Most excited R16 games I can remember, especially like you say back to back.

Seen on Twitter that someone backed both games to finish 3-3 at 9000/1. He won over 60k 😳

His criticism is harsh to be fair, he’s still only 22. I had a feeling he was going to miss that penalty just because of the type of game he had. Missed a glorious chances when played through by Pogba.

Pogba deserved to be on the winning side, fantastic performance!

Think the Man City review was rather underwhelming to be honest.

Luke Shaw got the same rating rise of +1 as Ruben Dias and Phil Foden with no distinction in increase between them.

Ederson also missed out on 94 again despite winning 4 out of the last 5 league titles with Manchester City. Winning the last two golden gloves.

Appreciate the injury but when he did play he def deserved the 90 and then on the other hand you have guys like vvd that will keep their rating although they have been injured seems odd stop one going up due to injury but the other stays and doesn't drop because when they did play they did well is it not the same practically?

Take back what I said about Barnes, I’m truly sorry 😂

How on earth does Jota deserve another rise to 91? Injured back end of the season and hasn’t performed at all in Euros.

Today's review is certainly one for debate...

  1. Liverpool: Origi drop good, Jota 91 pretty premature given he was injured. Mane and Firmino.. I understand but still surprised.
  2. Man Utd: Good mostly, especially with de Gea and Deano. Maguire 92, I agree with it though surprised they gave it to him anyways. Good rises for a bunch of youngsters.
  3. Man City: Really thought Dias would be given 93 but it's good they kept him to 92. More surprised Foden just got 90 instead of 91, but I'm fine with that too. Zinchenko 90 seems unnecessary (both him and Mendy 90?), good rises for youngsters.

Edit: I could see Foden getting 91 if England win the Euros.

And there’s me thinking you were doing the review for SM 😂 which by the way I prefer looking at Jota’s rise. Must be because he plays for Liverpool IDK 🤷‍♂️

It's not even so much about the actual player themselves that peeve me it's more about the consistency of it all (injury wise)

Yes a tad underwhelming.

How does same rating rise matter? Dias is 92, Shaw is 91. There's the distinction.

Shaw was arguably best left-back in the league and comparing him to Dias isn't fair.

Agreed on Ederson.

wan-bissaka stay at 90 ???

he plays every game full minutes while martial is 91 and hasnt played much and when he did he did not perform at all .
Makes little sense .

Dias only +1 . Being PL player of the year apparently means nothing for SM . (seen this before with henderson)

AWB has played a lot but I do not think he warrants a +1 just yet. Still not the perfect product, number of goals come from his side, mistakes covering the back post off crosses etc. Shaw and AWB can't be on the same rating.

My issue is Zinchenko got 90 with half the minutes AWB had.

Comparing to Martial isn't fair. He had an excellent season in 19/20 getting 91. I wouldn't drop him so soon. Been injured since March.

IMO Dias shouldn't have gotten PL player of the year and I find the whole narrative a bit over the top.

Any Southampton fans in here who can tell me what potential Nathan TELLA has ?

Won young player of the season award .

Looking at his stats right now , it is not showing anything impressive . So I hope others have seen him play and can make a better judgement .

I'm a Saints fan and he looks good. Very quick and direct and Ralph rates him. Although I suspect he'll be more of an impact sub than starter next season. But worth a punt for sure. He could force himself into the team (he can play out wide as well as up front which is just as well - he's not going to displace Ings or Adams, plus we're heavily linked with Adam Armstrong).

Keep KWP. One of our best players last season. Jankewitz is a bit of an unknown quantity. He has great talent but a questionable attitude. Hassenhuttl was furious at his red card at Old Trafford.

i very rarely complain about these reviews, but how does a team win the champions league with the best defensive record conceding only 4 goals which i believe is a record for a team that's gone on to win it, get 0 reward for doing so, i was already quite annoyed yesterday with the lack of rises, but waking up today seeing players like Jota, Zinchenko and Maguire get rises please someone make it make sense.

SEGUNDA DIVISION PROSPECTS/RISERS 🇪🇸

Final instalment of this project, very excited to see the outcome when all these leagues get reviewed and more so to see how these players develop next season.

