BRISTOL THRASH NORWICH CITY TO STAND UP AFTER DEFEAT

Marco Borriello (67') 8-2 Norwich City

Marco Borriello (80') 9-2 Norwich City

Bristol City return to Ashton Gate after their bitter 4-0 defeat against Hull City, ending their 17 only win run. Bristol City will face Norwich City, who have not won a game in seven games and will probably only extend that feat, especially to such a side like Bristol City, with a great strike force of Marco Borriello and Perez Bojan Krkic up front, who have scored a total of over 40 goals this season.

Marco Borriello scores easily in only the second minute slotting the ball home after some neat footwork. But amazingly, Norwich City equalized on the 21st minute through Simon Lappin who heads home a cross from the right by Claude Makelele. But Norwich City's fans joy did not last too long when Perez Bojan Krkic uses his blistering pace to leave the defenders in his wake before chipping the keeper in an aplomb. With eight minutes left in the first half, Turan Arda rises above the defender and heads home after a great cross from Trinidad Diego Capel. Six minutes later, Perez Bojan Krkic grabs his second in the game after a miss-hit shot goes in from a goalkeeper mistake.

PEREZ BOJAN KRKIC GRABS TWO GOALS

Eleven minutes after the break, Marco Borriello heads powerfully past the keeper after a nice cross from Turan Arda to make it 5-1, but just five minutes later, Darren Huckebery managed to pull one back for Norwich City finishing cleverly after some slick passing. Marco Borriello completes his hat-trick on the 63rd minute after confidently placing the ball beneath the keeper after a great through-ball from Gokhan Inler, and thirty-four seconds later, Perez Bojan Krkic also completes his hat-trick, heading the ball into the open net after a good cross from Marco Borriello. Marco Borriello gets his fourth and fifth in the game in the 67th and 80th minute both scoring spectacular goals.

Toggs back at Ashton Gate

Toggs has now been back at Bristol City in EC762 for three games which have resulted in a loss and two wins. The most memorable was the midweek clash against Liverpool which City won 1-0. Thye are still 12th in the league table and thats where theyve been in the whole of Toggs'es reign. But a win midweek could take them up to 9th.

He has signed a few players. Ideye Brown was first to join from Xamax for a fee of 10k. Manuel Marcelo Moreno then arrived in a straight swap deal including Louis Saha. Miralem Sulajami then joined from Herrenveen, Ryan Babel made way for him. Esteban Granero joined with Rustu and Jarosik going to Getafe making way for Rui Patricio to be the starting goalkeeper. Zenit playmaker Igo Denisov joined for a fee of 2.4M, Abou Diaby and Luis Helton. Domenico Criscito joined from Juve, Rivas and Ramdanovic making way for that deal and young Holland LB Urby Emmanuelson joined from Ajax for a fee of 1.4M, Beterzacky and Makismov.

Toggs did say that he is awaiting the TB's of some older and higher rated players to end so they can make way for more youth. Lucarelli, Rothen, Tarnat, Panucci, Hamman and surprisingly Gomis & Thiago Heleno have been told there futures at Bristol could come to an irrupt end.

Dossena Arrives

After the controversy of Urby Emmanuelson joining from Ajax, Toggs turned his attention to Andrea Dossena of Udinese and landed him in a deal that saw Betersckaky move in the opposite direction.

Its a huge signing for Bristol City as they now have a good LB, this means Bristol are ready for Tarnat's eventual Retirement.

Toggs after 2 New CB's

After Thiago Heleno has been shown the door at City along with Hamman, Toggs is chasing both Sevilla CB Fedreco Fazio and Espanyol sweeper Marc Tarrejon. Togs thinks there the perfect additions for a changing City squad. It is likely that Bordon and Tarrejon would hold the CB postions, people such as Silvestre, Fazio and new signing Criscito on the bench.

Manchester United - 3pts out of 6.

The squad has been changed alot throughout the season, but stand-out players are Niang, Densinov & Hmasik. Niang is City's top goalscorer on 12 goals. He also has most Assists & MoM's. Densinov has been the supporting role, collecting 10 assists and 5 goals in 14 games. Hamsik has player 31 of the 33 games this season and is arguably City's best young player. His always sensational performances keep you thinknig, is he really human?

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Spoon v Sam v Daniel v Toggs

Looks like Spoon wins' date=' can I quit this club now? :)

I had a disastrous end to my season after being with touching distance of top spot. I blame this on my holiday which coincided with the end of my season, as this is better than admitting I suck. :)[/quote']

Same, and even though I didn't go on a holiday when my team stopped winning, I will use that excuse too :):P

Bristol City

Summer Signings:

Carlos Mineiro, Fernandao Cavenaghi, Martin Ollson, Aidan Downes, Yilmaz Aydin, Gavin Tomlin, Stefan Furstner.

Have antoher 3M to spend which will all be on revamping my youth squad to around 25 players.

This years First Team (Without Cavenaghi in, Niang leaving in that deal.)

000001.jpg[/img]

I am happy with the squad, depite it being small and not a sgood as most other people B.City's. Giving myself a target of any Silverware by the end of Season4, and winnig the league by the end of season6. AllanMUFC is also in the setup as Manchester United.

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Spoon v Sam v Daniel v Toggs

Bristol City 2-3 Everton

Toggs congratulated his players despite going down 3-2 to Everton last night. He said new loan signing Luis Anderson brang a new dimension to the midfield, and when Miniero is back, Bristol City would have one of the best midfields in the league.

Cavenghi gave Bristol City the lead after just 1 minute. A volley giving the fans a wonder-start, adn it was made 2 when Anderson headed into the Everton goal. Thinks were looking good for a few minutes until Trezeguet equalized for Everton, and then Klose levelled the match up for Everton just before half time. Christian Brmudez's deflected goal in the second half was enough to give Everton the three points.

Toggs has told his players not too be down-hearted. And next match they travel to Middlesbrough who have enjoyed a good start to the season, a win is vital for Toggs & City.
