Roll of Shame -

Those that spent the money and left behind a club not worth taking.

Adam Gandy - took Ipswich, negotiated deals with managed clubs then quit for a bigger challenge. Took Orient, spent the money and quit on the day of the first game.

Daro - WBA- spent all the money on 2 average players and left the club on the day of the first game.

Bruce Wayne - Chesterfield , Got rid of the whole squad and brought in 22 teenagers, got beat 4-0 in the 1st game and quit, very heroic.

Diego Simeone - Southend, quit after 2nd game and 2nd defeat, leaves behind no money and a squad of only 22 players to cope with 3 games a week, only high rated players are very old.

Roland Koeman - Shrewsbury, Mainly old players bought and gone after 1 game.

Dino Baggio - Ipswich, money gone on mainly old players, 3 games and gone.

Billy Suter - Coventry, 3 defeats in a row coceding 10 in the process has led to yet another quitting leaving Coventry with unfit players and no money.

Chris Senior - Cheltenham,   money spent, 1 win ,6 defeats and 22 goals against might be the reason for this tantrum.

Gyspy King - gone travelling after just 8 games, perhaps the 7 defeats made the decision an easy one.

Alex Raul - spent all the money on 5 33/34 year olds, left behind a squad of only 22 players and quit whilst in the relegation zone.

Connor Kerr - same old story, bought high rated old players, wasn't doing well in the league so cries off leaving someone else to sort out the mess.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS APPOINT JUSTICE

It was announced just a few days ago that Nick Justice, an experienced manager of 15-years within Soccermanager would take the reigns over at Division 2 side Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Midlands club had to act quickly following the resignation of Nuno Santos, due to the club being forced to play in the second division, and with that they looked for an experienced manager who has built sides up from all levels within multiple platforms and Justice's CV stood out from the rest, and they were quick to appoint him.

On his appointment he had this to say, "I'm delighted to be here, and glad to have the backing from the Wolves board, and I will do my best to re-pay the faith they've shown in me! What you'll know about me, is that when I take over a club I will mix things up and refresh the squad and make a lot of changes and hopefully settle a side for the upcoming long and testing Division 2 season. I think we have a strong squad and we will use that and grow and enhance a young and hungry side that will want to win things! i'm here to stay, I'm here to build, together we will have a long term successful relationship!"

A strong statement of intent from the new Wolverhampton Wanderers gaffer, of his long term aspirations to be a success with the club and build up something bigger and long term with the Midlands club. He simply did not wait around and hit the market hard and fast, he tried to bring in a number of players, and so far he's moved on some big names like Neves to Liverpool, Rui Patricio to Leeds, Joao Moutinho to Stoke City, Raul Jimenez  to QPR and Conor Coady to Blackburn, as well as a few youth players, which so far has raised Wolves, £69.5-Million and their kitty was around the £18-million mark, and so the new manager went shopping!

So who has he brought in?

Alphonso Davies (19 88)- The Canadian full-back/winger arrived from Bayern Munich for a fee of £18-million + Wily Boly and Ryan Bennett. The highly regarded and talented teenager was one of Justice's main transfer targets and we believe he was delighted to to get the Bayern man, and believes he's got a huge future ahead of him and that he is exactly the type of player they should be bringing in to the club. They battled with a couple of Division 1 sides and won his signature!

Alphonso Davies Has Quickly Established Himself as One of Europe's ...

Thomas Strakosha (25 89)- With Rui Patricio departing for Leeds for £16-million, it meant that Wolves were on the hunt for a new number one, and they went and brought in 25-year-old Thomas Strakosha from SS Lazio of the Serie A, for a fee of £10-million + Will Norris and Leanardo Campagna, fighting off competition for the Albanian keeper. He was having a superb season in Italy and will now be a regular for Wolves as their #1 keeper!

Strakosha: "I can improve on everything..." - The Laziali

Achraf Hakimi (21 90)- The Moroccan defender arrives from Real Madrid later today for £22-million and Matt Doherty! The 21-year-old was a target that Justice was super keen to get through the door, after an impressive loan spell with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, he feels that at the young age he is, he will only improve and get better and long term is a perfect fit for the way Wolves look to go!

Achraf Hakimi scores TWO goals during Dortmund 3-2 victory against ...

Victor Osimhen (21 87)- The Nigerian forward arrives from Lille OSC in Ligue 1, where he's made an impressive start to life in French football, but now he's heading to the Wolves project to try and provide the goals for the club to help steer them up the table in a very tough and strong lead, but Justice is believed to have high hopes for the young forward and believes he will thrive under the pressure!Victor Osimhen scores again as Lille beats Brest to go third ...

