Ross.DAFC85 1,931
Well as the title says, its Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb! All experienced managers with the latter two more commonly known for their scouting of the up and coming superstars, but Ross should not be underestimated - with some background on the youth of today. Teb's experience is also going to be a factor in the outcome! All have taken Bristol City - Ross(EC744) v Tom(EC743) v Mark(EC745) v Teb(EC???) - and are looking to take the current Division two side to new heights. It will be well speculated here on the SM Forum. Enjoy.... !

Harewood and Krkic will be partnering each other up front for this season, maybe Trundle gets a game or two. Ross.DAFC85 1,931
Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb BRISTOL CITY NEWS Since the arrival of boss Ross Philp, no fewer than 21 faces have came through the Ashton Gate gate . Most are the young and able, who will feature more in seasons to come rather than this current season. However, there are other experienced players there too, with certainly more signings on the way as Bristol aim for D1. Soriano Bruno - £375,000 from Villareal Brignoni Jonas - £125,000 from Boulogne Fathi Harek - £300k from Bastia Simon Pontdeme - £350,000 from Niort Mourad Benhamida - £250,000 from Montpellier Charles Kabore - £350,000 from Marseille Benoit Lesoimier - £200,000 from Clermont Vincent Muratori - £375,000 from Monaco Hatem Ben Arfa - £5,400,000 from Lyon Franck Chaussidiere - £40,000 from Laval Paul Baysse - £10,000 from Bordeaux Moustapha Bayal Sall - £1,400,000 from Saint Etienne Miralem Pjanic - £15,000 from Metz Adil Rami - £90,000 from Lille David N'Gog - £125,000 from Paris Saint-Germain Chris Malonga - £250,000 from Nancy Moussa Sissoko - £375,000 from Toulouse Gilles Binya - £1,200,000 from Benfica Conceicao Emerson - £40,000 from Lille Gonul Gokhan - £10,000 from Fenerbahce Oliveira Romeu Ribeiro - £200,000 from Benfica With those signings, City will hope to give promotion a right go and are hopeful of landing Giovani Dos Santos, Krikic Bojan, Diego Capel and Federico Fazio before the season starts. A bidding war over the few days still sees all four players still at their rightful clubs. Pereira Neves DENILSON arrived on loan from Arsenal for the season and will captain the side in Philp's first season at Ahston Gate. The Brazilian will hope to develop as a player in Bristol, with little playing time achieved at the Gunners so far this year. The Original Gooner

He moved to Desp. Aves(2nd league) in a loan of Benfica.. the 2nd portuguese league isn't very (high) rated( in SM too, we have only few players in few teams and the most of them are in wrong club..). I think he there will not increase his value, at least not with big impact. With him gone also Miguel Vitor and Yu Dabao.. Btw tebthereb why you bought Nuno Claro? Insider 11,470
Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb And now, finally, my turn. For the record, Bojan went for 5.0 in mine. Waaaay too much with my budget. Even though I still have 11.9 in my pocket, more than I started with OUT Ivan Sproule - 7.0 - Ipswich ( oooo he sold his best player ) IN (LOAN) Michael Johnson - Man City Andy Van Der Meyde - Everton Theo Walcott - Arsenal IN (PERMANENT) Charles Kabore - Marseille - 325 k Miralem Pjanic - Metz - 20k Carlos Navarro Montoya - Olimpo - 10k Oliveira Romeu Ribeiro - Benfica - 200k Felipe Bruno Pinheiro - Boavista - 300k Lorenzo De Silvestri - Lazio - 1.0 Sanchez Angel Montoro - Valencia - 300k Niguez Aaron - Xerez - 550k Diego Buonanotte - River - 200k Macauley Chrisantus - Hamburg - 350k Dumitru Copil - Hearts - 300k Vincent Muratori - Monaco - 350k Scott Arfield - Falkirk - 700k Sebastian Giovinco - Juventus - 1.5 Gonul Gokhan - Fenerbahce - 10k Ramos Edson - AEK - 100k Andre Ayew - Marseille - 200k Paul Baysse - Bordeaux - 10k Stephane Ruffier - Monaco - 175k Luis Marcelo Lulinha - 550k Axel Witsel - Standard - 1.6 + P/E Mohamed Ali - Sivasspor - 70k dos Santos Giovani - Barcelona - 1.4 + Adriano Julian Vara - 175k - Celta So far, lineup looks like this : ------------------------Navarro Montoya----------------------- Orr------------Vasko-----------------Fontaine----------McAllister Walcott----------Johnson----------Witsel-------------Van Der Meyde ----------------------Giovani-----Giovinco---------------------- Hopefully the Gio's up front are enough to get us promotion

tebthereb 3,129
Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb How are people doing for average first team ratings? At a glance yours looks superior Mark. Mine at this moment (will change soon!): ------------------------B Adriano (79)------------------------------- -------Vasko (84)----------Weir (87)----------Tarnat (88)------------ ---------------------------Elliott (80)------------------------------ Sproule (85) ------- Murray (80)------- McIndoe (82)--------Nani (89) --------------------Trundle (80)-----Giovinco (80)------------------ Nani is (obviously I guess) on loan. Should have a few more additions to the first team soon, i hope, but only have £4.5m in the bank now. Sorry if i will interfere.. but i don't think that in a recent future Romeu Ribeiro will be a good worth. He moved to Desp. Aves(2nd league) in a loan of Benfica.. the 2nd portuguese league isn't very (high) rated( in SM too' date=' we have only few players in few teams and the most of them are in wrong club..). He isn't playing in Cluj.. :s Or you just needed a Gk better that you have?..[/quote'] To be honest I bought Romeu Ribeiro to make short term profit, as his rating is too low having made a handful of sub appearances for Benfica across the league and Champions League. Nuno Claro most certainly has been playing... why do you think otherwise? He played the last 9 games for CFR Cluj who are top of the league, and he has kept 4 clean sheets in the process. Stancioiu hasnt played since being sent off on the 6th October, as far as I am aware he has lost his place from this and is not injured, with Nuno Claro now first choice. Gizb 4,191
Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb I think the games that Romeu Ribeiro played were before the last rating changes.. so now he should maintain his rating or decrease because he not made any minute. I asked about Nuno Claro because the site where i search the statistics not showed me nothing about games played, minutes, yellow cards, etc..
Insider 11,470
Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb My first team has an average rating of 82.
