another bid received that I would like your opinion on.

My Aubamyang for chillwell and barkley (he did briefly offer chillwell and christos tzolis and 3m cash but soon realised the "strength" of that bid.)

I would be tempted by the tzolis one but feel barkley is a nothing player in terms of my first team and or growth potential. Chilwell will be good as LB is always a position I am short in and he will fill it for a while. I currently have spinazzola and am worried he will lose his LB, Diallo and danilo are both 89 so chilwells steady 90 would be good and allow me to possbly sell one of those others or shift them to CB.

thanks for any advice

Cheers for that Socca,  bit confused by "cap "  why does it apply to certain players and how do you know that a player is capped,  is there a magic formula for working all this out ?... Many Thanks

Yes if u put any club's squad in order say from 70 to 90 then that club's cap is 90. When and if SM give a rise that takes a player at that club to 91. Then that Club has a squad cap of 91. Simples 😀

The thing u have to watch is U have bought a player who is the highest rated player at that club say 90 and they are not a top club U might have to wait ages for him or anyone else at the club to get 91. Whereas someone like Bruno H at Manu had a bigger scope to get rise after rise.

Highest rated player on a team, applies especially for teams mid table and bottom half.

Declan Rice, Jack Grealish and Danny Ings are all good examples.

Thx Socca and Kieran, very helpful, I had no idea that there was a cap rule , bit disappointed with Raphinha, he dropped a mill in value the day after I bought him  and now I find out he is capped lol , still think I will hold on to him as there`s a good chance he may move and be open for a higher rating.  Cheers

Matheus Nascimento

Club - Botafogo

Age - 16

Position - Striker

44D3B3A5-C18E-447F-B47C-027D82B2C5E8.jpeg

Nascimento is a young striker currently playing for Botafogo and Brazil’s youth setups, He’s a very quick and lanky forward who is very good at making runs to beat the oppositions defence.

His movement is great which can be sometimes hard to find in a player that is so young, his finishing does lack at times and is something that he will need to improve to make it at the top.

Highlights for Brazil:

Matheus has a very distinctive look which reminds me of many players from a much older generation.

Nascimento signed his first professional contract back in June which keeps him at Botafogo till 2023.

SM rating - 70

Value - 240k

Arthur Wenderroscky

Club - Fluminense

Age - 16

Position - Central midfield

4B1405D9-4125-4864-81FD-A17918C1B9DC.jpeg

Arthur is another young talent coming from Fluminense, he’s a very technical agile midfielder who likes to control the play with his keen eye for a pass.

Like Nascimento he’s another player who is playing for Brazil at youth level as well as for his club, in fact both Nascimento and Arthur play in the same Brazil team and I would expect them both to progress through the ranks together.

Highlights for Brazil:

Both Arthur and Matheus are currently not in Soccer manager but I will be sure to keep everyone informed when they get added.

These 2 players I believe are going to have big futures for Brazil and could help Brazil win major trophies again.

SM rating - N/A

Value - N/A

Matheus Nascimento (17) with his first professional goal last night, not in Serie A but still good to see him on the scoresheet.

Keep a close eye on him this season!

I think I have seen it all now! in a new game world one team (brighton) have now managed to sell pretty much all of his first team for max cash to 7 different managers who have done two deals then moved onto a new team and done two more deals then moved on again etc.None of the managers have done deals with other "legit teams) one has tried but SMFA has stopped the deal! yet they let all the transfers through and when "duplicate" accounts reported they found no evidence and have not reversed any of the transfers!

What is more annoying is that all the "managers" belong to the same 4 game worlds as him and do deals within seconds of joining so Brighton manage to get two players sold on the same day (which I thought was impossible) weirdly though he has only won 1 trophy in the year he has been playing (with himself) in game worlds so he must be crap at the game, but he is really good at cheating.

I know he's been out most of the season so no rise soon, but what do you think about the long term future of Benjamin Henrichs? Could he become 90+?

If he stays at Leipzig I think he has every chance but would face stiff competition from Mukiele, all ifs and buts to be honest so I wouldn’t like to say for definite.

Has there been any rumours/news about Swansea's Ben Cabango? He's had/having a very good season at Swansea this season!! Great performances and chipped in with a few goals too! Still cheap on SM but will he get a move?? Thoughts??

I haven’t seen any rumours but Swansea have just qualified for the play offs so every chance he could be playing in the Prem next season.

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

2 more French Clubs updated with plenty of potential rises, Reinaldo goes from strength to strength. Never seen him play but if his performances are going the same way as his stats then he must be playing well as well as clocking up minutes which are 80% of the available minutes since the last review.

To SM Search for this post FranLens or FranLill as highlighted above ie two 4 letter keywords for Country and Club into one word no spaces, I will try to remember this each time. Please remind me if I don’t and I will edit.

Thanks for the Forum’s interest and support for the Spreadsheet, which is greatly appreciated, Cheers Socca😀

I think Ginter should go to 92 from 91. Expect Bastoni to get a +1 to 91. Ruben Dias +1 to 92, maybe if Man City win the UCL he'll go to 93, just a few from the top.
