Arsen Zakharyan
Age - 17
Club - Dynamo Moskva
Positions - M, AM(C)
Nationality - Russia

His impact with the Under 21 European Championship that is being played these days in Slovenia and Hungary has been really positive, we are talking about Arsen Zakharyan, a 2003 Russian-born attacking midfielder (but of clear Armenian origins) author of a great performance in match debut against Iceland. The "jewel" class 2003 of Dinamo Moscow, despite playing well under age against opponents born in 1998, sealed his debut with a beautiful goal in 4 to 1 against the Icelanders, a personal solo that allowed him to overcome in dribbling several opponents, including the goalkeeper. With his scoring, in continental competition, Zakharyan became the youngest player to score a goal for Russia Under-21.

Arsen, in October 2020 was chosen by "The Guardian" as one of the 60 best young talents in world football among the players born in 2003. On the other hand, the Russian talent can already boast 6 appearances, a goal and 3 assists with the first Moscow club team, not bad for such a young boy.

Arsen Zakharyan is mainly an attacking midfielder although, in his club, he has also been played as winger.

Very technically gifted able to create numerical superiority in his area of competence with good frequency. He has a sensitive touch of the ball, he knows how to move well between the lines and is incisive both in the finalization phase and in the phase for assists.

Arsen can further strengthen his body structure in order to be even more performing in tackles and shoulder-to-shoulder duels. He needs to improve his left foot to be less predictable.. A little improvement defensively is also welcome...

6 games (1 goal, 2 assists) in the Russian Premier League.

Dribbling is football at its finest, and the data helps us study it.

We toured South American football looking for the best dribblers, and the results were terrific.

For the search, we paid special attention to 4 metrics that determine a player's dribbling ability:

Dribbling.
Offensive Duels.
Progressive Races.
Accelerations.

At the same time, dribbling is useless if it doesn't generate something next; That is why, and although with less weighting, we also take into account:

Goals.
Assists.
Shooting Assists
Shots.
Successful offensive actions.

How do we analyze these statistics? From scatter plots between pairs of similar statistics. Example: we cross the average number of shots on goal that the player makes in 90 min against the percentage of effectiveness of those shots.

𝟏 - 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓Í𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐎 (𝟐𝟐)
Martin-Payero-.jpg
We were all surprised since the return of Argentine football, but that it is located in 1st place in the ranking without being extreme is without a doubt another level. Dribbling, stride, power, technique, and a spectacular punch. Deserved place.

𝟐 - 𝐒𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀 (𝟐𝟒)
22083.jpg
One of the expected on the list, surely the most destabilizing in Argentina based on his dribbling and, above all, speed. Decision-making was criticized, but it has grown a lot in that regard since the arrival of Russo.

𝟑 - 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎 (𝟏𝟖)
alan-velasco-la-joya-la-copa-maradona-qu
The great gem of Argentine football. Pure talent that is beginning to explode in Independiente. Dribbling, creativity, daring, and a very good punch. Velasco has everything to be a crack, Europe looks at him.

𝟒 - 𝐍𝐀𝐇𝐔𝐄𝐋 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐒 (𝟐𝟐)
contratar-a-nahuel-barrios-onnix-entrete
He never found continuity in his career; but every time he enters, he shows creativity and self-confidence impossible to ignore. He is not so young anymore, but he still has time to improve decision-making and be more decisive.

𝟓 - 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀 𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐎 (𝟐𝟎)
orellano_862x485.jpg?v=1
Magnificent outbreak of the Velez winger after the pandemic, 3 goals and 4 assists in 1100 minutes with El Fortín. Skillful, dribbler, and with a very nice left foot; ready for europe

𝟔 - 𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐆𝐎 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐄𝐒 (𝟐𝟒)
diegovaloyestalleres301020twtalleres.jpg
The Colombian from Talleres is not only the weapon of imbalance of his team, but also one of the best in Argentine football in this regard. It was rumored with his arrival in Boca, but the truth is that it will not take long to make a move.

𝟕 - 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓Í𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐈 (𝟐𝟎)
1568210192.jpeg
For many perhaps the revelation, but the reality is that we have been talking about him for a long time. This analysis serves to confirm its level and enormous potential. The great gem that strangely still is in the B Nacional.

𝟖 - 𝐉𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐋 (𝟐𝟐)
252270.jpg
One that you always want to see, and probably one of the most talented players in Argentine soccer. He should still finish exploding, but it feels like when he does, and if he does, it will be terrific.

𝟗 - 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐎𝐒𝐀 (𝟐𝟒)
a83c95d4c6882f5cf57f18d5e3f56cbf.0.jpg
For us the pleasant surprise of this analysis, a 10 Venezuelan playing in Jaguares de Colombia. Skillful, technical, judicious. Write down his name.

𝟏𝟎 - 𝐘𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐃𝐎 (𝟐𝟑)
63d379c560bec70db8b399f33582d479498bce27
When we talk about imbalance in South America it is impossible not to think about it; The Venezuelan has been one of the best players on the continent for some time. Nationality, height ... the reason is not clear, but Soteldo asks for Europe.

𝟏𝟏 - 𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐎 𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐎 (𝟏𝟕)
julio-enciso-libertad.jpg
The great gem of Libertad, and probably Paraguayan football: he turned only 17 in January and is already a regular starter in his team. A crack. For us, the best player of the last South American SUB 15.

