Rahul W's rating predictions

Recommended Posts

In a brilliant GW that started in November. There was a 30 mil budget, no signing players over 78 from unmanaged sides, and 28 player squad cap.

Just finished the first season and I only received £1.8 mil for winning D2! Cash is very tight. I have around a million left. The vast majority of the obvious buys are gone. Any suggestions for players to drop or obscure shouts that might not yet be bought up?

Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

I was quite confused with Aarons or Godfrey. I think I will go with Aarons.

No doubt Godfrey will get another rise but he will only get a chance if any of the 1st back 4 is missing.

Aarons either have a club switch in him or Norwich looks very likely to get promoted. So it's a win-win with Aarons.

Yes Godfrey benched yesterday was a negative. I sold Aarons due to Norwich Relegation and being 86 (as Championship 85 cap). Slightly better situ with Norwich top but I won't contemplate buying him back until firmly in Premiership (IF they do) OR transfer to bigger club. Keeping Godfrey until or if he gets little game time.

Pulisic has impressed me BUT needs to keep injury free. Keeping to see how this works out

Hmmmmm. My strakosha, aubmayang and cash for Donnarumma!

Strange request as I am tempted but without the cash part, they want 20m.....

I dont think GK are that important in the game though. Ratings per game straks 6.8 donna 7.01 so dont think they make that much of a difference.

Any thoughts I think a bit rich for what I get...but he could get much higher rated in future as only young?

Sorry to ask so many transfer questions I seem to have lost confidence in my own "thoughts" now i finally have some cash to spend

I Would 1) tell him his bid is way over top and the cash out of the question and see what happens from there. 2) Don't be disappointed if he doesn't come back. This game is all about getting transfers that are ONLY on YOUR SIDE.

Yes, leaves insufficient time for me to get the Spreadsheet's done nowadays. Think it may be right time to retire the spreadsheet. I put it to the forum a number of years ago, when most believed it couldn't be done. I think I've proved it can be done now.

Yes could be awful is usually the SM way tho they have quickened the reviews which is a good thing overall.

Then they went back and said it wasn't September....it was first brought up then which is lies 🤔...then they say they will be done step by step in the next 12 months 5 months on nothing

Then they say we will start a forum thread to get the best ideas to improve where lots of managers suggest ideas but the author does not  log in for 4 months ...its.pure ignorance

If you did your weekly food shop at morrisons ...and was treated like this you wouldn't go back would you ...🤣🤣

They need to get back on it as all the success with the other platforms came from sm worlds 🌎

To those of you wondering about the SM updates, I was in the discord group. They said the first things they sort out like bugs and reviews being faster (which I think they are now) we wouldn’t notice because a lot of work has to be done behind the scenes first to sort out issues. The second and third phases we would see actual changes to the game but I believe this is a plan over a few years so don’t expect anything instant just know it is happening. Hope this helps

I made my predictions for Brazil back in November, so they might not be 100% accurate, but they give an idea of who could rise:

I reckon they went back to that kind of top-down, skimming-through review they were doing back in October/November, before the Big 5. It's faster, but less accurate I guess. What do you guys think?

Maybe a +1 or something like that for Brenner but not sure.

The likes of Ze Gabriel, Cardoso, Bruno Praxedes, Miranda, Christian etc will be the decent risers in this review.

I saw in september they were messing with the engine indeed . There was a time of 2 months where goalkeepers would often score a 3 or 4 . They have changed that again now . They are probably messing with other things now again , behind the scenes .

makes matches even more of a gamble than it already was . Matches imo are not fun right now (too much of a gamble and too little skill needed) . Buying and selling players who are rising currently is the only fun thing for me about the game .

Yeah they didn’t say what they were working on behind the scenes just it would be stuff we couldn’t see. So maybe it does involve the engine I am not to sure. I think the more visible stuff would likely be later in the year at the earliest maybe this time next year but not 100% sure
