I live in Stourport which is 2 miles from Kidderminster in the West Midlands I'm sure Ben's heard of it.

I knew nothing of it till about this morning at 9 oclock after my dad told me :D

I would of slept all the way through it if my lamp hadnt hit me on my head from the bedside table :) Then of course the missus got up, and she got up jumping around shouting and all sorts the silly woman - I said calm down dear its only poltergeists and it made her even worse! now she thinks weve got ghosts in the house haha.... gold old women.

Not often I comment on these types of things but with the earthquake last

night it really makes you think...

With all the news on TV lately about the hurricanes that America is

experiencing, the typhoons in China, flooding in Switzerland Snow in Greece,and recent mud slides in South America, we shouldn't forget that the UK has its share of devastating natural disasters too.

Here's a photo illustrating the damage caused to my garden from the

earthquake that occurred last night.

It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take

things for granted.

i was just woken in my sleep by an earthquake which shook things off my desk and my pillows off my bed, thought i was fitting or being attacked but it was a long lasting earthquake.

Quick question - How did we get affected by an earthquake?

Didn't take Geography, but don't u have to be on the edge of the plates to be directly affected?
