He has already been mentioned on this thread once by @brocky64 but I thought I'd mention him again today going in to a potential international debut, as he might be someone that's slipped through the radar.

Andrew Omobamidele (65)

Aged 18

Position: CB

Omoabidele started all of Norwich's last 8 games in the Championship season, helping them to earn promotion back to the Premier League and win the Championship. Norwich have a decent side but there isn't particularly strong competition there for him in Grant Hanley, Christophe Zimmermann and Ben Gibson. There's every chance Norwich strengthen in this area this summer, but Daniel Webber's said they aren't going to be splashing major cash. There's every chance Omobamidele could be finding himself playing a decent amount of Premier League football next season.

In a poll of Norwich fans 73.4% thought he should stay and fight for his place in the Premier League, whilst 26.6% thought he should go out on loan in the Football League. Either way, he'll get a strong rating increase from his current rating. At the moment he's a due an increase to 73, and should be rated at least 77/78 come the end of the 2021/22 season unless something goes wrong with injuries but there's obviously the potential for things to go higher if things fall in to play.

Another reason for mentioning him today, is that he's been called up to the full Ireland National Team and is in line to potentially make his debut tonight in a friendly against Andorra.

Ireland coach Andy Reid "I've seen him play three times this season for Norwich, and on two out of those three times he was the best player on the pitch. He has got a big future ahead of him and we should really get excited about him."

BUNDESLIGA 2 PROSPECTS/RISERS 🇩🇪

Some great risers and top talents have played in the Bundesliga 2 this season Armel Bella-Kotchap being the pick of the bunch for me.

Josh Vagnoman -                     82 -> 84
Armel Bella-Kotchap -           82 -> 84
David Raum -                              82 -> 84
Amadou Onana -                      76 -> 80
Shinta Appelkamp -                76 -> 78
Benjamin Goller -                      78 -> 80
Tom Krauss -                              78 -> 80
Lars Lukas Mai -                        80 -> 82
Anton Stach -                             77 -> 80
Jan Schoppner -                       73 -> 78
Erik Shuranov -                          70 -> 75
Dennis Borkowski -                 73 -> 76

Really excited to see how Armel Bella-Kotchap (19) will perform in the Bundesliga next season after gaining promotion with Bochum, that is of course if he hasn’t been snapped up before a ball is kicked. Much interest around Europe for this young CB who has a lot to offer.

Amadou Onana (19) is another player who is gaining reputation and growing interest from top clubs in Europe, I’ve spoke about Onana months ago after being impressed throughout this season, he’s a very intelligent midfielder who lends himself well in both defence and attack. Excellent in the tackle as well has having great vision and the ability to execute a wide range of passes.

David Raum (23) already signing for Hoffenheim in the summer on a free transfer, likely to be a great riser next season. Wonderful attacking full back who has been really impressive this season with 14 goal involvements in the league (13 assists)

Shinta Appelkamp (20) born in Japan raised in Germany is a talent less well known but who has had a decent campaign this season and recently been called up to the German u21 team for the knockout stages at the Euros.

Shinta Appelkamp

Finally we have the two Leipzig loanees Dennis Borkowski (19) and Tom Krauss (19) the latter playing almost every game this season for Nurnberg. Will be very interesting to see what happens to this duo next season whether it’s another loan to the Bundesliga 2 or in top tier of German football.

Some good prospects to keep an eye on next season

Cheers Kieran 😁

CERCLE BRUGGE

■ Ike Ugbo
2aad9564cc4a6c70dbf429c865e373c44147a59a
~ 22 years old, rate: 80

This English centre forward is on loan from Chelsea FC. He's the reason why Cercle Brugge avoided degradation. Made 16 goals in a team in a low-table team. Cercle Brugge has an option on Ugbo, but it won't be easy to keep him.

He deserves a next step, but I won't go to a team who's too much. CSKA Moskva already did an offer.

