Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but it has the most traffic so here goes.

If a player is on loan to a club and that club signs him permanently what happens to the player on SM? Is he a free agent at the end of the season or just automatically becomes a squad player at the club?

Thanks

Welcome, Matthaios96

The player who has been permanently signed by his loan club would likely become a squad player for that particular club as he is in real life.

On SM the loan club would make a bid for him from his former club to transfer him over asap, or at the end of the season (not to sure when the transfer for the player is done).

Thoughts on Nicolò Barella and his ultimate potential? Do you guys think he can be a 94+ player in the future?

94+? Hang on a minute Crociato87, none of us can really predict right now. He is yet to kick a ball for a elite European side.

He is heavily linked to Inter. :(

Although I certainly think he can possibly get up to a 92 in the future.

Oblak and Akanji for Alisson? I offered Oblak in a straight swap for Alisson, and he came back with Oblak and Akanji.

I would offer Oblak and cash if it's possible to get Alisson that way.

If not then accept the swap for Oblak and Akanji. I understand as a Liverpool fan you'd prefer Alisson as your GK.

Hey as long as it doesn't weaken you defensively.

Outside chance of a +1 for Marcos Llorente after his move to Atletico?

I would think so, he went for €40M if i'm not mistaken, not bad for a player who only made 7 apps all season. I'm sure at A.M he will get much more game time, with Rodri possibly being sold.

I guess Zidane prefered F.Valverde to M.Llorente

OH. Okay.

Since you want Alisson because you support Liverpool then i think he should offer Alisson + Akanji + Cash.

IMO

Haha. Good one. 🤔

I'd rather include a player than offer Oblak and cash (want to keep my money for future transfers). I have a lot of RB/CB cover, so I can afford to include Akanji in the deal. Tempted to offer Zinchenko though, see if he likes that.

Why stop at Vidic? Bring on Maldini's stats

“If I have to make a tackle then I have already made a mistake.” - Paolo Maldini... VvD is very much from the same school of defending as him!

They've surely missed Stones...

He's hardly played since the last review & when he did he had a nightmare for England, 91 is right for him.

Koulibaly + Moise Kean = De Ligt

Which side and why?

Koulibaly & Kean easily, I wouldn't even offer Koulibaly for De Ligt, he's one of the best CBs in the world. Kean has lots of promise, keep him.

Dybalas not had a good season while Sanchos been brilliant. Its a bad deal

Flip side to that is your basing everything on 1 season, okay let's do that...

Sancho has had 1 outstanding season, Dybala has had 1 poor one. What's to say it wont be the exact opposite next season?

Dybala is a very interesting problem, hes basically hamstrung by 2 of the best players the game has ever seen, at club level Juve have completely change the style to suit CR7 (tbh I thought Higuain-Dybala was working quite well) and at international level Argentina is built around Messi!

I'd still have Dybala, hes proved hes world class in the last 4-5 seasons, Sancho (whilst hes been brilliant) still has it all to prove
