Re: Players to watch out in the second half of the season

10) Bjarni Vidarsson - FC Twente have taken him on loan till the end of the season. He is an Icelandic midfielder for Everton . He has represented his country at under 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 levels, and recently received his first full international call up. He will surely get some playing time at FC Twente as they are highly interested in him

11) Danny Szetela - Have you sold him?

If so then prepare to go for him again. Unable to get playing time at Racing Santander, the American prospect was loaned out to Serie B side Brescia Calcio with an option to buy him when the season ends.

Re: Players to watch out in the second half of the season

14) Josh Walker-The highly rated Middlesborough midfielder has made the move to Aberdeen on loan till the season ends. He has captained England in all youth categories except u-21. Praises were showered on him from both coaches(Aberdeen & M'borough) after his moving and is expected to fit into the team easily.

I already had a thread on him here- Josh Walker

Re: Players to watch out in the second half of the season

This player is someone you must watch out for.

Martin Skrtel

Skrtel' date=' 23, rated 89 on the DB is Liverpool's most expensive defender ever in history, beating Daniel Agger. Skrtel cost the club 6.5M and joins from Zenit St Petersburg. The Slovakian is a center back and should be third choice after Agger and Carragher.

He is a giant at 1.94m tall and hope he plays well for the Merseyside team! ;):DB)[/quote']

Scoring an own goal for his debut isnt a good omen. He seems to be too nervous.

He didn't score an own goal in his debut...

Anyways, I find Skrtel pretty clumsy but he has good tackling and works hard on the field.

He has time on his side, just 23 at the moment, but when Agger is back, the bench will probably be his.

Re: Players to watch out in the second half of the season

David Edwards (Wolves) Age 22. Signed by Wolves (my team) from Luton in January and has played every game since (except the one he was cup-tied), scored one goal and getting good reviews. Currently rated at 78, but if he carries on playing every week, he will presumably rise into the early 80's (maybe 82/83) to bring him in line with the rest of the Wolves 1st team. Recently broke into Wales team and now has 3 caps. Thought he fitted the criteria of "one to watch in 2nd half of season".

pato - played amazing in this 1st few matches and if he contiunes like that then he could be higher then his current rating.

eduardo - imo hes been very good buy for arsenal and should increase aswell if he coniues polaying like that.

richards - imo one of the best defender in england right now and if he conitujes playing liek the match vs man utd then he could be soon in his career looking for 90+

He did.

His debut was against Havant and Waterlooville and he scored an own goal at the 31st minute to give Harvant the lead after Lucas' equaliser

Re: Players to watch out in the second half of the season

8) Vitor Gomes- Cagliari have snapped him from Portuguese Second Division Rio Ave on a loan deal with the option for a permanent move in the summer.

He is a Portugal U21 international and was the winner of last season's Young Player of the Year in Portugal's second tier.

Any idea about this lad Gizb ?

He returned this year to his former club, Rio Ave. Let's see how he plays in Portuguese first league after an unsuccessful period in Italy.
