A new risers thread

They're on to Japan now, but this lad has been completely missed. Probably the best riser to get in the review, with nearly 2,500 minutes of football last season for Ulsan side that did really well. Have they decided to not increase him for some reason, or is this just an error?

They missed many risers in Korea. A really poor review.

What do you reckon the best bet for me in terms of this lad. Stick it out and hope that he's given a rating increase at some point randomly, or cut my losses and let him go? When players are missed like this, do they tend not to get reviewed until there league is next reviewed?

If they miss a player from a review, they do sometimes go back and fix the mistake a week or two later. They missed so many risers from Korea though that I can't really see that happening.

As the next Korean review probably won't be for a year, I personally won't be holding onto anyone for any length of time.

I had Roger Assale in my team last year who was due a rise in the Swiss league but was completely missed. He was finally reviewed a few weeks ago at long last and given a plus 5.

So it does happen but depends if you have the patience. I didn't TBH.

Julio Gonzalez

Santiago ROJAS GK  75>80 Starting keeper all last season

Robert ROJAS D(C)  78>83 Top 3 club last season & NT call up

Juan ESCOBAR D(RC)  75>80 NT call up & capped in Friendly, $1m move to power club Cerro Porteno

Alan BENÍTEZ D,DM,M(R)  78>84 NT call up, key right back for Libertad ( Apertura Champion)

Raul CÁCERES D,DM,M(R) 76>84 No rise since 2011, undisputed RB, last season Clausura Champion with                             Cerro Porteno, NT call up

Ivan RAMÍREZ DM,M(C) 78>82 Rotation midfielder for Apertura champions Libertad, NT call ups

Ángel LUCENA M(C) 80>83 well used midfielder for Apertura champions Libertad, NT call ups

Richard SÁNCHEZ M(RLC) 77>82 Starting midfielder for Olimpia (4th & 2nd last season)

Óscar RUÍZ AM(RLC) 80>84 Last rise 2015, gone on to have 2 full campaigns, scoring double figures from midfield, last season Clausura Champion with Cerro Porteno

Josue COLMÁN AM(RLC) 77>82 Moved to MLS after key season with Clausura champions Cerro Porteno

Ricardo BOGARÍN AM,F(RL) 76>82 key player & 14 goals last season for mid table side Sporting Luqueno

Walter BOGADO AM(RLC),F(RL) 76>80 young prospect at Olimpia, (4th & 2nd last season)

Derlis ALEGRE AM,F(RL) 77>80 Key Starter at Sporting Luqueno last season

I might go over each club and do a whole review myself, and hopefully SM read it and act. The league is so out of date, many of the top players are rated 82/83 whilst former stalwarts are still at 85

I did it years ago for Slovenia and Slovakia and low and behold they got done

I found a fair few more that should be done, having seen the latest Paraguay NT for a game against USA

Juan Rodrigo Rojas 83>85

A look at Olimipa, the runaway leaders they have some very underrated players

Richard Ortiz (this one is farcical, listed still with Toluca but he left nearly 2 years ago. stay 85.

Nestor Camacho 82> 85, probably of the best midfielders in the league

Juan Patino 83>84

Jose Leguizamon 82>84

William Mendieta 82>84/85

Alfredo Aguilar 83>84

Guarani's Luis De La Cruz, last rose +5 to 80 in 2012, since has played 163 league games! 83

What i also may think has happened is people have been trying to review leagues in their own time so transferring players etc

couple days ago there were about 3500 edits sitting there on SW, therefore that means players are 'locked' in a state of pending, so until SM sort out the user submission, then they wont be able to review the rating

Something has started to happen, seen the submissions tumbled to 2108 as i write this, and we have seen about 4 clubs reviewed in Japan, when we have been getting 1 or 2 a day for several weeks.

finally might be progressing again.

I bought Bruno Xadas from Sporting Braga for 2m as a 78, he rises +5 to 83 but his value is only 2.4m now

what? i dont understand how players are valued any more

Basically, some hyped players rise in value even before they are reviewed. I remember Xadas being available for 600k so if you paid 2m then I'm afraid that you were late to the party.

If you use the player search function then you can see the regular price for any player depending on their age and rating.

ah so he was hyped/over valued at 78 but then went normal value as an 83? surely he should still be hyped?

just comparing him to frenkie de jong both 20/83 with recent +5 and de jong is 3m and xadas 2.4m

When I say hyped/overvalued, I mean in comparison to his rating.

2.4m is the normal rating for someone who is 20/83. Xadas's value may rise to 3m (as many other players have) depending on his performances/hype/how many managers buy him etc.

Do you not think Samassekou is worth an 87?  He has been absolutely excellent this season, especially in the Europa league run, and the Salzburg rating cap shouldn't limit him either (Dabbur is 87). Feel like he would deserve it.

Also, do you think there's any chance Hwang Hee-Chan has a chance of 86? He's also been crucial to their successful season.

Anything's possible. I always try to be conservative with the predictions...

Hwang hasn't always been a regular starter this season though.
