Gozzy 10,758
Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread Bit dissapointed that we're out of the CL' date=' although it was pretty much over when we lost in Turin.Been impressed with Torres' work rate recently and thought he played well again in what was a good team performance, hopefully we take the Europa seriously. [b']I know it's always been that way, but imo, it's stupid how the CL group stage is done on head to heads over goal difference.[/b] Imo, goal difference is a far better system which encourages teams to try and score as many goals as possible and thus creates more exciting football. Surely if you win against Juve and has same points with Juve but still failing to through because Juve score 10 goals against Nords, you'll be flustered right?? IMO,head to head is the fairest method to decide who go through as if the decider is goal difference, the possibility of match fixing is bigger ruggermad

He is but misused IMO..anyway he's banned for 3 matches and fined after threatening Clattenburg in the match official's changing room-after believing he was racial abused by the referee. [in a personal hearing on Thursday the FA's Independent Regulatory Commission accepted that the player had genuinely believed the referee had racially abused him. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20631964Hope it's not made a bigger issue than it is-as he admitted he was wrong and his actions were based on a false premise. Possession football is pop right now so anyone whose identity is based around passing will be given a chance. Even if they're not very good. He's always had the ability to score goals (he's lost some pace an movement), he's just lacked the desire which now seems to be changing.
Bradford 835
Re: Official Chelsea FC Thread 3-0, Mata scores it but Torres' contribution was huge. So pleased he took the first time shot, in the past he would of taken lots of touches and ended up trying to pass back or trying to hit it on his right and probably losing the ball. This time he hit it first time with his left and hit the bar for Mata to slot home. Let's keep this going .

He knows the passes which Torres thrives on.
