Hugo Souza

Age - 21

Club - Flamengo

Position - GK

Nationality - Brazil

Hugo Souza a player who I’ve mentioned recently in other threads is a goalkeeper who I believe has the ability to play for a top team in Europe.

He’s currently showing his ability having been given the opportunity at Flamengo due to injuries but having excelled he is now keeping Diego Alves their first team goalkeeper out of the starting 11.

Hugo is a tall goalkeeper at 6’5, he has great reactions which makes him an ideal shot stopper, couple of highlights below showing off his ability.

First highlight is an excellent double save in his most recent game against Corinthians

Currently played 8 games for Flamengo in which his club have been unbeaten with 6 wins and 2 draws.

Hugo hasn’t featured for his nation Brazil but I wouldn’t be surprised if a call up to the u21’s isn’t far away.

SM rating - 73

Value - 1 million

2 American talents on their way in DC United, who definitely deserves more attention.

Moses Nyeman
Club - DC United
Age - 16
Position - DM, M(C)
Nationality - USA

The American midfielder - with roots from Liberia - is already quite far in the tactical part of football. He is a very athletic midfielder with good ball control. He also moves well without a ball and also has fast feet. Even under pressure, he remains fairly calm.

Above all, Nyeman has to ensure that his pass in the last zone continues to improve and to become slightly more efficient with his passing. So he can get a little better offensively. He may also become a little more selfish.

NyemanMoses_DCUvLouCity_Preseason_012.06

1 game in USLC

SM - 65
Value - € 140K

Kevin Paredes
Club - DC United
Age - 17
Position - M, AM(RL)
Nationality - USA

The American playmaker is a fast, agile player with an above average technique. Collectively he is also quite good and has a good sense for positional play.

Physically he can grow even more, but otherwise I personally believe very strongly in Kevin Paredes. Next season in the MLS he could play a lot.

What a game by Nyeman against Cincinatti.. Already mentionned him, but still a must buy!

@thorgan lesarOsman Bukari is worth keeping?

I have a chance to sell him and Mignolet for Lucas Fernando (89), competitive GW and I am a Division 4 side so Fernando would be an important addition.

He will rise more and is becoming better week by week. So he's worth keeping, but for an important addition it's definitely something to go for (Fernando). Maybe someone else as a possibility to give for Fernando ?

New idea in this thread:...

"According to transfermarkt.com 'Best u17 - u21 at the moment' in..."

Of course we follow the young players on ourself, but it's definitely interesting what transfermarkt.com thinks who are at the moment the best u21 in their country.

Every week I'll do a country who's not so much in the media. @Kieran_S91 what do you think of this idea ? Something interesting or maybe less ?

I'll start with Australia and New Zealand.

I put a " ! " with players in 2nd category who I'm convinced they are in the future a 'must buy'.

The purpose of this is to buy these players before they have a random rise and the "must buys" that are announced in the past are into 1 list. An overview.

CENTRAL DEFENDERS

We are mainly talking about 9 must buys at the moment. Eduardo Quaresma (18, Sporting CP), Tanguy Nianzou Kouassi (19, Bayern Munich), Josko Gvardiol (18, Dinamo Zagreb), Ariel Mosór (17, Legia Warszawa), Gaston Avila (18, Boca Juniors), Victor Guzman (18, Club Tijuana), Teden Mengi (18, Manchester United), Žiga Laci (18, AEK Athens) and Mario Vuskovic (18, Hajduk Split) are the must buys at the moment.

Jude Soonsup-Bell
Club - Chelsea FC
Age - 16
Positional - A(C)
Nationality - England

This season he was already quite important for the England U16 until the pandemic with 6 goals and was crucial in Chelsea U16.

Jude, who comes from Swindon's Under 13 team, has also had the chance to play with the Under 18 team in the U18 Premier League Cup semi-finals this season.

Jude Soonsup-Bell is a striker with a slim body, has a great sense of position for goal and is skilled in the air game. Positionally, he is very strong and therefore knows the right time to strike as a central attacker. Physically strong, he is extremely sharp for goal and knows when to make himself valuable with assists.

Despite his size, he is a dynamic center forward and constantly on the move. He is a player with a personality that does not seem to suffer particularly from outside pressure. I personally sometimes find him uncoordinated and not very elegant in his movements, but there is still room for improvement. He certainly has great potential.

Armando Broja

Age - 19

Club - Chelsea

Position - Forward

Nationality - Albania

7E7B3A8E-3E08-4371-8DA3-690A071792C6.thumb.jpeg.8739ac8248ad2d2c898458a9d3f250dc.jpeg

Broja is a player I’ve mentioned a lot in recent times especially with his loan move to Vitesse which is proving successful currently.

He’s a player who has a great eye for goal, very intelligent with his runs to break the oppositions defensive line and has the composure to finish one on one opportunities.

Armando is following in the footsteps of many Chelsea youngsters who have had loan spells at Vitesse including the likes of Mason Mount, Jake Clarke-Salter, Dominic Solanke etc. I’m sure this link will continue to be utilised over the years and will remain to be a good stepping stone for many young players.

Broja is also a full Albanian international getting his first senior start for Albania earlier this month. Incredible to think that he started a game for his national side before he got his first senior start for any club.

Maybe this is because of a lack of depth in Albania or because they rate him highly that of which I’m not sure.

As said before, life in Vitesse has started well for him scoring a goal every 51 minutes and is currently Vitesse top goalscorer with 3 goals in 5 games (1 start 4 sub appearances)

SM rating - 73

Value - 400k
