Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Barella should get 92 yes, but might take Ndidi long term as quality DMs are rare, he will eventually make the step-up

Tino Livramento. Best of the bunch, England already have so much depth at RB you can add him as well 😂

I like Mbete, Stewart, Odubeko and Hackford also.

Firmino+Jota for Haaland? Reasonable deal, but only given that losing the duo doesn't leave you really short of options in the Striker position.

Firmino+ Matip for Coman? Woah, steady on - this seems tooooo much.

Take any of these two or am I overpaying? The 1st deal

Haaland could (one day) potentially reach the level of a Lewa or a Ibra: at such a young age he is already rated 92 and still has much much more to give.

PersonalIy, I love the vibe he gives of as a player - his general attitude to the game: it has champion written all over it.

Although, with his style of play VAR is always gonna be a frustration for him. I'm sure he's smart enough to beat it over and over though.

Imagine if Pinocchio was a top teir striker in this VAR game, 😂 his nose 👃 would probably be offside everytime he'd attempt to run in behind. 😀

I'd replace Osimhen. He's just needs more time - due to injury/getting use to a new team.

I need to sacrifice 2 of these youths:

I. Losada (Celta Vigo)
E. Zhegrova (Basel)
A. Almeida (V. Guimaraes)

Who would you sell and why?

Going back I see that your question hasn't yet been attended to.

"No fear Milanista is now here". 😀

I'll just presume you are just wanting to increase income and reduce youth squad size as the players are at a similar age/rating.

A. Russo (19) (73) (Sassuolo player - out on loan)

His side are 19th in Serie B. Although, they have won last 3 games they certainly had a very poor start to season - were conceding 3-5 goals per game early season.

S. Bajic (19) (73) (St. Etienne) He was added at a higher rating than St. Etienne other young (20 year old) Goalkeeper. And is still apart of the first team squad.

M. Mudryk (20) (73) (Shakhtar -on loan at Desna) has made are 8 apps (so far) for club mostly getting an average of 60 min game time. Desna are actually third in the Ukrainian league table behind Mudryk's Shakhtar. He must be doing reasonable well.

I. Losada (19) (73) (Celta Vigo) out with B team, has got a 68 overall of FIFA 21 similar to Zirkazee and is only 1 point behind the likes of Fabio Silva and Joao Pedro. 🙂

E. Zhegrova (Basel) (21) (80) has made 17 apps this season with an average of (6.78) Basel are always in and around European competition.

A. Almeida (V. Guimarae) (20) (78) (6.76 in 7 apps).

Based on the above information the two players I would sell are................. in bold. 🙂

My first team can afford to lose Werner and Niguez to get Sterling but is it too much to pay?

Unless keeping both players around will eventually lead to concerns for them or other (more important) players in your team - then and only then sell the duo. Because having stregth in depth is always gonna be very useful, especially if you get 2-3 unexpected injuries in one game.

another interesting deal or no deal.

My Smith Rowe and Frabotta of Juve + cash of about 14m for Sergi Roberto. He is level 4 concerns at the club and I think he doesnt want to wait for just straight cash.(probably get 15m or so when value goes to 7.5m next drop.

A few weeks ago I would have said yes, now with emile running the revival im not so sure, but a 91 rated rb/midfielder isnt to be sniffed at in CGW like mine where not many 90 rated let alone higher become free

We understand your point for not wanting to let ESR go. However If you've got good young AM's to replace his loss then i'd sacrifice the duo for S. Roberto - with it being a CGW. Otherwise keep the duo... Emil Smith Rowe has the potential of reaching a 90 (someday) in the later future.

Romagnoli or Kimpembe?

I must admit I was surprised back when Kimpembe got his 91. However, I reckon he has justified it since then.

Romagnoli has a greater chance of rising again between the two players. Plus might I remind you that Romagnoli is a favorite defensor of mine. ☺

If squad depth is really needed then take the duo. Otherwise, keeping a very strong (stable) 95 is the better choice.

Predicted peak ratings for:

Naby Keita - 92

Sergej Milinkovic Savic 93/94. A move to a stronger club would really help.

Romagnoli 93 a bit optimistic, I know.

Klosterman 92

C. Nkunku 92

K. Coman 93

With Leipzig it's tough as they are always there and there abouts but never good enough to win finals/the league. Plus, the fact that they seem to lose a top player or two each season.

Pogba is more talented, something which he is now starting to show us again. However, Goretzka is the safer option SM-wise: Paul just isn't consistent enough which he has (frustratingly) shown us time and time again.

I really use to look forward to watching play when he first came through at Manchester United and for the French national team. I hoped that he would have (by now) achieved more in his career with Manunited.

Maybe you could do a swap deal for him in May/June time -we'll have a better understanding of him by then.

Looks like the consensus is to keep Firmino.

I'm just a little desperate to bring down the average age of the team ig. Took over Liverpool in a new cgw(already competitive with 50+ teams), and realized that the top players are all 28-30. Henderson, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Van Djik, Firmino, Salah, Mane, Allison...etc(the entire first choice midfield+attack is older than 28 and will all drop together). All 90+ players under age of 30 are taken...

How long would you keep them all and who'd you sell first?

Wijnaldum first but I think you should be good for another season

What about decent players who are between 88-89? Give us a list of players who are available?

And tell us who have you bid on for the youth squad?

In the future I would consider selling and trying to replace Wiji, then Hendo/Firmino. The others - it's still too soon to think about selling/replacing such top players.

A very short summary:

In 2018, the Saudi former Minister of Sport, Turki Al-Sheikh, was upset because he had failed to become co-owner of one of the historically best teams in Egypt, Al-Ahly. So, he decided to buy a club from a small town, change its name into Pyramids FC and move it to Cairo. Of course, he spent loads of money to sign a bunch of Brazilian and other South American players, while changing managers for fun every 2-3 months.

Meanwhile, he created the club’s own TV channel, and people like Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, John Terry and Robbie Keane would often go there as football pundits during Pyramids FC matches (I’m curious to know what they got to say about Egyptian football, and also if they were asked to comment on matches in Arabic).

At one point, it happened that, for some reason, the owner wasn’t too fond of Egyptian referees, so in one match he brought his own referees from Tunisia, paid by his club.

Not surprisingly, such a team didn’t have too many supporters, so the boss came up with the idea to hire people around Egypt for this purpose. Apparently, a number of people over there earned around 500€ per month to become professional Pyramids fans, go to the games and follow the team.

Unfortunately, like all good stories, this one ended too soon. Eventually, the guy sold the club to someone else and in 2019 bought Almeria FC.

:D

Alcantara should be 93+ for a few more seasons yet and Jota has settled in well at Liverpool, looking like he should reach 90 this month.

It also looks like Liverpool are missing Jota with their lack of goals currently, he just gives Liverpool another option going forward when things aren’t going to plan with Salah, Mane and Firmino.
