Denmark should have had the game done and dusted in the first half. Superb performance by them and they didn't deserve to lose.

Denmark deserved more indeed. What a game from Damsgaard!

But it still says something that we aren't playing on our normal level and still we won 2 times.

Okay Denmark was very good and deserved more but the goals Belgium made were pure quality as well.

Absolutely. It might almost help you that de Bruyne, Witsel and Hazard can be eased back in to the starting lineup.

We still need to be safe against Finland with those 3 players... But we need to be collectively good if we want to go far...

You have the advantage of being able to play them as you have pretty much secured the group. Ideal game to give them more minutes.

That would make sense. It's an ideal game to give players minutes as they may be needed later on in the tournament.

Indeed Vermaelen, Doku, Chadli and Batshuayi/Benteke. Those 4 needs some minutes in my opinion.

Maybe let De Bruyne start as 8 and bring Tielemans in around minute 60. Doku instead of - invicible - Mertens. Chadli in when Thorgan Hazard or Thomas Meunier will be injured...

Vertonghen gets some rest and Vermaelen in.

My ideal team and subs against Finland if it's possible:

1. Courtois

2. Alderweireld

3. Denayer

4. Vermaelen

5. Meunier

6. Dendoncker (Axel Witsel +- 55' or 60' in)

7. De Bruyne (Youri Tielemans +- 60' in)

8. Chadli

9. Doku (Praet, Trossard or Mertens 80' in)

10. Carrasco (Eden Hazard 46' in)

11. Lukaku (Christian Benteke 70' in)

If I was coach :)

That looks sensible to me as you've pretty much secured the group. You not think Martinez will be tempted to start Eden Hazard?

First game was 18 minuts against Russia. Today 30 minuts. It would be a good build up to go for 45 minuts. It's possible as starter but then I would bring Carrasco in the 2nd half in.

Carrasco needs also time to find his level from Atlético Madrid.

Belgium v Denmark (First half) - They won’t win the Euros, can’t string two passes together.

Belgium v Denmark (Second Half) - They are phenomenal, my favourites for the Euros 🤣

De Bruyne = Game changer, Hazard not bad either lol

Is Tierney back ?

Hendry wasn't good against Czech Republic so I agree.

Hendry is decent going forward but we were a bit exposed when he did which was highlighted by second goal. Marshall obviously at fault too.

Tierney being fit gives us a different attacking option as he is so good at breaking forward from deep. He is great in the under lapping centre back role plus can overlap Robertson when he stays back to cover for Tierney.