𝟏𝟐 - 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐎 𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐙𝐂𝐎 (𝟏𝟗)
contratar-a-franco-orozco-onnix-entreten
One of the many good values of Aimar's SUB 17 and appearances from the last #CopaDM. Quick, skilled, but also decisive in attack: he has already scored 6 goals in 15 games with Lanús.

𝟏𝟑 - 𝐍𝐀𝐇𝐔𝐄𝐋 𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀 (𝟐𝟏)
One of the least known, the Uruguayan de Rentistas. In a bad present from his team, he is the highlight. Skill, speed, power and youth, it would not be surprising if some great from Uruguay would look for him in the next markets.

No photo

𝟏𝟒 - 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐙𝐀𝐋𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈 (𝟐𝟐)
LP_9200278.jpg
Since he made his debut in Boca, he began to show his potential, which unfortunately went from more to less. He went through Talleres and Sampdoria, he never exploded but he is still 22 years old and is beginning to have more minutes at Xeneize.

15 - 𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐋𝐀𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐀 (𝟐𝟐)
0217330e-laquintana.jpg
One of the fastest players in South American soccer. He has had high-flying matches, but also very irregular; and this is probably due in part to the very poor present of his team.

Other very good players passed the filters but did not enter the ranking:

Pablo Solari
Thiago Almada
Matías Esquivel
Facundo Torres
Nicolás Quagliata
Matías Ocampo
Johan Carbonero
Duván Vergara
Carlos Palacios

I think River Plate want to sign Payero.

Who would you guys choose to sign between Velasco and Torres?

I'm leaning towards Velasco.

Some youngsters are on their way at KRC Genk. Luca Oyen played already a bit and Maarten Vandevoordt is first choice now at KRC Genk. Pierre Dwomoh and Sekou Diawara are also in spotlights, but 15-year-old Mika Godts is the next one to keep an eye on.

I wouldn't be surprised if he in 2022 already in the first squad. He has wonderful technical gifts showing hesitations and rhythm changes.

A bunch of amazing young players you've never bloody heard of! Done by @scoutsourced

So just a fun list. Bit tongue in cheek/making fun of lists. Not supposed to be taken seriously and in no particular order. I tried to do it without thinking of any rules - just the best players I have seen that don't show up on other lists - so didn't think of country, age or position (not many CB's). Some insane talents though!

Juan Ignacio Ramirez (24) already above 23 years old, but nevertheless it doesn't stop me to talk about Ramirez his amazing season at Liverpool Montevideo FC..

📈 Rate: 82
⏱ 91 % of the playing time (total: 14 games)
️ 13 goals

Won't rise because of the cap of Liverpool Montevideo, but still he deserves to take a step to Europe.

Gonzalo Sosa
Age - 16
Club - Racing Club
Positions - AM(RLC), A(RLC)
Nationality - Argentina

Good in short spaces, as well as creativity and speed. His movements, as I have seen, are correct, intelligent, obscure for sure.
He joined the first team, taking action to sign the first professional contract. Racing Club tries everything to keep him while Real Madrid CF and Barcelona FC are after him.

Gonzalo Sosa has been talked about a lot in recent months, having reached 16 years of age a few days ago. Gonzalo Sosa possesses unconventional technical skills (which he also associates with impacting conditional skills).

He still carries with him all the immaturity of his 16 years, especially tactical ( I mean at the level of decision-making processes, as well as in the defensive phase) and egocentric.

Gonzalo Sosa is a player who usually acts on the last third of the field looking for spaces between the lines, individual plays and quick combinations, oriented to become incisive in offensive attacks through high-level technical and motor skills. Sosa is very skilled at being found in intermediate positions.

Another part that in my opinion needs to improve is the non-possession phase. He needs to work a bit more on his timing. It is clear that his growth process must necessarily pass through the completion of his physical structure (which is already fairly elastic and well-proportioned), as well as some methods that have not yet been mastered today, such as the defensive phase.

He's able to play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger of a 4-2-3-1, or as a false nine.

How good do you think Stevanovic of Manchester City is? Should I sell Rovella to sign him?

Both not great to be honest. Go with Stevanovic, but the big question is where he is going to play next season...

Lommel in Belgium or Girona in Spain..

Rovella dissapoints, so probably sell yeah.

Romelu Lukaku’s international record is unreal 🤯

▪️ 59 goals in 91 games aged just 27
▪️ Became Belgium’s all-time leading scorer aged 24
▪️ Reached 50 goals faster than Messi, Ronaldo, Zlatan and Lewandowski
▪️ 36 goals in last 31 games for his country
▪️ Scored in 10/10 World Cup/EURO qualifiers since 2019

Are you interested to have a an own category in this thread specific for South Korea ? If not, it's okay. It's your call.

I don't need a category, main because Soccer Manager is not interested in Korean talents, if they were Won Du-jae was added a long time ago.

However, I can write some guest reports. That will depend if Kang Seong-jin gets more games, or Park Kyu-Hyun gets to Werder Bremen first team.

That's what I mean, A category in this thread for making reports... :)

This thread is not only Soccer Manager..
