Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Torley v Toggs v Sam v Daniel v Austin

Scounthorpe vs Bristol City

Bristol will go into this game with their new signings to help them.

Bristol City failed woefully to sign any strikers, but spent heavily in midfield.

They bouth a couple of oldies to help them as well.

Bristol City signings

Robert Pires

Toselli

Galasek

Barone

Kovac

Out

Byfield

Muray

Carle

Adriano

Mccombe

Trundle

Orr

Bristol City needed some money and they used it, not too wisely, but not badly.

Bristol City formation

Weale

Carey Fointaine Vasko Mazclister

Barone Elliot Galasek Pires

Kovac

Arbeloa

This is an 85 rated side, but Austin knows he will sign some more players.

Scounthorpe are a good side, but they are unmanaged.

Bristol City will be hoping to adopt an attacking mentality for the whole of the season, and have put out loan bids for a couple of strikers.

More transfers will follow the next morning probably, and Austin will hope to kick start his season with a win.

Prediction Scounthorpe 1 - 2 Bristol City.

Stoke City 2-3 Bristol City

Stoke:

Parkin (22)

Marchisio (24)

Bristol

Binya (16)

Nani (27)

Ben Arfa (47)

Win takes City 3 points clear at the top, after my brothers Coventry suffered a 1-0 defeat to the hands of a good Preston side. ( Acosta, Flamini, Savage, Ospina )

Next is Plymouth (15th), unmanaged with original team. After that match, both Vasko and Muratori will be back from injury and avaliable to play.

Managers Comment: 'Starting to think were unbeatable, only game we lost in the league was due to me not doing tactics :) '

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Torley v Toggs v Sam v Daniel v Austin

After the first team cruised past Arsenal and Tottenham, the 4th round called for Reserves versus Hartlepool.

Manager Farine did not regret it.

Hartlepool - 0

Bristol - 9 - Lejeune (9), Giovani (17,30), Walcott (32,46), Giovinco (37,75), Sissoko (51), Antonio Carlos (69)

Very much a team effort, with 3 guys getting braces, and 6 different scorers.

Managers Comment - We have a good young squad that we will look to add upon, taking the depth away from the squad and looking for around a 25 man squad with no under 84s unless their future prospects. In a a way i was happy with exiting with the domestic competitions as it focuses my team on the league, and my only goal this season, was promotion. I know think we can achieve that target, finishing 1st.

Bristol City 1 - 0 WBA

In a tough battle betwwen two of the hihly rated side in the second division, Austins new Bristol came out with the win.

Robert Pires scored the winner in the 61st min, and Bristol cleverly held down the game after that.

Bristol City move up to 15th now, and face a tough test away against Coventry City, who are in second place.

Re: Ross v Tom v Mark v Teb v Torley v Toggs v Sam v Daniel v Austin

Bristol City 3-0 Wolves

Jong-a-Pin (19), Larsson (21), Rivaldo (54)

Keeps City 3 points clear at the top and now 10 points away from 4th place. After next game equals half-way through the season, and Toggs is happy with the progress the team is making and expects at least 80 points, and of course, the CHampionship title.
