Rises to 82 for a team in the relegation zone of France's Ligue 2??? At the same time they gave Madatov, who helped Qarabag into the Champions League group stage, a +1 to 79. Those 'generous' rises for Prevot & Duvrene were overdue from last season, not just about statistics, they are genuine talents, hardly a joke, just taking into account the time from when these players were last reviewed.... Lens just missed promotion on the last day of the season if you recall, the top 6 clubs all had a shot at automatic promotion. Lens were robbed by a 90th min goal in the Reims v Amiens game

Most Championship squads have a higher average rating that all the Ligue 2 squads anyhow. All the promoted Ligue 2 sides have starters rated 78-83. Championship 82-85. The gulf is already there? Unless you know the specific players in the Championship who were overlooked? Even so, if Ligue 2 is being reviewed, then the Championship will follow suit which would nullify the complaint about inconsistency?

Even so, if Ligue 2 is being reviewed, then the Championship will follow suit which would nullify the complaint about inconsistency? There were several other players early in the review. Anyway, I made my point at the time and I stand by it. On the same day that Madatov got a +1 to 79 for helping his team to reach the group stage of the Champions League, a bunch of players got much bigger rises (and have since) for mediocre French teams. It struck me as preposterous then and it strikes me as preposterous now, but I am over it. I hope that the Championship will also be included in the review this year. Last winter it wasn't. Huggy 47
I would be surprised if Alli got a +1, he's looked incredibly pedestrian this season for Tottenham, (been better their last 2 matches when playing deeper and ironically scored) also hasn't played a single game in the Champions league yet due to his suspension from last season. For me Eriksen is far more likely to get a +1, been outstanding for both Tottenham and Denmark, scored in his last 5 WCQ - Albeit some have been penalty's, really in the form of his life. All that said i still think it's unlikely he would rise mid season (though not impossible). So for me Eriksen and Kane are 50/50 to rise mid season but certain to rise at the end of the season if they keep playing the way they are. Alli needs to step it up if he is to rise, though there's plenty of matches to do it in and he's more than capable of doing it too. All depends on how generous SM are feeling. P.S Thanks for the predictions Dot I Dot

The only other 2 were Oliver Kemen & Arnaud Nordin, both on loan from Ligue 1 clubs, both youth internationals. Id say overlooking a 20 year old Azeri isnt inconsistent, but i see the point, Gara Garayez got to 82 but he is a stalwart international. Qarabag, and Maribor will have to be looked at again after they are dumped from the competition having been rolled over. Madatov +1 to 80.

And the reviews of both Serbia and Ligue 2 do prove at the very least that it is still very worthwhile shopping for bargains in the lesser leagues. Lots of players tripling or quadrupling in value.
