TomOwen 8,151
Re: European Nations Transfer/Match Report Thread Barcelona News Henry Out! Barcelona have accepted a deal from Tottenham Hotspur involving French superstar Thierry Henry. Henry was no longer needed at Nou Camp as he was transfer-listed for a fee of 30M two days ago. And Spurs was the first team to bid and their price was 28M, Pham thought no more and accepted the deal immediately. Thierry Henry has never been first choice at Barcelona, he is the fifth choice striker behind Ronaldinho, Eto'o and two young stars Lionel Messi and Mario Gomez. Henry has only scored two goals this season, and played just five matches with just over 350 minutes, not very impressive for a French international, and Henry decided to move on. Tottenham Hotspur were the first to reply and they got their star, Thierry Henry will be a Spurs' player in a few hours time if he pasts the medical. ((Thierry Henry is back in London!)) MrNiceGuy 649
Re: European Nations Transfer/Match Report Thread Blackburn 3 - Chelsea 3 Blackburn Rovers manager Mr Nice Guy was devastated after seeing his side waste a 2 goal advantage, leading 3-1 with only half an hour left to play, allowng Chelsea to score two quick goals and having to settle for a point. A win would have lifted Blackburn out of the bottom three, although a point has atleast kept them in touch with the other teams, with only 3 points seperating 4th to 8th. Insider 11,470
Re: European Nations Transfer/Match Report Thread Holy smokes, won without Tamudo. Will have to do the same next match, without Modric. Interesting note to BenReado... Maldini has noticed you left him off the list, and took off his shirt after his goal, to reveal a t-shirt saying : Take THAT, BEN! It is his 4th of the season, he is 8th in Europe. SANTANDER are now in the promo zone. Uh oh. I have a feeling that won't last long, as REAL are next.

milessurrey 326
Re: European Nations Transfer/Match Report Thread Bilbao are very pleased after drawing against Zaragoza 1-1, the only team left unbeaten. Jesus LaCruz scored for Bilbao, in only his 2nd game for the club. The game was evenly matched and in the end Diego Milito scored to tie the game. This great result against such a mighty team leaves Bilbao sitting in 7th place. Villareal will be Bilbao's next opponent, a tough team with a lot of pride, but are also struggling at the bottom of the table like Bilbao. Bilbao will keep an eye on Cazorla Santi, the player Bilbao are gonna chase in the end of the season for his signature.