Teams:
CSKA Moskva
KRC Genk
Fulham FC
AS Monaco
Eintracht Frankfurt

Chance:
90 %

Anthony Musaba is going back to AS Monaco, but I aspect that Musaba will get chances in a little team of Ligue 1. I'm intriged.

KV OOSTENDE
?appId=21791a8992982cd8da851550a453bd7f&

■ Jack Hendry
dd90542a-f51d-11ea-bbc3-2617dd0b0a82_web
~ 26 years old, rate: 82

Hendry is in the same situation as Ike Ugbo. Hendry is on loan from Celtic, but KV Oostende has also an option. He became an international for Scotland while playing in Belgium. Hendry is a secure and hard defender.

I think personally he needs to stay 1 more year and confirm his level from previous season. Still that won't be easy. He's very wanted at the moment.

Teams:
Wolverhampton
Burnley
Aston Villa
Brighton & Hove Albion
Leicester City
West Ham
Crystal Palace
Newcastle United
Sheffield United

All of these English teams are linked with Hendry. He needs to think very well if he's ready or not. If Hendry leaves but bought by KV Oostende they want at minimum € 12 million.

Chance: 70 - 80 %

■ Arthur Théate
b0077b6211114fa188cdc107d3a60b01.jpg
~ 21 years old, rate: 80

Théate is wanted by some good teams and is an unique Belgian defender. Belgium hasn't many left-footed central defenders. He sometimes have he's going too much in duel. Needs to become more secure in my opinion, but this tackles are on point and physically strong.

Too be honest I normally say after only 1 year he needs to stay, but in his case I think he needs a move fast to Italy. He needs to learn real defending in the best defensive competition. KV Oostende wants at minimum € 10 million.

Teams:
Bologna FC
Club Brugge

Teams: 70 %

■ Jelle Bataille
BB1dysgk.img?h=315&w=600&m=6&q=60&o=t&l=
~ 22 years old, rate: 82

The right wingback is attacking minded well and has good passes. He needs to become stronger in duel.

I think he has to take a step in Belgium and not Abroad. Won't be a good choice because it's too early and not experienced in a higher level. 3 - 4 million euros for him.

Teams:
Royal Antwerp

Chance:
70 %

Fashion Sakala Jr. signed for Glasgow Rangers for next season. Good move!

ZULTE WAREGEM
thumb2-sv-zulte-waregem-fc-4k-belgian-fo

■ Omar Govea
omar-govea-zulte-waregem-1605281121-5145
~ 25 years old, rate: 82

The Mexican is a crucial part of that midfield in Zulte Waregem. He's becoming more mature on the field and is playing box-to-box pretty well. Has an important role in Zulte Waregem their strong moment.

He found his level back and found finally some balance, but is again on the leave. I think he can move to a league who's not too much physicall. For him MLS or a French team would be good. 3 million at least!

Teams:
Unknown MLS teams

Chance:
60 %

CHARLEROI SC
mini-cadre(2).jpg

■ Ali Gholizadeh
B9721034524Z.1_20190925224842_000+GUJEI0
~ 25 years old, rate: 85

The winger from Iran had his best season in his career and it's not over yet. He shows qualities as a pure winger and is the most important player for Charleroi SC this season. His percentage is the highest of evolvement in goals and assists.

Won't be surprised if some teams are interested in Gholizadeh. A Belgian top team or a team in a competition like Ligue 1 or La Liga. 6 million euros would be the minimum.

Teams:
Unknown

Chance:
50 - 60 %

BEERSCHOT AC
Beerschot-Football-Club.jpg

■ Raphael Holzhauser
RaphaelHolzhauser458.jpg
~ 28 years old, rate: 83

Started in the season extremely well! He has the vision and his passing. Still sometimes too slow, but he has so much interesting qualities. He couldn't hold his level till the end of the season, but still a good player!

