Thorgan I am interested in your opinion in the team I have 6 of these players: M.Kana, N. Mbuku, J.Fernandes, K. Dembele, L. Barry, R. Williams and I have the opportunity to bring one of the following players but I have to give one of my own for new player. Players they can bring are: Agustin Alvarez Martinez, Santiago Munoz, E. Destanoglou, S. Diomande, T. Coulibaly, O. Kossounou, K. Kvaratskhelia, D. Carmo, D. Zima?

Sorry just saw this...

Dembele-- Alvarez Martinez

Williams-- Kossounou / Zima. Both are good.

Barry-- Kvaratskhelia

Hi Thorgan,

I see that you're doing a list of the 50 best Belgian Pro League at the moment.

I'm trying to raise some cash to sign a big name player.

What do you think of the below players from the Belgian Pro League?

1. Marco KANA

2. Maarten VANDEVOORDT

It will be Kana his year next season. I aspect some things from him next season, but not a big name at the moment.

Vandevoordt, must must must buy!

Vandevoordt won't be in the top 50, because he didn't play enough, but will and stay first starter at KRC Genk.

TOP 50: BELGIAN PRO LEAGUE

30. Matt Miazga
B822878030Z.1_20210313211255_000G883KD4F

Matt Miazga - RSC Anderlecht - USA

The American central defender is purely footballing not top, but purely defensive and in terms of mentality Miazga is a great player to have in your team.

Miazga will return to Chelsea FC this summer anyway. RSC Anderlecht cannot pay him financially due to financial problems, but is now ready for a good step to 1 of the 5 biggest competitions.

29. Ali Gholizadeh
B9717788483Z.1_20181130225048_000+GVICH7

Ali Gholizadeh - Charleroi SC - Iran

The Charleroi winger has had his best season of his career in Belgium. He finally became more productive, while Gholizadeh combines that with a fine technique.

At the moment there is no talk of a transfer, but I think there will be interest. In any case, he will not be a cheap player.

28. Arthur Théate
arthur-theate-kv-oostende-1605282428-514

Arthur Théate - KV Oostende - Belgium

Théate played in the youth of KRC Genk and Standard Liège. He was sent on in both teams and ended up at KV Oostende. Positionally he still has some work to do, but Théate impresses with his strength and his strong mentality.

Teams such as Stade Rennes and Bologna FC are interested in buying Théate, but for now he is still with KV Oostende. He must cost at least 8 million euros.

27. Alessio Castro-Montes
B9726054333Z.1_20210205220801_000+GGMHI1

Alessio Castro-Montes - KAA Gent - Belgium

The Belgian right wingback is one of the few bright spots this season in KAA Gent. He's upped his volume, positionally good and scores quite a few goals in that position.

Teams such as Sevilla FC are showing interest, but there is currently no transfer.

26. Hannes Delcroix
b6dea6a0-13e1-11eb-b135-7c82505416ed_web

Hannes Delcroix - RSC Anderlecht - Belgium

Delcroix is a player who comes from the youth of RSC Anderlecht and has performed surprisingly well this season. He is a stable defender, but is sometimes a bit too friendly. He can get a little harder.

Next season will be his year to make RSC Anderlecht stronger defensively. He has already played a match with Belgium against Switzerland.

25. Selim Amallah
B9724217006Z.1_20200806183259_000+G2QGEU

Selim Amallah - Standard Luik - Morocco

The playmaker of the Liège team has had another good season. Last year he made the top 15. Now he makes the top 25. So he has fallen a bit. Sometimes he plays too selfish and occasionally irregular.

Amallah could go to Ligue 1. Olympique Marseille would show interest in him.

24. Dieumerci Mbokani
B9723843159Z.1_20200626104446_000+G7MG7U

Dieumerci Mbokani - Royal Antwerp - Congo

He is a very complete striker. Why is he only in position 24, you might wonder. Mbokani has only shown himself in the top matches, but I also expect performances against the small teams. He is therefore irregular, but still a good player.

Mbokani himself would like to go to RSC Anderlecht, but RSCA doesn't want him. He will therefore normally remain at Royal Antwerp.

23. Xavier Mercier
775545213-1352.jpg

Xavier Mercier - OH Leuven - France

The experienced Frenchman has had his best season ever. Mercier is the personality of OH Leuven. He lets OH Leuven play better.

Mercier is wanted at Royal Antwerp and that would be a great step for him at his old age. :)

22. Abdoulaye Seck
763?appId=2dc96dd3f167e919913d808324cbfe

Abdoulaye Seck - Royal Antwerp - Senegal

This central defender is a very strong defender both physically and mentally. Hard to beat in a one-on-one duel and also scores his goals. He could compete in the Premier League in England.

Seck will simply remain at Royal Antwerp and continue to prove himself as a great central defender.

21. Ruud Vormer

Ruud Vormer - Club Brugge KV - The Netherlands

The midfielder from The Netherlands has had many years at a good level. This season, however, the time has come for him to calm down. At his age, Vormer can no longer bring himself to continue to perform at the top level.

Club Brugge will already start looking for a player to replace Vormer in the long run. He did sign a new contract today.

20. Bas Dost

Bas Dost - Club Brugge KV - The Netherlands

The Club Brugge attacker signed with the team in the winter and has since scored a lot of goals for his team. He has yet to learn to use his body a little more cleverly in duel.

Dost has finally found a team where he can play a lot. He will stay there too.

Colombia played against Ecuador and they have some interesting upcoming players...

Daniel Muñoz and Angelo Preciado are both first starters in their National Team while they are both playing at KRC Genk.

While Muñoz and Preciado were playing Piero Hincapié made his debut at Ecuador. Preciado, Caicedo, Plata and Hincapie. All 4 players are the future for Ecuador despite the loss against Colombia!

