What's the potencial rate of:
Maitland-Niles
Rubén Dias
Malang Sarr
Yann Karamoh
Toni Lato and
Luiz Felipe (Lazio)

Tricky given so many of them are backups and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Ruben Dias and Luiz Felipe are the only two who are starters. Gaya has signed a long contract at Valencia so will be tough for Lato to play many games, while it looks like Sarr will be backup for Nice again as they're signing Christophe Herelle.

He made his debut for Stromsgodset.

He played for them in a friendly against the Norway under 19s! He was never signed to them! He's done 2 friendly/charity games and that's all.

So, will someone like Guillermo Varela (Uruguay) get a rating change? Played 180 minutes so far and solid. Ex Man Utd player now at Peñarol, but killing it there too.

That review It's mostly for the standout performers of the tournament. Anyway, he might, depending how far Uruguay get. But don't really expect rating increases for 2 or 3 games in the world cup, there is 7 possible games in the WC, most of the rating changes would come from the teams that play in the later stages.

On another note, Luka Modric just sealed his 96 in my opinion, i was already a supporter of him getting 96 before, but with these  WC games before the Real Madrid review, i think he will get it. Modric is head and shoulders above the other 95 rated players in the game, with the exception of maybe DeBruyne, but that one still has a bit to go, but he might get there.

Messi -1!!!!!!!!!

Ahahahaha, joking... hmmm, not joking, Ronaldo was 98 once when Messi was 99 already, so it wouldn't be that unfair that a difference in rating, but it won't happen for now, and i don't think he really deserves it at the moment.

It wouldn't be that unfair? lol It would seriously damage the credibility of SM ratings to have Messi below Ronaldo. Barcelona's Messi led La Liga domination counts for ALOT as he totally ran the show, finished 17 points ahead of Ronaldo's Madrid over the major test of a 38 game season, scored 8 more goals, with 7 more assists in the top ranked league in the world. Having them both 99 is the way it should stay.

Blaming Messi when Sampaoli started Caballero and Meza as starters.... It's Argentina lost.. Messi had nothing to do with this team (Caballero?? Meza?? Salvio??) Sampaoli didn't even take Icardi with them. Higuain, Dybala didnt even start this game I was be like !

Messi won La Liga alone. He's been the best player in the world so far since Ronaldo left United. No debate.

For the WC players will be reviewed according to performances and media attention. Number of minutes do not and should not count.

Modric 96 ? nop he is too old soon 33 years... if modric deserves the 96, so busquets would have had 97 after 8 years of very high level ( win wc, x2 euro...)

if croatia wins the wc, we will speak again

LOL, Isn't this a Ratings Thread? Anyway, i knew i would hit some nerves with that one, people don't even read it all, they just saw  Messi -1 and went berserk.

If i remember correctly Buffon got a rating increase in 2017, when he was a grandpa already, so there is hope.

Busquets didn't win two European Championships though, Marcos Senna was the defensive midfielder in 2008, but again you might not have see seen the tournament, so it's okay.

Busquets is maxed out at 95, he's not better player than that.

Not blaming Messi, he just didn't do much, like the rest of the team, i'm not saying it's his fault. I posted some time ago that Argentina defense would be their doom, and it was. Icardi would not do much difference there, Coatia has very good players too, they are very well organized and the coach seems to know what he's doing.
