La Liga best XI prospects and risers

Ow ok you went for Mingueza ahead of Araujo cause it will probably rise +3 and Araujo +2. In terms of prospect (talent/potential) Araujo is way ahead of him or Guillamon tho

Mingueza is a talent also, it’s a mixture of money making and talent. This my opinion not yours the last time I checked.

Its ok i just wanted to point out that if the thread reader prefers PROSPECT over RISER (as the title of the post states in that order) to opt for Araujo, no biggies... if i wanted to correct you, i would have asked why you place Pedri in the right wing when he never played there for example.

PS: No need for post hidding, there is no disrespect and i want to believe we are all grown ups here.

It literally says both prospects and risers, you seem upset over something? Are you ok? Ive never spoke to you and you are literally trying to poke as many holes as you can in that team 😂

Also, we all play SM right? Can Pedri play on the right in SM? there’s your answer. This conversation is over, have a nice day.

EDIT: Don’t accuse me of post hiding, stop being immature!!!

We all play SM right? Does SM change position of players when they do not perform in that position? There's your answer.

Regards,

At the time of this team, does Pedri play on the right wing in SM? When SM removes his right wing position and I do another team in the winter he will no longer play there. Simple.

As for you claiming and reporting me for hidden your post, well that’s just pathetic, you need to grow up. I have no issues having a debate with you and I haven’t and will never hide or delete anyone’s post on the forum.

just put your own version of the team with what you think.

there's lots of people here giving their opinions on risers/prospects and they don't all agree. its not a black and white science. its good to pool together different ideas especially when theres lots of different GW with different challenges

ofc! I just wanted to know the conditions of the XI presented in fact... the 3 player per team condition was explained after for example. My idea was to debate on the some of the players presented as in Prospect/Moneymaking and why (IN MY OPINION) would have placed Araujo over Mingueza. This guy took it personally as if i had a beef with him or something when i dont even know who he is and i think i read him 4 or 5 times in my life.

Going back on topic... ideally would be best to make a moneymaking XI and a potential XI ??

in the context of the ongoing rating reviews, right now its useful to have risers/ money makers. rather than longer term potential or actual ability. so people can sign players with the biggest upcoming boosts.

This is the why I find Kieran's teams useful. As a recap/ summary of who to look out for in the short term review. Obviously there is also some long term overlap as the good prospects getting game time will rise quickest.

Looks like Leeds attempts to get Romaine Perraud are unlikely to be successful with Southampton likely to get him for a snip of £8.5m. That's well within Leeds "Pocket" so there must be another reason.

Seeing as it looks likely they will start La Liga, whos a good bet to rise about 8/10 mill midfield?

Pedraza from Villareal.

He's a very versatile player though. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing these days. ☺

I reckon he'd make a great addition to the Chelsea lineup:

Thank you

I would choose Locatelli (atm). I reckon if his fire 🔥 isn't extinguished 🧯 and Italy go far in the Euro 2020 then he could be in for a (random) +1 (before the winter) after Euro 2020 ends.

Hopefully a Messi drop to 96 but SM admin are all Barca supporters so probably not.

Wishful thinking 😃

I must completely disagree with you amico.

He's the main reason as to why Barça won the CDR and finished in a CL spot this year. He's also still at his best (albeit slower than previous seasons) and plays in a faster league than Cristiano Ronaldo does, CR who wasn't on form when Juve needed him most in this season gone by.

my Tadic and Toloi for Le normand? I guess long term would be in my favour? ..any thoughts

I hope you iz feeling better amico.

I agree with you that it's a good deal especially if your sticking around for the long-term. Le Normand (89) does have the potential to improve further as a defensor - although we can agree that he could do with a move to a stronger club/better performing club first in order to show us what he's really made of.  I say this because he's a late bloomer and at 24 years therefore he needs to be playing at a higher presure to bring out the best in him.

8 hours ago, Nameless said:

How good/promising is Kenneth Taylor of Ajax? From what I read of him back in Dec he's a very talented young midfielder

Will see see game time in upcoming season? I hope so

This was said about him last year:

"His composure and technique allow him to orchestrate the build-up play from the centre of the park and his strength on the ball allow him to break out of tight spaces if pressed in transition.

The young Dutchman is one of the more polished passers in his age group in Europe. Comfortable with both feet, Taylor likes to make short intricate passes, but also has the vision and range to break through defensive lines with precise long balls. Defensively, Taylor is poised when following the opposition’s build-up play. He uses his speed to make interceptions or cover out of position teammates. Likewise, he knows when to hold his position, giving himself time to read the play and time his tackles and clearances perfectly".

Don't read toooo much into what was said about him last year....☺ It's sounds as if he's being mega-hyped up as the next big thing at Ajax. I'm not sure how Taylor is getting on these days though.

If you have him keep him for another whole season to see if he progresses or regresses in his development.

Mostly in very competitive game worlds, where you need a magnifiying glass in order to pick the right prospects and many times giving up on biggest boost in order to get the one who will distinguish in the future. Also... this is harder on CB's since higher rated ones are hard to get, and also are the most difficult to predict because of they peak late.

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

While I remember Mikel Merino will be 25yo shortly on 22nd June, being "Odd" on the first of July he will likely lose £4m and be Valued at only £12m. A rebuy opportunity with £4m less to pay if u want to.

I'm hopeful the first 2 Red Boxes might pay off ie Isak and Le Normand. Tho the 2nd at - 2.7% might be a close decision for SM to make.

To SM Search for this post SpaiSoci and NOT as  in picture above  ie two 4 letter keywords for Country and Club into one word no spaces, I will try to remember this each time. Please remind me if I don’t and I will edit.

Thanks for the Forum’s interest and support for the Spreadsheet, which is greatly appreciated, Cheers Socca😀

Ps tomorrow i'm having Lunch with family and repeat it again on Saturday with different Family (Fathers Day is  Sunday - Yes I know 😋) so u might get a small upload tomorrow, usual time or if not then over the weekend.

I read good things about him around nov-dec as well. Apart from that I am clueless about him.

Ajax is not shy giving young talented players the game time. So we will find out together in few months where he stands.

Out of interest, you call him a "massive talent" is he better than Vinicius Júnior (of Real Madrid) was at/around the same age?

I cant recall Vini's performances in Libertadores cup, but i saw Kayky in this cup a couple of games (like against River) and playing like he's been here for a while... you know its hard to see 18yo players showing that kind of level in a continental stage and against a top teams like River.

I was really convinced Merino would get a +1 to 91 . Now I see the prediction showing -50% .

He is 4th highest player rating of Sociedad (22nd in whole La Liga) , valued at 40M at transfermarket .

Didnt know he was injured but apparently he has indeed missed some matches from april onwards .

With the valuedrop coming up , now I am thinking of selling him if he does not rise .

His value will drop to 14M though , not 12M .

If I sell Merino , I could go for Hojbjerg instead . But I dont think Hojbjerg will rise either ?

Who would you keep/buy ?

Merino (after his value drop) or Hojberg (or maybe even John Mcginn , leander dendoncker) ?

If I sell Merino , I could go for Hojbjerg instead . But I dont think Hojbjerg will rise either ? There is a very slight chance SM could "Credit" Merino's  injury minutes but I doubt it unless he'd been playing out of this world B4hand

Who would you keep/buy ? Non of the options look great but maybe Re-buy Merino 2m cheaper and the profit of 10% or so on selling + wages saved. Think Hojberg might have gone up if Spurs hadn't disappointed EOS.

Merino (after his value drop) or Hojberg (or maybe even John Mcginn , leander dendoncker) ?

As above, Best of Luck Toppo
