2 good wins for you Accrington & Ipswich expect you to beat Swindon only 2nd team all season to lose at Rochdale last night the other being Fleetwood I'd look forward to going to the new plough lane.

We are actually playing well under Darren Moore atm but he was brought in way to late...said to Kieran a while back we were down Tony Pulis 10 game spell killed us ...

You will bounce straight back up, he is too good a manager and your players are too good as well for lge 1. Look at Barnsley and rotheram always come straight back up.

Im hoping that our current run continues till the end of the season as we have loads of players out of contract at the end of the season and would have a mid table team next season if we could keep them all. Never finished higher than 15th since we came back into the league (apart from 1 season when we finished 7th and won the play offs to go up). thats small budgets and having to get other teams cast offs. BUT I wouldnt have it any other way. We are fan owned and will remain that way.

Yeah too late in the day, looks like you will be playing my local town Doncaster next season who ironically had a real shot at promotion before Darren Moore left 😂

Sadly we played you when he was still boss I believe! You cant beat anyone at the moment (not helping us as you have had a few of the teams at the bottom end of table!

No Rise! I've updated Panzo in the spreadsheet. I would sell him if I were you.

Is it possible to discuss formations on discord?

If so I would like someone to bring up the 3-5-2 formations please.

It's an attacking formation but the attacking midfielders show yellow (orange). Only wingbacks and M(RL), which there are very few in the game can play there.

Making it very similar to 5-3-2 positional wise.

Agreed and 352 for many years was THE BEST formation ever on SM 12-0 scorelines. Even overwhelmed 451D and 541

So Dagba, the next RB for France? 85 for 5M...

Thoughts?

Must be his performances that count more than his stats as spreadsheet not that great. He has his excuses tho as he was out 3weeks in February with a thigh muscle strain and previous to that out 14days in January with a VIRUS!

As he is only 85 rated he has still a good chance of a +1. Updated spreadsheet:-

Colin Dagba PSG 2nd 7.1% 1 86 25.9% 7.1%

Can Daryl Dike get 84 this season?

Not as quickly as that as Barnsley & Championship are not reviewed often at all & he has plus 4 just on the 16th March 2021. Eventually he looks like he may rise again but who knows when in the future.

Ander Guevara was 85 - not 89 - the last time I checked, but other than that great work as usual!

Btw, how would the prediction for him be with the correct rating? :)

Thanks for spotting my Error Gyan. I can see how I did it. I check the rating & change the colour so  each row I see has actually been changed. On this occasion I didn't use the format painter to do that, I copied and pasted previous players rating instead so although the colour was right he now had the same rating as Le Normand. Corrected now to:-

Ander Guevara R.Sociedad 5th 19.2% 2 87 12.8% 19.2%

Cheers 😀

Paredes +1 or +2?

On stats no (Red Boxed), but he might get it on performances. Updated stats:-

L Paredes PSG 2nd -6.7% 0 90 -7.2% -6.7%

I think that was why they made it hard to fit players into it (attacking players wise) as Kieran said LB/RB dont get the same high marks. Everyone was playing 352 and whoever was on the wing did brilliantly. I had a LB/LM 78 rated player playing every week and scoring/assisting in a team made up of 85-88 rated players. I couldnt drop him!

What do you guys think about Sacha Boey? He is on loan to Dijon who are going to be relegated.

I know that @Soccahappyhas predicted he will rise to 82.

Is he likely to play much in his return to Rennes or likely to move elsewhere?

Funnily enough he actually played a couple of games for Rennes before he got shipped out on loan, I would like to say no with Traore being first choice and the huge talent that is Soppy who I would think is next in line.

Maybe he will move somewhere else but in all honesty I’m not sure about that.

Yeah, I remember him getting a couple games at Rennes. I reckon someone might look to pick him up next season so that he stays in Ligue 1.

Here's a question for you...

One of my teams, I only have 2 goal keepers and one has developed serious concerns.

What will eventually happen with him, as you always have to have 2 GK's.  Will he be sold and the chairman immediately purchase a 10k no hoper?  or will he remain unsold as you can't sell one of your two GKs?

I think he will go, there seems to be a glitch with GK leaving I have a team with only one GK as the other one retired. My current one is 38 years young! will be interesting to see when he reires!

Hi guys, what do you think of Villalibre? I've been offered 5,5 millions.

I don't need money but I need space in team and getting rid of players with low potential is a good thing. What's his potential ceiling? 87-88? Will he rise in the next review to 87?

Not enough though? Not as much as McTom has played CB for Scotland for example

Do not think he is special, maybe a decent 86/87 at most

Stats this season don't look that great, hardly completes 90 minutes and only has 4 goals in the league,

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

2ndPredSpShtItalRoma2.png.6d78721361fafc7122068ee4a5cc275d.png

Ok not using PostImage for this one, just a trial to see how it goes cos getting problems with blank pages every upload nowadays, with them.

As I had a few Roma players myself and wanted to sell, if not worthy of keeping I thought I should do the lot, at the same time. Back to La Liga tomorrow tho.

As u see above there are plenty of Red boxes so as they are not reviewed by SM on Stats. please take these Stats as Indicative only. Most Red Boxes do NOT turn into Risers so be careful. Karsdorp had really good stats last time too but SM did not give him a rise. Villar the safest followed by R Ibanez but Kumbulla looks very tight.

As U can see above to SM Search for this post ItalRoma  ie two 4 letter keywords for Country and Club into one word no spaces, I will try to remember this each time. Please remind me if I don’t and I will edit. This is the usual search ie 4 first letters of country and club if possible as such as Manchester clubs & Real Clubs would have the same ie SpaiReal and EnglManc. So have used EnglManC, EnglManU etc. Try to take a note of the keyword If u want to refer back to it. Real Madrid is SpaiMadr. Will update as many clubs as I can closer to the BIG5 May Review.

Thanks for the Forum’s interest and support for the Spreadsheet, which is greatly appreciated, Cheers Socca😀

Again, in my opinion 3-5-2 is more or less good as it is, its only problem is the lack of players with the ability to play on the wings in the game, apart from the full-backs.

In fact, let me explain better. The real problem is SM's bias towards offensive players. I would love to use 3-5-2, but that would mean almost always using 5 defenders (3 CBs + 2 full-backs). Considering that on average offensive players have a higher rating on SM, using this formation would often mean taking out higher rated players and putting in lower rated ones.

Agreed.

I would never propose five attacking midfielders. (Ah, the good ol' days .... )

As a question: Does anyone ever use a 3-3-4 as an "attacking version" of the 3-5-2?