He needs to know that he had less moments in this season. If he sees this and take a step not too high he can go for a team who's good for him. He became an international of Austria in Beerschot AC. They ask at minimum € 3 million.

Teams:
KRC Genk

Chance:
90 %

I'm hoping Hendry can have a great Euros and make the right move for his career so that he is still playing regularly at club level next season. Great goal from him tonight.

Good defender but I hope he's realistic. KV Oostende is not a bad place to stay for +- 2 years and if he moves not too difficult ...

Dante Sealy went to PSV over a year ago and was told he had to wait to go to Europe when he turned 18. 44 days ago he turned 18 and now he's back with PSV. I would expect a transfer between them and FC Dallas.

He already made a goal in MLS for FC Dallas at such a young age. Together with Nyeman (DC United) they were predicted a big future a year ago and are finding place already at MLS..

I personally like Sealy but way too early...

Wirtz is phenomenal indeed, but Nmecha impressed again.

Same with Niklas Dorsch. 2 German talents that has chosen to play in Belgium and became much better.

Hopefully the Jupiler Pro League attracted other German talents like them.

Excited if Frederik Jäkel or Nick Bätzner can do something in KV Oostende next season.

Atsushi Zaizen (21) at FC Wacker Innsbruck is a player in Austrian 2nd division, able to evolve in almost all offensive positions.

Eccentric or axial, he is a really gifted player with both feet which makes him quite unpredictable. A good technique and ball handling, good dribbler and quite fine technically.

He is a player who knows how to put intensity and movement with and without the ball. Dangerous in the zone of truth by the pass and by his vision. Lively, fast, solid ...

Loizos Loizou (17) is an international from Cyprus already on his age and is getting attention from Belgian top team Club Brugge KV. He's pretty fast and has an excellent left foot.

As an offensive winger, Loizou does not look at physical intentions more or less, and he does not shy away from defensive work.

In the Cypriot league, he is the winger with the highest number of successful defensive interceptions per game.

SERIE B PROSPECTS/RISERS

After plenty of research next up I’ve decided to do Serie B, some of my picks below to progress on a successful season.

@sharkdanyour opinion would be greatly appreciated 😊

Sebastiano Esposito -               80 -> 82
Youssef Maleh -                           80 -> 83
Davide Frattesi -                          84 -> 84
Dany Mota -                                    78 -> 82
Andrea Papetti -                           80 -> 82
Samuele Ricci -                             82 -> 84
Fabiano Parisi -                             76 -> 80
Andre Anderson -                       78 -> 80
Antonio Gallo -                             70 -> 76
Caleb Okoli -                                  73 -> 78
Salvatore Esposito -                   82 -> 83
Nedim Bajrami -                            82 -> 84
Davide Bettella -                          82 -> 84

Youssef Maleh (22) helped steer Venezia to play off promotion, currently on loan from Fiorentina and recently called up to Italy’s u21 squad for the Euros. I’m hopeful that Maleh can come back to Venezia next season in Serie A.

Youssef Maleh

Davide Frattesi (21) another who has recently been playing for Italy at u21 level and has been impressive, watched his most recent game against Portugal and he impressed me, playing in various roles but ever the warrior.

Davide Frattesi

Samuele Ricci (18) regarded as one of the best talent in Serie B, Ricci has helped guide Empoli to promotion winning the league. Along with Fabiano Parisi (20) these two youngsters are certainly ones to watch next season as they make the step up.

Samuele Ricci

Currently on loan from Atalanta and of Nigerian decent, Caleb Okoli (19) is another who has enjoyed a spell in Serie B. Very promising central defender who should see a good rise in the next month or so.

Salvatore Esposito (20) has been the standout player for SPAL this season, a typical regista who has the ability and potential to make the step up to Serie A.

Salvatore Esposito

Finally Dany Mota (23) on loan at Monza and will more than likely play at a higher level next season. He’s also currently the top goal scorer for Portugal in the u21 Euros.

Cheers Kieran 😁