Breel Embolo (23 88) - The Swiss 23-year-old is another who will be joining to offer a threat on goal, and can also drop out wide if required, and with 46-games to play in the league alone, Wolves will want as much quality in positions as possible! Embolo is a player who has had a few injuries that stopped him a bit, but since moving to Borussia Monchengladbach he has began to show his true potential and Justice believes he can unlock that with him at Wolves.

Jason Denayer (24 88)- The Belgium international defender returns to the English game, having previously played for Manchester City, although most of his time with them was spent out on-loan at other clubs and he's then moved onto Lyon in Ligue 1, where he's played as a very solid defender within a young side, and Justice is confident he can replicate that and be a strong defender and last line of defence for the club. He's a player Justice has enjoyed working with in other worlds.

Jason Denayer - Transfert Foot Mercato

Leonidas Stergiou (18 80) - The hot prospect arrives at Wolves, and could be loaned out when he's able to be, or feature in the cup competitions, he's a player justice believes has a huge future in the game and is delighted to bring to English football, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves have tried to leave the lower rated youngsters for smaller club, but if unchallenged they will bring in a few for the longevity of the club!

WOLVES WELCOME TRIO AND MORE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE

Wolverhampton Wanderers have  again hit the market and brought in another two players to Molineux, as more are expected over the coming days and weeks, as they do their best to assemble a squad able to compete on all fronts, and with having 2-3 league games a week also. So, who are the players that have arrived on the Midlands this afternoon and will complete their moves to the club subject to clearance and medicals being completed?

Nicolo Zaniolo (20 89)- The Italian International arrives from AS Roma, in a deal which will see £5-miliion + Jony Otto and Rafa Mir head to Rome as part of the deal. The highly regarded youngster who had burst onto the scene at Roma and impressed in his time enough to earn a call to the National team, will now compete in the English Division 2 with Wolves and help aid them to success and promotion. He comes with strong reputation, and will hope to make an instant impact for Wolves on the pitch.

Jules Kounde (21 88)- The Young French Center-back will arrive from La Liga outfit Sevilla later today, after a fee of £10-million was agreed for the highly regarded defender. He's a defender that Justice targeted as a key player to get in to play at the heart of the defence, potentially alongside Dendoncker who is already at the club. Kounde, 21, is experienced at European level, and regular for the French youth sides, and it's only a matter of time before he gets National team opportunities, and the Wolves gaffer is certain he can gain that whilst at the club long term.

Becir Omeragic (18 73)- The young Swiss defender arrives from FC Zurich for a small fee of just £100,000 and Ofosu-Ayeh, who will now get first team opportunities in Switzerland. Whilst, Omeragic will come into the Wolves youth set-up and be a key player long-term. He had no other sides in for him, as Wolves have reiterated they have no intentions of bidding on youngsters against lower league sides, so with that he's now a Wolves player and will likely feature as and when or move out on-loan

Middlesbrough transfer news, we aim to change the majority of the squad for younger players so the ratings won't have been improved on.

We have decided that promotion wasn't realistic considering some of the higher rated clubs in the division so we have gone with keeping the wage bill low and hoping to have a few risers to profit from whilst keeping a good enough squad to cope with 3 games a week.

Fleetwood-Town-FC-est-1908-football-flag.jpg.35631f19efaf20c67b6edfc90d9babae.jpg

After 2 years ofJoey Barton, Fleetwood Town decided that a cultural upshift was required and Barton was given the boot and replaced by World Cup winning manager Sir Sean.   Following his unveiling as a manager at weekend, SM legend Sir Sean quickly made his presence felt at Highbury Stadium.

Following the returning of several loanees deemed unusable to the cause, his first move was bringing in exciting young Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi in on loan from the Anfield side.

Taiwo has been followed by 12 permanent signing from around the globe.

Oskar Buur & Owen Otasowie - The young Wolves pair joined for a combined fee of £750,000.  Both players had recently signed new deals at Wolves, but the pull of working with Sir Sean was too much for for them to resist.  Both players had managed some first time football in the last season at Wolverhampton and insiders at Fleetwood have high hopes for the pair.

Aaron Hickey - The17 year left back has been linked with a few top flight English clubs lately, but instead opted for a £460k transfer to Fleetwood.  Whilst likely to only be a squad player at first, the next Andy Robertson is certain to be a prominent feature in the future.

Hugo Guillamon - Valencias young Spaniard had been being watched by Barcelona on recent months, but was put off by the fact that a move would mean playing alongside Pique, and opted for the Lancashire Coast.

Jacob Italiano - The Australian youngster Joined BMG less than 2 seasons ago, but failed to establish himself in the first team.  The former Perth Glory Midfielder is keen to start getting first team football again, and sees Fleetwood as the ideal place to do so.

Lucas Silva & Augustin Orion - with the arrival of so many youngsters, the club needed some experience, and these two South Americans fit the bill.

