Bristol City EC - 795

13.gif2-1 1.gif

A great start in the cup sees division 2 side Bristol City defeat division 1 big four side Arsenal. The first goal of the game went to David Noble after only 13 minutes which gave the Championship side the dream start. But only a minute after the premier side hit back with a goal from midfield star Cesc Fabregas. The game then went for a much longer time before seeing another goal and as the game went into the last 10 minutes it seemed like the next goal would win the game. And that goal came and it went to the Championship side Bristol City through Darren Byfield, Arsenal then piled on the pressure but couldn't break through and the game finished 2-1 to Bristol.

Bristol City - EC 795

27.gif2-3 13.gif

After a great win against Arsenal in the cup manager Arsenal 123's focus was back onto the league and winning promotion into the premier league. The challenge which Bristol City faced was an away tie against Crystal Palace. Bristol City scored twice in the first half first through Manuel Rui Costa and then Marvin Elliott to give Bristol a 2-0 lead going into the break. But then 17 minutes after the restart Ben Watson pulled one back for Palace. Although Bristol then increased there lead again with Sükür Hakan scoring with 18 minutes remaining. Palaces star midfielder Phillip Cocu then pulled it back again making it 3-2 meaning a tough 11 minutes for City, but they held on and took home all 3 points. Another good win means City keep there place in the promotion spots.

Bristol City 2-0 Norwich City

Good game for Toggs as they cruised past Norwich thanks to goals from nani (28) and a late goal from Larsson (87) sealed the 3 points. The win lifts then up 2 4th, behind Preston, Sheff Wed and Coventry.

Next is 5th placed Sheff Utd; only 3 points are acceptable in this encounter.

Prediction: Bristol City 2-1 Sheffield United

Bristol City - EC 795

Bristol City have announced a new sponsor for the rest of there season. The current sponsor was not paying City enough money for there liking considering how well they are doing this season. They were demanding an additional 8,000 pounds per week and this sponsor was the first to offer with the demanded price. And the new sponsor is...........Carling.

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Torley v Toggs v Sam

Nice team. I moved to top as well today, after also beating Blackpool, 3-1 away in my case. Two points clear now, so looking good.

25 points from 11 games, thats 8W 1D 2L. How is everyone else doing for points?

87 average rated team now... Have a bit of cash so hoping to sign a few Italians.

Bristol City - EC 795

13.gif1-1 24.gif

I disappointing result for Bristol City last night as they could only manage a draw at home against unmanaged Colchester United. Bristol City took the lead 6 minutes before half time through star player Manuel Rui Costa who now takes his goal tally to 2 for the season as well as 2 assists. Colchester leveled it up half way through the second half with a goal from Karl Duguid to make it 1-1 which remained the final score.

Although the money looks good with still 12.2 million to spend, manager Arsenal 123 wants to know what the rest of you have it terms of money.

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Torley v Toggs v Sam

Played 11, won 6, drawed 4, lost 1.

Not bad, im happy with it as i know ill dominate the second half of the season.

Money wise - 2.5M, Chris Weale and Phil Jevons set to make around another 1.5M. Im also going shopping for Italians, have a few in mind, then im going to settle down.

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Torley v Toggs v Sam

W:7 D:1 L:3

Currently have £1.4m, and no need to spend it as I have the players capable of taking me to division one, undoubtedly.

Last night:

BRISTOL CITY 3:1 PRESTON NORTH END

(Diego Capel 12' 53' Sektioui 41') : (Hill 46')

Anyone got any good Italians I should sign?
