Netherlands going thru SWiki Math.

Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

Many thanks Sir Rahul, great to have u back again 😀 Your advice on the "Red Boxes" is very welcome. Spreadsheet is pretty close to being accurate on all but the "Red Boxes" which is where it falls down badly in the majority of cases. There just there to give the Predictive Stats side, which is why I wrap them up in "Red Boxes" Your insight into these is great.

This will be a great spot if it is SIR, I looked and just saw the continuation of Netherlands, didn't notice the promoted club.

Review of last 2 club, Portugal review predictions:-

Results-Porto-Sport-Cp1.png

Happy with Porto obviously BUT not that close on Sporting CP. Still working on random stats of Big5 and when I have enough I'll post another, but not likely to be today. It's slow going changing players on spreadsheet from first half of season to 2nd review stage ie only using stats since SM last review dates for each player.

Thanks again for your interest and support, Cheers Socca 😃

Apparently it will be the Dutch review! I didn't spot it

Werner easily imo.

Son or Bernardo Silva

Bernardo has had a disappointing season by his standards but I'd still choose him, It's very close though and it could come down to whether you need an attacker or midfielder more.

Arthur + Son for De Bruyne ?

That's a heavy price to pay but I guess it's worth it for KDB, keeping in mind whoever replaces Son as your winger/attacker isn't too low rated.

Mikel Merino or Jonathan Ikone?
both +1 next review?

Halstenberg+1?

Both are good, probably Ikone has a higher ceiling but I see Merino hitting 90 first, although I can see a +1 for them in next review yeah, again depends on what you need more.

Halstenberg deserves it imo yeah..

Havertz od Arthur?

Havertz by far the bigger talent so him.

Ilicic Papu Gomez and Zapata to rise?,

Ilicic got one recently so not anytime soon unless football resume and Atalanta pull off another miracle with him being brilliant again.

Gomez it will be hard at this age too, He's a class player but to get a rise now he would need a performace like Illicic which generates a lot of hype, or maybe Atalanta going far in UCL if football resumes, otherwise no.

Zapata, I doubt it because he has been injured for a large part of the season, maybe in the future he can but now.

I don’t know how they’ll do these reviews for the Big 5 leagues.

Obviously Portugal, Holland etc were long overdue so they had data / games to assess these reviews.

Theres been few games since the last review for the Big 5.

Delayed, I guess. Plenty of leagues they can get through first (all those with a review once a year).

Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Greece, Czech Republic, Croatia, Scotland.

They also have MLS, Argentina and Mexico (?).

2nd Part and final Clubs I'm predicting for Netherlands below all updated:-

Remember this is my first spreadsheet predictions for Netherlands  so the accuracy is unlikely to be as good as BIG5 predictions. I have to find SM's 0%Line and adjust for the next review. Hopefully my estimation, won't be critically out this first time.

Previous tables on pages 777, 779, 780, 781, 782, 783, 784.785,786,787, 788, 789, 790, 791,792,793, 794,795,796,797,798,799,800,801,803,804,805.806,807,808,810,811,812,813,814.816,817,818,819,821,822,823,824,825,826,827,828,829,830,831.832,833,834,835.836,837,839,841,842,844,845,855,856,857.860,864,866, 867.868,871,872,873,875,876 877 Be careful of the Reddish boxes where the higher rated players are more inclined towards performances rather than stats.

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Without-Gron.png

Hope above is of interest. Hope your all coping and staying strong in these extraordinary times, Cheers Socca 😃

Ps I'm finding being self- isolating means I am much more busy than ever

Pps I have 3 grown-up children and 4 now grand-children with 2 on the way. Everyone is chipping in getting me Food supplies etc. Supermarket deliveries I use are now backed up to MAY! So it's organising who gets me what and when. Also I'm being asked for news on the Virus and what the government plans mean for them (Self employed, employed, laid off etc etc.) I'm on the phone or texting all the time it seems. When they deliver we talk thru my front window for ages too.

Calvin Stengs or Malen? What we expecting in rise ?

Werner facilement imo.

Hey guys, what's your opinion on Moussa Dembélé (Lyon) ? Has he the potential for 92 for example ?

He's a good striker, I guess at Lyon 91 is the most he will reach, but if he moves in the summer(which looks likely) he could eventually reach 92 if he does well, IMO yeah he has the potential to reach 92 and I'd say that's around his ceiling, but a lot depends on his next move.

Overall Digne is (slightly) the better player. Though so far this season Bernat has (just about) performed the better out of the two.

Arthur and umtiti or allan and aubameyang for Firmino??? As long it doesn't weaken you too much in midfield and in defence, and you are able to give Auba enough game time to keep him happy - then go for Firmino.

I live this player(firmino).
