Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

pressed enter by accident on that post, now in terms of player ratings i'll comment on all who apart of the first team, starting with

Kepa - this guy has been very poor this season and there are even reports of Chelsea looking for a replacement already i wouldn't hang your hopes on him he looks average in all honesty, won't drop but i'd look to sell if you have in any GW

Zouma - started off really badly but then brought it back our best defender in my opinion but not sure if he's done enough to get 90 in the winter. 50/50

Tomori - has surprised many with his performances, very bright future but also a lot to improve his incredible pace gets him out of trouble most times reminds me a of a young Varane in that sense. +2

Emerson - started off really good, but has not looked the same since he came back from injury plus says it all when Lampard plays Azpi there even when he's been fit at times. no rise

Alonso- Terrible player, has been so bad and rumours of him leaving in Jan as hes been frozen out. -1

James- very good crosser, powerful and strong will be RB for years to come. +2/3

Rudiger- just come back from injury so no rise for now.

Azpi -a liability in my opinion but should keep rating for now

Kovacic - has been our best and most consistent performer playing amazing. should get a rise but lack of goals and assists might not get him there depends on sm but a must buy if he is available in your GW. 50/50

Jorginho - hes been very good at times and the team generally plays better with him in the team, very weak physically and slow. no rise

Kante - our best midfielder, but has had a few niggling injuries so not got a proper run of games under his belt yet. no rise

Mount - started very well, but shouldn't be a starter now plays as a second striker now, great presser, good eye for goal too. +2

Pulisic - started off very poor, then hit a very good run of form and has slowed down lately but has done enough to get 90 imo. +1

Willian- don't know how he still is 92, no end product, terrible set pieces, will keep rating for now as he's playing. no rise/fall

CHO - was excellent for a few games right after he came back, now has been in very bad form does'nt deserve to rise off of chelsea form but could still get a +1 unsure on that one.

Tammy Abraham - has been very good, has all the tools to be a top striker, has been starved of service lately so not scoring as much as he was earlier in the season, give him enough chances he will bag goals. +1 for sure, but can see him getting 89

Giroud/Pedro - not regulars anymore and will most likely be sold in January both should be 90, Giroud might keep it due to France form though. -1

Michy/Barkley/Christensen - all apart of first team but not played enough to rise and not been bad enough to go down none likely to succeed at Chelsea.

the team as a whole have lost 4 of their last 5 in the league but due to the nature of their age and already low ratings their are some good risers for the winter window, all of these are my own opinion from watching very game this season either at home or in the stadium

^ crazy what a month in football can do especially Christmas time in England with so many games got most spot on, apart from drops of Willian and Azpi thought they would survive due to how many games they’ve played but rightfully dropped as both have been pretty bad. Zouma was a mainstay at the time of writing but has lost his place to Christensen who has been very good since he’s come back in.

Julian brandt or naby keita?

Julian Brandt (23) (91) Advanced Playmaker - Winger type: A regular for B.Dortmund.

Naby Keita (24) (91) Playmaker - Midfielder type: Not yet a regular starter for Pool.

Naby is 5 years younger than veterans: J.Hendo, Wiji, and J.Milner.I reckon in about 2 years time Naby will be able to replace one of them 3 for more regular game-time in Pool's midfield.

But in the mean-time he must overcome his injury problems, get more use to playing PL football. There's also the possibly addition of M.Grujic and the OX 🐂 standing in his way as well.

I hate to admit it, even as a causal MU fan that Naby plays for probably the best team in the World right now, under a great manager. So if you can be patient too see how Naby does then I recommend you choose Naby Keita.

Rashford or 40mil Maddison and Jovic???

Right now I would certainly take the duo + cash - but only if losing Rashford won't be too much of a big miss for you (current performances level for your club), also consider that Rash will eventually hit 92 before the likes of L.Jovic (who needs more game-time at RM) and J.Maddison.

Having said that I'm sure the 40M will come in very handy for you to strengthen your team in other areas. :)

Should I get rid of Ben Chilwell? I already have these Full backs; Lucas Hernández, Wan-Bissaka, Achraf Hakimi, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James and Max Aarons.

Also, do any of you think Joe Gomez has done enough to perhaps warrant a +1 or even +2?

I reckon J.Gomez has done enough for a +1.

I'm sure RobboEFC would agree with me that you should get rid of B.Chilwell. Although as -

!¡BµKa🔑 mentioned: wait to see if he rises, first.