Matias Fonseca - The son of legendary Daniel Fonseca, Matias has a lot to live up to, and whilst some feel Fleetwood is too small a club to prove himself at, the youngster is keen to prove the doubters wrong.

Odilon Kossounou & Abdoulaye Seck - signed from Club Brugge and Antwerp, both players were playing bit parts in their league, and wanted an opportunity for more.

Nya Kirby - Having impressed on a loan spell at rival side Blackpool, Sir Sean decided to invest in the silky skilled youngster.  Big things are expected from this youngster.

Kaio Jorge - Hugely promising Brazilian midfielder who had been linked with some of the Worlds biggest clubs.  However he decided that the best route to Europe was via Fleetwood.

Despite these budget busting transfers, the club felt that they were to invest further and there are set to be several new signings over the next few days, including a deal  already in place for Manchester United youngster Dylan Levitt.

First XI complete at United!

De Gea- Interest from Madrid has now cooled and the Spanish star is fully focused on rediscovering his best form.

AWB- The sole survivor from an originally average United backline. Wan-Bissaka will no doubt continue to grow along side better players.

Alaba- Have United finally found the answer to their left back problems? Shaws inconsistency has become too much of an issue so he’s been replaced with a more reliable and talented option.

Skriniar and Hernandez- Hopefully these two can become the best partnership at the back for us since Rio and Vidic. Both solid no nonsense defenders who will demand the best from those around them.

Pogba- Injury free and better players around him. This could be the season Pogba really gets into his groove.

Fernandes- Already a fan favourite, big things are expected from the Portuguese star this campaign.

Aouar- Adds the class and composure needed for the side to gel. Will be happy to keep things ticking over in the middle whilst provided a healthy balance in that midfield three.

Rashford and Martial- Both will be boosted by the new arrivals, already important players, they’re expected to reach new levels over the coming seasons.

Haaland- No doubt he’ll be a star, but the speed at which his settles could be vital to us. One to watch for sure!

The second XI is no doubt a work in progress and we have a few others with a bit more experience who may get more game time but the youth is there and will get their opportunity to make it at the club. Upto them if they takes their chances!

Swansea have lined up three youngsters to mix in with the oldies we have at the club.

Willem Geubbels (2017).jpg

First up is Willem Geubbels who cost twenty million euros as a sixteen year old. He has barely played since so a £1.4 million move to Wales has tempted him.

Álex Centelles - Player profile 19/20 | Transfermarkt

Spanish youth Alex Centelles comes in from Valencia for £1.4 Million. He had a decent season on loan at Familicao, he will be a back up left-back.

Liverpool 'leading the race' to sign Porto centre-back Diogo Leite

Diogo Leite completes the trio. A young centre-back who will get used this season as cover. At a price of £2.8 million we think he will be able to do a job for us.

I had planned a big post over the weekend before the first game with league clubs value, best player, wage bill etc but being locked out of the thread until today has changed that. Not sure if it has already killed the thread or not.

Anyways just a personal club post for now.

image.jpeg.9641fd5d2108fccf28ed9dd8849a8c60.jpeg

We brought in young eighteen year old Croatian right back Gregor Gulisija (70) for 380k.

First game of the season we went with a 4-3-3 away at Spurs and succumbed to a 1-0 defeat. They had two guys sent off so I am sure we got off lightly although Stuani had a chance late on to equalize but it never materialized.

We made a 165k profit from the away game so with our next match being at home against Manchester City hopefully we can bank some decent money from the match.

A few departures at United, always sad to see players dreams end as they’re pushed out of the back door at Old Trafford but we must move forward. The decision on what to do with the funds raised is yet to be made. Save it? Invest in the youth side? Or go and blow it all on one player? Sure we’ll soon find out!

Swansea sufferer another defeat this time at home against Man City. TBH a 3-0 defeat is not so bad considering Raheem Sterling alone is worth more than the whole Swansea team. Anyhow Onwards and Upwards lets hope we can get our first goal of the season soon preferably against Crystal Palace next.

Two new signing have came in.

An oldie Nivaldo Jardel 97 rated and a bargain at £1 million.

A youngster Marc Tenas for £120k from Atletico Madrid.

United travel to Huddersfield tonight looking for their first goal, win and dominant performance, tactics will be switched in the hope that we can find a bit of rhythm and chemistry to earn us our first win.

Not quite in a panic just yet but with the attacking talent in the side, it’s slightly worrying that in 180 minutes of football, Haaland, Rashford, Martial, Fernandes and Pogba amongst others have yet to find the net. On the other hand, the new look defence has been rock solid and we hope that continues. Back to back clean sheets have papered over the problems at the other end so far. Big night ahead!
