SERIE B PROSPECTS/RISERS

After plenty of research next up I’ve decided to do Serie B, some of my picks below to progress on a successful season.

@sharkdanyour opinion would be greatly appreciated 😊

Sebastiano Esposito -               80 -> 82
Youssef Maleh -                           80 -> 83
Davide Frattesi -                          84 -> 84
Dany Mota -                                    78 -> 82
Andrea Papetti -                           80 -> 82
Samuele Ricci -                             82 -> 84
Fabiano Parisi -                             76 -> 80
Andre Anderson -                       78 -> 80
Antonio Gallo -                             70 -> 76
Caleb Okoli -                                  73 -> 78
Salvatore Esposito -                   82 -> 83
Nedim Bajrami -                            82 -> 84
Davide Bettella -                          82 -> 84

Youssef Maleh (22) helped steer Venezia to play off promotion, currently on loan from Fiorentina and recently called up to Italy’s u21 squad for the Euros. I’m hopeful that Maleh can come back to Venezia next season in Serie A.

Youssef Maleh

Davide Frattesi (21) another who has recently been playing for Italy at u21 level and has been impressive, watched his most recent game against Portugal and he impressed me, playing in various roles but ever the warrior.

Samuele Ricci (18) regarded as one of the best talent in Serie B, Ricci has helped guide Empoli to promotion winning the league. Along with Fabiano Parisi (20) these two youngsters are certainly ones to watch next season as they make the step up.

Currently on loan from Atalanta and of Nigerian decent, Caleb Okoli (19) is another who has enjoyed a spell in Serie B. Very promising central defender who should see a good rise in the next month or so.

Salvatore Esposito (20) has been the standout player for SPAL this season, a typical regista who has the ability and potential to make the step up to Serie A.

Salvatore Esposito

Finally Dany Mota (23) on loan at Monza and will more than likely play at a higher level next season. He’s also currently the top goal scorer for Portugal in the u21 Euros.

Cheers Kieran 😁

Some Serie B risers this morning, a few players missed off but I’m not massively surprised.

Dany Mota - 78 -> 82
Samuele Ricci - 82 -> 83
Fabiano Parisi - 76 -> 80
Antonio Gallo -  70 -> 78
Caleb Okoli - 73 -> 78
Salvatore Esposito - 82 -> 83
Nedim Bajrami - 82 -> 84

Expect Youssef Maleh to rise in the next few days.

I was surprised he didn't rise, but Venezia looks done and dusted now. (I hope I am wrong)

A lot of players missed off, but for those who weren't, it's been mostly a good review so far.

It is 21+4 (wrong). It's 17+4=21.

I believe it's an inclusion. Basically it means 17+4.

I tried it and it was 1(1) when the player only came on as a sub. But Gyan is saying different so....

Top 4 above all got a rise, pity about Le Normand but his stats weren't that good at -2.7%.

Barrenetexia -10.4% got his I can just hear SM saying to themselves, "close enough to give him a one!"

Be careful of the reddish boxes where SM rate the higher rated players by Performances rather than stats.

To SM Search for this post SpaiSoci  ie two 4 letter keywords for Country and Club into one word no spaces, I will try to remember this each time. Please remind me if I don’t and I will edit.

Thanks for the Forum’s interest and support for the Spreadsheet, which is greatly appreciated, Cheers Socca😀

Well, I've lived my entire SM life thinking that it was addition (which I thought would make the most sense), but I've just checked and it looks like Prof. Nameless is right, it's inclusion.

I am quite surprised (and not only because he is right for the first time). :D

And the 4 equate to 2 full appearances?

If you are asking in terms of player concerns, I remember that someone explained it quite well here, but now I can't recall who, or what he said. But to sum up, in most cases the short answer is yes:

I'd take Llorente, younger and much more versatile. I don't see how Thiago doesn't drop at least one.

Not sure about the deal but I do agree I fail to see how Thiago will not drop after Barca (won a cup and 3rd), Real (2nd and went further than LFC in CL) and Atleti (la Liga champ) were reviewed.

LFC should be held to the same standard. Never does anything in cup competitions, were atrocious in title defence and were quite poor in CL.

marcus llorente swap with thiago alcantara (me) is a good deal in CGW?

alcantara in liverpool stay or -1?

thanks before

I would take Llorente, versatility being a massive factor and the likely hood of Thiago dropping.

My mate is still convinced Thiago is the best midfielder in the league 🤣

Nice Profit Sevilla!

Glad Acuna did get his Rise. and Joan Jordan as well even tho -9.2%, the spreadsheet knew better than me 🤓🧐🥴🤐

An adjustment in the Over0% Rating of 9.2% should hopefully make this more accurate next review.

Kalvin Phillips not predicted a +1 or 2? Seems like a solid international player. Key player for Leeds

I think Benrahma deserves a rise to 86. 1300 minutes ,1 goal 6 assists . Better than yarmalenko and Lanzini . Just my thought as a hammer fan

Few names I can think of.

Kalvin Phillips +1 guaranteed, arguably been England’s best player in the Euros on top of a solid season with Leeds.