For LB you will have A.Hakimi and L.Hernandez, so you should be 👌 without B.Chilwell.

i now con confirm my opinion about those guys doing ratings on something they don't know, have no idea neither clue, never played and possibly watched distracted while playing on PS4, drinking some beer and smoking God knows what. because only a pot head can make something like this, and i don't want to make another list of player misrated like everyone is doing here, i'm just saying that watching statistics doesn't mean you know football, mean only you are a nerd good on math. so i have advice for those smoky pimply nerd heads, i give you an exercise: watch one football match whatever league in the world at least once in a week, i'm not pretending you should go to the stadium, that's too much i know, just turn on your tv, turn off phone and any other device and watch some football guys, because what you are doing has nothing to do with football.

Keep Ben Chiwell till tomorrow cause Liecester's review isn't done yet. (Only 3 players have been done).

Joe Gomez might get +1 keep him till Tuesday to find out.

Extremely good advice from Ibuka, spot on!

Swiki: Didn't see any Championship clubs going thru this morning, but it is Sunday, sleepy sunday.... "Lazy Sunday Afternoon, got no time to worry, close my eyes and drift away...." .  First one to spot who said that??? Won't be a younger person I'd Guess.

ManU might not be finished. Not too many Premiership to come but interesting ones ...Cheers Socca

Why are my posts hidden now?

Quoted my preds twice with this text, both posts are hidden.

As a Utd fan, I can live with most of the changes. De Gea was surprising but 93 is probably his level now. Rashford no 92 is sad but he'll get it eventually.

What surprises me is Andreas. I know he hasn't been great but minutes played was a sure guarantee of at least a +1 I thought. Doesn't deserve 88 now certainly but 87 is fair for someone playing nearly 2000 minutes so far.

Seems to happen with long posts. Mods can help you out (haven't had to ask them in quite a while so idk if that's still the case).

Small faces! do I win a prize? I only remember it as a "hit from the 60's" not when it came out in 1968 as I was busy being born that year!

YES You do and it's 2 things a " Celebrated Soccer Manager Like" and 4 lines from the Small Faces Hit Record Lyric of "Lazy Sunday Afternoon"........

Wouldn't it be nice, to get on with me neighbours
But they make it very clear, they've got no room for ravers
They stop me from groovin', they bang on me wall
They're doing me crust in, it's no good at all, ah!

Don't tell everybody you've won such fantastic Double-Barreled Prize. It's just for you and everyone else on this Forum MUST NOT LOOK at the Lyric OR try to steal your precious "Like"...😆😋😋😍

Regret there is no 2nd prize for liking the Album Kev that's next weeks prize....😮🤐😝😒

Do I get a prize for spotting that you got the lyrics wrong? It's "I got no mind to worry", not "time" ;)

Exchange verratti for coutinho because i need offensive player ...it's interessant ?

Coutinho seems like a very good option as he is also rated 94 as well, but consider this: he has now been dropped to the bench, and only being used as a sub - I would therefore consider an alternative player (if their manager will do a swap with you).

The article below will explain more:

https://www.90min.com/posts/6544389-bayern-back-to-their-best-but-philippe-coutinho-is-pushed-further-out-of-the-picture

I reckon if his performances don't improve, especially against the stronger teams, then he could be at a (deserved) risk of being dropped to a 93 in the Summer.

I'm not too sure what kind of offensive player you are after, so I would swap M.Verratti for either:

C.Eriksen, H.M.Son, P.Dybala, S.Niguez or B.Silva. The bold ones being the best options. :)

Any decent left backs out there between 85-88 rating and can improve?

The one I'm thinking at the moment is Robert Skov.

Anyone else?

"Left backs". I'm guessing you are after at least 2 LB's, so If you can get any 2 from this lot:

S.Regulion, K.Tierney, T.Hernandez, M.Sarr, G.Arana, R.Skov or L.Martinez. Go for the ones in bold (if they are available to you). :)

Help guys, de gea and hazard for Allison? Thoughts on this? I have Allison.

Hi, sorry for the delay, I personally do not rate GK ratings that highly, ie a 95 rated GK seems to be just as likely to have a 5 rated poor game as a lower rated one. I once played a 78 rated GK in a team full of 89/90 rated players and still won the league.

I would go for the two players as you could always sell hazard later

78 rated! I also don't give much importance to gk ratings, but 78 is bold!

Another update:
Keri and her daugther Alyssa. An ex-base ball coach John Altobelli and basketbal coach Christina Mauser. Sarah and Payton Chester were also in the helicopter. Ara Zobayan was the pilot.

All of them didn't survive. :( R.I.P !

Another news:
Maybe you guys don't know him, but Robbie Rensenbrink (72) also passed away this weekend. :( I never saw him playing, but according to a lot of fans he was one of the best players Belgium knew in our competition.

R.I.P, Robbie.
