there seems to be a pattern with these big reviews now where they start off at normal pace, get extremely slow and then just start rushing and do whole leagues in like three days, i'm just hoping as its a bank holiday/ half term here in England that has something to do with the snail pace they're going with at the moment

I agree that Omar Mascarell hasn’t played enough compared to other players who got an 88.  However, according to soccer stat websites like Whoscored.com, he was their best player.

Not to mention, they beat Bayern to the Pokal.

Milito was 93 when he was at Genoa and haven't win anything, when he won the Ch.League with Inter went to 95, Villa was 96 at Valencia, not when he won the Ch.League with Barcelona, there were players like Toni, L.Fabiano and Mutu at 94 lvl, i don't say they were bad players, but i don't think Icardi and Kane should be lower than them, you can see it in every position, not just in the strikers, Ferdinand, Vidic and Puyol were at 96, now the best stopers are 94\95, Eto'o was 97 back in 2007\08, Drogba, Villa, Ibra, Torres and Rooney were 96, now the best strikers are 94\95.

I miss the old rating system, in my opinion it was way better than it is now. Players ratings just used to be based on how good the player was as an individual. Now I really don't understand how they work them. I mean Aubamayang at 95 is still a huge joke to me

Bonaventura or Kampl or Suso? I need CAM for my team. Only they are available 90+. I saw on the first page of this thread that Suso can go up, but is he really going to? I mean his stats are not showing that at the moment... Or is there a player who 100% will go up and be at least 90 (CAM position)

At what age specifically did they got that rating? Icardi could be getting 93 soon, Dybala, Salah and Kane will get their 94, so you have your Tonis, Fabianos and Mutus of this era. You now have two 99 rated players in Messi and Ronaldo(You sure didn't have those at 10 years ago), Suarez at 97, Lewandowski and Neymar at 96 and a crap load of players at 95 and 94 and there is more coming to that rating soon. Yes, there is not a CB at 96 but you there is a couple at 95 and a few at 94. Yes, they downgraded the defenders and to some extent the midfielders a little bit, but the difference is not that much that you would start chanting for the good old days of the high ratings of SM.

Can someone tell me how Naldo from Schalke has not even risen +1 to 91? He's 35 and yet was arguably Schalke's best player as they finished second in the Bundesliga. Beggers belief really :S

 

I also expect them to ignore Quagliarella and leave him at 88, even though he has scored 19 goals ,has had six assists and four man of the match awards this season.

Naldo gets snubbed for Brasil, therefore he gets snubbed by SM.

to achieve 90+ a player must have international success be it club or country (usually both).

There will always be discussion on SM ways reviewing players...its hard to please everyone...but imo icardi deserves better rating than salah..ok salah had amazing season but if he gets 93,94 icardi should be 94,95..icardi is consistent for years now..probably effected by not going to russia..also depay (though i have him in squad)should stay 90 and get +1 if he plays well next season or half season too..there are other examples as well but these two had some discussions earlier

Relax. Schalke haven't been reviewed yet. At least give it 2-3 days before you bash them.

Schalke haven't been done yet but he's not going to get 91 anyway. Age + team + no international gametime.

Icardi needs to prove himself in the big stage yet, he didn't play a single game in Champions League and he has to play regularly for the NT to be higher(he has only 4 games for Argentina) than those you compare him with.

You get a free GW after you've been playing for 4 weeks, then it seems to throw out the odd one randomly, so I'm not sure when you'll next get one. If you buy extra slots you have them indefinitely. Credits can be used instead of cash in the SM shop, and also if you're not a gold member you can use them for features like scouting.
