Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

is good idea to buy players of az alkmaar?

boadu, idrissi, koopmeiners, stengs,  wuytens...

Wuytens not needed. Boadu, Koopmeiners and Idrissi for sure. Stengs also interesting, but not in top form at the moment. Depends on if you have a squad of low ratings or high ratings.

If you have a squad of low ratings, just put him on your wishlist. If not, you can buy him, but you need to have patience. He still has potential

Hey guys, Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Ricardo Pereira ?

As we are aware AWB is not on R.Pereira level. Though he has certainly shown very good potential at Man United, and can improve further as a player and his rating on SM in the later future.

Is it worth giving Lucas Moura + Ozan Kabak for Cristiano Ronaldo? For the short-term:)

For the short term I would certainly go for C.Ronaldo: (right now) he's too high rated of a player to miss out on.

If you can get him and play him well - he will then only add more strength (goals and assists) to your team for the next few seasons to come.

I actually play him out on the left side in my 4-3-3 formation (the narrow one). He's the playmaker for our targetman Striker. He's currently my top performer (even though he's 35, and his recent drop). Not that it's a too much of a surprise. :)

SWIKI: has moved on (I hoped for better) BUT to The English Division 1:- Bolton and Southend in the relegation zone at the moment... (sigh!)

Latest Upload  (Portugal)  Below:-

Remember this is my first spreadsheet predictions for Portugal so the accuracy is unlikely to be as good as BIG5 predictions. I have to find SM's 0%Line and adjust for the next review. Hopefully my estimation, won't be critically out this first time.

Previous tables on pages 777, 779, 780, 781, 782, 783, 784.785,786,787, 788, 789, 790, 791,792,793, 794,795,796,797,798,799,800,801,803,804,805.806,807,808,810,811,812,813,814.816,817,818,819,821,822,823,824,825,826,827,828,829,830,831.832,833,834,835.836,837,839,841,842,844,845,855, 866  Be careful of the Reddish boxes where the higher rated players are more inclined towards performances rather than stats.

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Hopefully SM will get around to this b4 too long now. Portugal was last reviewed I think in February 2019 and before that March 2018 which is 11months. On that basis it could be said, should have been reviewed b4 now.

Let's hope they don't keep us waiting much longer. I did look at Famalicao but probably there best prospects P Goncalves and G Assuncao both got pitiful +1 rises very recently, one of them on the 9th, just 2days ago. Could be a waste of time, so we will see if that's all they give. Hard to predict SM on that basis, hope they are not as pitiful, with the above TOP Clubs.

Thanks to all and appreciate the interest, Cheers Socca

It looks good. But I think u missed Jesus Corona...im expecting a +1 for him.

Luis Maximiano is missing too. New starting keeper for the upcoming years (new Rui Patricio).

P. Gonçalves and Assunção will get another rise for sure.

Vitor Ferreira was given a +5 too. (hot prospect).

Vlachodimos, Taarabt, Marchesin and Mateus Uribe could get a +1 too.

Nice job

Thanks TM for the extra info above and your kind remarks, much appreciated. I can tell those who don't know that U are something of an expert on Portugal and a number of other countries, so I hope forumers will take these into account too, cheers for this 🙂

I do however myself try to keep the tables compact and in line with the "I am concentrating..." paragraph in each of my posts. I mainly exclude Gk's (Luis Maximiano and Vlachodimos) , Taarabt is 30, Marchesin 31, Mateus Uribe 28, Jesus Corona 27 and Vitor Ferreira as u point out has already been reviewed just 3 or 4 days ago. These comments are NOT meant in anyway to be critical, just me justifying why I excluded them. I will be continuing to exclude "the lesser possible profitable risers such as these again in my tables". It's my own fault because I do sometimes include GK's and older players but it is not too often I hope.

Ps Swiki continue today with Tranmere, Wimbledon, MK Dons and Rochdale all in lowest 6 of English Division 1 (Sigh!)

TM Costa's X Files are recommended and  can be found here, with lots of great Info:-

Had a lot of trouble adapting the mechanics of the spreadsheet to NEW Countries and in particularly the much smaller clubs (Rapid Vienna and St Gallen). Did try a number of others but they weren't suitable. Though they all seem worthy of rises, predicting on the basis of "BIG 5 predictions" is not ideal but it will be fascinating to see how close or far-out they end up.

Might be Friday b4 I have a look at more from Russia. Thanks again for your interest.... Cheers Socca

Really thinking of selling Tammy Abraham. Do you any of you suggest I keep him? I really don’t see him developing to great heights and being as good as a Dybala, Cavani or Suarez

He has potential to be a top striker, just depends if he can mould his game to do so, keep for now until after euros as he is undisputed starter for Chelsea and could start for England at euros if Kane is not fit enough,

Wouldn't sell him he should be hitting the 90s next season as long he keeps his place up front, which is a good chance with Frank Lampard being there coach.

Could be up top for England in summer as well depending on how Kane does with his injury. Although I do think that Danny Ings is England’s best striker at the minute form wise, he’s doing well for Southampton but wether or not he can do the same with England I’m unsure on.

All in all Don’t think Arbraham will reach the level of Cavani or Suarez but could improve well in the future.
