Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

I saw that Gabriel Veron was among the edits and I think I mentioned it on the Swiki report that day. So needed to act quickly ūüėā

Lassina Traore, Silva Brenner and Gabriel Veron all got edited on Christmas Day.

So the question is, did you see any other random risers coming on the following days, or was it just a one-day Christmas hit? ;)

I honestly can’t remember I would like to think not otherwise I would mention it in the Swiki report. I guess we’ll find out in the coming days but I will be sure to mention interesting random edits in the future. Gives managers a chance to potentially hold off on selling players or buying players sooner.

I can remember 2 posts from today of someone failing to buy Toney and someone selling Veron.

Thanks! Your effort is truly appreciated! However - random rise or not - I would never sell a high-profile youngster like Veron, not before he makes it to some big European club to prove his value. :)

I can understand someone selling Veron if the game world is not very competitive where most youngsters are available, otherwise I’m with you on this.

My Lautaro Martinez   or   Havertz (or Pulisic) + Chillwell? (or any other Chelsea player)

Am I asking too much?

PS: I would need a LB and a second striker to replace Lautaro, but he won't give me Werner.

If you can’t take Werner then I would probably take either Pulisic or Havertz and Chilwell. Don’t think there’s much between Pulisic and Havertz, see what the rest of the forum says.

Ziyech is an interesting player to throw in the mix also. Unfortunate that he suffered an injury when he was on top of his game. I think Chelsea have missed him.

I'm a fan of random risers in the game as its like a wee bonus.

Strange day of reviews. Some Cyprus, and then so many rises for youngsters:

Ukraine: Trubin +4 to 82

Brazil: Paulo +7 to 82, De Paula +6 to 82, Jorge +6 to 82, Brenner +6 to 82, Veron +6 to 82, Souza +5 to 78

Championship: Toney +3 to 83

Portugal: Nunes +4 to 80, Tomas +5 to 78

Netherlands: Schuurs +3 to 85, Gravenberch +1 to 83, Traore +1 to 83, Madueke +4 to 80

And... delayed rise for Muller - +1 to 94.

I've been asking myself if there's a good formation with just 3 defenders ingame because no one uses it. Any experience from you guys?

Not sure

Muller gets his deserved +1

Agreed, what a year he has had, dropped to 92 last Dec, then 93 in August, 94 in December again

Gravenberch and Traore now being rated the same might be the biggest flaw in it, Gravenberch should've been equal with Schuurs. But I guess maybe they take it slow with the Dutch league, whenever there was a midseason review it never was very generous.

PS. Did anyone see any of these individual changes coming in the Swiki edits, or are they really completely random? I don't check them religiously, but I was a bit surprised that I would've overlooked Ajax being mentioned.

Agreed, those two will rise again in the proper review though

SM seems to do Ajax mid-way a lot

Martinez, Jesus has 92 as he is at City imo, in another club he might have dropped

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Sp-Sht-Pred-Prem-Livp-Man-Ci1.png

Again lots of risers but be careful about the RED Boxes. I see Diego Jota is now -1.2% BUT, even tho his rating will be negatively very low by his targeted return date, middle of February, I think SM may well remember his big impact at Liverpool and let him have his rise. As you see Robertson's RED Box is a lightly tinged colour, as I also think he should get his 94 for being so good for so long.

Man C are already as low as 8th and may well drop a little further if The Premiership allow many of their games to be postponed for "Covid Reasons".

Anyway we'll see what happens in due course as some pundits are already calling for a temporary Football Covid break.

Hope not.¬†Thanks to everyone for their interest and support, much¬†appreciated and really keeps me going, Cheers Socca¬†ūüėÄ

Ps I am really looking forward to Spurs at home to Leeds on Saturday. YES it could be another 6:2 but I'm not bothered I expect Leeds to still rely on all out attacking. We won't change & If Mourinho has another counter attack plan to outwit Bielsa, so be it. It will be very interesting to watch and I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway. B4 this of course we have Spurs in action tonight against Fulham 8pm with Liverpool away at Newcastle same time. Fantastic! I'm gonna watch Spurs tho in preparation for their game on Saturday lunchtime with us.¬†ūüėõ