David Turnbull of Celtic and Scotland rating uncreased within last couple of days.

He took a bit of time to break in to Celtic team but I'd imagine he will be a key player next season under the new manager.

His fine season was rewarded with his first cap against Netherlands and a place in Euros squad.

His main attributes are being able to pick a pass and generally making the keeper work with his shots on goal. Should improve even further and is ideal for custom gameworlds where rating cap is a bit lower.

Rating - 84

Value - £2.6million

TOP 50: BELGIAN PRO LEAGUE

19. Michael Murillo
Michael-Amir-Murillo_16966695.jpg

Michael Murillo - RSC Anderlecht - Panama

The right defender of RSC Anderlecht has had a good season. He has become an important player for the Belgian team. Offensively he is good with good assists. Defensively, he's also improved, although he could do better.

There are currently no teams linked, but RSC Anderlecht is linked to some right backs. So maybe he might leave

Jhon Lucumi - KRC Genk - Colombia

The central defender from Colombia is now in his 3rd year in KRC Genk. His 2nd year was difficult, but recovers strongly in his 3rd year. Strong in duel, but also grown in footballing ability.

Sevilla FC and Stade Rennes are 2 teams that Lucumi really want.

Daniel Muñoz - KRC Genk - Colombia

Muñoz is the 3rd Colombian - after Lucumi and Cuesta - from KRC Genk. Cuesta didn't make the top 50 due to too many mistakes, but Muñoz had his first year in Europe and surprised everyone.

He has only been in Genk for 1 year and will already have the necessary interest, but Muñoz will stay. I am curious about his 2nd year in Genk.

Ritchie De Laet - Royal Antwerp - Belgium

The Belgian defender - ex-Manchester United player - has found stability after all these years and how! De Laet is a player with tons of commitment who is physically strong.

De Laet is the personality of Royal Antwerp and will remain so next season. If De Laet were younger, there would be a lot of interest.

Raphael Holzhauser - Beerschot AC - Austria

The Austrian playmaker of Beerschot AC had a very strong start where everything he tried went. After that, he experienced a strong relapse, so that he just missed the top 10.

Holzhauser's future is still a bit uncertain. Will he stay with Beerschot AC or will he take another step?

Théo Bongonda - KRC Genk - Belgium

Bongonda has once again shown that he has good qualities, but he is sometimes a bit irregular. Bongonda has grown in his efficiency, which used to be a problem.

The winger's future is also uncertain. He is a player who likes to leave his teams quickly and does not seek stability for a few years. He will therefore leave, but the question now is: where?

13. Roman Yaremchuk

Some wouldn't put him as high as in my list in Belgium, but despite Yaremchuk missing easy goals from time to time, he has been a very important player in a difficult season. He can keep up with balls, collectively fine and still scores enough goals.

Yaremchuk will no longer play at KAA Gent next season. Now that he is playing with Ukraine in the European Championship and currently impressing, he will also cost quite a bit. AS Roma, Arsenal FC and Olympique Lyon are 3 teams that would like to bring him in.

12. Albert Sambi Lokonga

Albert Sambi Lokonga - RSC Anderlecht - Belgium

Some will also disagree with Sambi Lokonga's high position in my list, but he's been making impact offensively for a while, but defensively he's made huge progression. He sometimes loses a little too much his ball, but that is also his only working point to become even more dominant.

It is a certainty that he will leave RSC Anderlecht. Bayern Munich, Arsenal FC and AC Milan are showing interest in the complete midfielder.

11. Hans Vanaken

Hans Vanaken - Club Brugge KV - Belgium

The Belgian attacking midfielder has had a lesser season, but still performed well. Vanaken is and remains a crucial player for his team.

There is a good chance that he will still be a player of Club Brugge KV after this summer.

Charles De Ketelaere, Odilon Kossounou, Clinton Mata, Simon Mignolet, Paul Onuachu, Junya Ito, Lukas Nmecha and Lior Refaelov, Noa Lang and Bryan Heynen.

@gyanthecat you want to try this top 10 in your order ? 😛

Well, should it be in order of performance, potential, value, or what...?

TOP 50: BELGIAN PRO LEAGUE

19. Michael Murillo
Michael-Amir-Murillo_16966695.jpg

Michael Murillo - RSC Anderlecht - Panama

The right defender of RSC Anderlecht has had a good season. He has become an important player for the Belgian team. Offensively he is good with good assists. Defensively, he's also improved, although he could do better.

There are currently no teams linked, but RSC Anderlecht is linked to some right backs. So maybe he might leave

18. Jhon Lucumi

17. Daniel Muñoz

16. Ritchie De Laet

15. Raphael Holzhauser

14. Theo Bongonda

Depends on how much money you have and how your squad is, but without knowing that I'll say still he's worth to buy!

Thanks Thorgan!

I might have the chance to buy Youssoufa MOUKOKO from an unmanaged club within my GW.

Who would you choose between SULEMANA and MOUKOKO?

Moukoko his potential is higher but Sulemana showed more so far. Sulemana would be a safe bet, but the question is more: Can Moukoko play on the level we expect of him ?..

So difficult one. It's a bet but try Moukoko.. Isn't it possible to get both ? ;)

Performance, value and quality. All 3 of them ;)

Difficult, because I don't know very well all of them, but 'ill give it a try. From 10 to 1:

Lior Refaelov, Junya Ito, Bryan Heynen, Simon Mignolet, Clinton Mata, Charles De Ketelaere, Lukas Nmecha, Noa Lang, Odilon Kossounou, Paul Onuachu

It's really hard to rank them, to be honest.

I don't say who but 4 of them are on the same position as in my list. ;)