Javi Puado -                            82 -> 85
Yan Couto -                              73 -> 78
Pablo Moreno -                      75 -> 78
Largie Ramazani -                 76 -> 78
Jorge Cuenca -                      82 -> 83
Fran Garcia -                            78 -> 80
Nais Djouahra -                      75 -> 78
Dani Vivian -                            78 -> 80
Alejandro Frances -              80 -> 82
Arnau Martinez -                    73 -> 78

Surprise package of the season is Arnau Martinez (18) who has broke into the first team and played every game since march, potential to be the best riser on this list. Very technically gifted and has given Girona much need defensive security.

Pablo Moreno (18) and Yan Couto (18) both on loan from Manchester City have had a steady season getting much needed experience in Europe. Both should see a steady rise, Couto more than Moreno with him being Girona’s first choice RB this season.

Yan Couto

Nais Djouahra (19) became Xavi Alonso’s first signing in charge of Real Sociedad B, he’s currently been on loan at Mirandes and has been fairly impressive this season. Nais was scouted by Eric Olhats the same scout who recruited Antione Griezmann and Robin Le Normand at Sociedad.

Nais Djouahra

Jorge Cuenca (21) one of the best defenders in Segunda division this season, signed for Villarreal from Barcelona in the summer and was instantly sent out on loan to Almeria. In my opinion he has a huge chance of stepping up to La Liga next season.

Jorge Cuenca

Last but not least Javi Puado (23) who has been getting rave reviews not only in the league but also at the u21 Euro championships, should be a good riser in a few months and will play in La Liga next season with Espanyol where he will rise further.

Cheers Kieran 😁

Away from the madness of today’s rating changes it looks like the Spanish second division is under review, some prediction results from today.

Javi Puado - 82 -> 85

Jorge Cuenca - 82 -> 83

Yan Couto - 73 -> 80

Pablo Moreno - 75 -> 78

Arnau Martinez - 73 -> 76

Fran Garcia - 78 -> 82

CHAMPIONSHIP PROSPECTS/RISERS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Perfect proving ground for many young talents in England, I want to focus on some young players who should see a rise this month or next.

Some of these players will likely return on loan next season or in some cases make the step up to the Premier League.

Marc Guehi -                                82 -> 84
Harvey Elliott -                            82 -> 84
Michael Olise -                            83 -> 83
Taylor Harwood-Bellis -         76 -> 80
Teden Mengi -                             73 -> 76
Oliver Skipp -                               82 -> 84
Nathan Collins -                          82 -> 83
James Garner -                            78 -> 82
Ben Cabango -                             80 -> 83
Han-Noah Massengo -             78 -> 80
Jarrad Branthwaite -                78 -> 80
Joao Pedro -                                 82 -> 84

Blackburn Rovers gained substantially using the loan market bringing in Harvey Elliott (18) Taylor Harwood-Bellis (19) and Jarrad Branthwaite (18) of which all got decent game time. Harvey Elliott being one of the most successful talents in the Championship this season.

Harvey Elliott’s numbers in the Championship:

Minutes - 2758
Goals - 7
Assists - 11

Harvey Elliott

Michael Olise (19) is a name everyone is familiar with and has been attracting much interest, Lille are the most recent team to be linked with the highly rated young French midfielder.

Marc Guehi (20) has come off the back of a very successful loan spell at Swansea City narrowly missing out to Brentford in the play offs. Guehi is a player who I can see in the Premier League next season whether that is on loan or to try the difficult task of forcing his way into the Chelsea team.

Marc Guehi

Along with Guehi, Oliver Skipp (20) is another player who is likely to be playing Premier League football next season. Going back on loan to Norwich wouldn’t be a bad call for him but I think he’s good enough to play at Tottenham Hotspur gradually.

Great in 1v1 situations and an aerial threat going forward, Nathan Collins (18) has a huge future in the game and it’s no surprise to see the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal looking to acquire his services in the summer.

Nathan Collins

On the subject of Manchester United, James Garner (18) has had a very successful loan spell at Nottingham Forest really coming into his own and expressing himself well in the games Ive seen, definite one to watch next season and a loan back to the Championship would be a good move for him.

James Garner (right)

Potentially the end of this little project, maybe Bundesliga 2 is next on the agenda if I can be bothered

Cheers Kieran 😁

Taylor Harwood-Bellis - 76 -> 78
