Re: TomOwen's Italian Rating Changes-Full Report

I thought Seedorf was expected to fall b/c he's not playing particularly well and Milan's league position is terrible. Still, Tom has him for an increase even. Do you think that it's really possible. Doesn't it seem much more likely that he'll stay or could even fall???

Re: TomOwen's Italian Rating Changes-Full Report

From what iv heard he is going to decrease.

Why should he be spared, not many other high profile Milan players will. IMO he is not a 95. Infact imo it would be absurd for him to increase. Milan are doing poor in the league, not in CL anymore ( which is what Milan do. .. . play in the CL )and look like a shadow of there former selves. Seedorf, Nesta, gattusso, pirlo all to decrease i reckon

I agree:)

The Milan players must be slaughtered:p just like how the Chelsea players were done.

Chelsea have had decreases in 2-3 rounds more than any other bigger team.

Around 65-80% of Milan players should decrease as well.

Yeah but the competition is much much better in Italy, so maybe not.:D

The ratings changes have nothing to do with which league is more competitive;)

A "GIANT" team like AC Milan performing in this way is a disgrace for the history of the club.

I don't blame Chelsea because they're new to the business of being a mighty club , but Milan they've been in it for ages.

Probably

the following should fall-

Dida , Cafu , Jankulovski , Seedorf , Gattuso , Pirlo , Emerson , Inzaghi .

Of course the Milan team won't be demolished by their ratings decrease, but a 1/2 point decrease will be enough for them now;)

Re: TomOwen's Italian Rating Changes-Full Report

just a question.. isn't optimistic hamsik break the 90's? i don't know how he has played but his team are in10th in Serie A.. and if you agree that isn't a good harbinger..

He has 30 starts & has netted 8 goals (quite good for a CM). I suppose you could argue that the reason Napoli is mid table & not lower is because of him.

He also plays (and starts) for his national team. He has 11 caps & 2 goals (at age 20, mind you).

Does he deserve a 90? I think so, but not 100% convinced SM will see it that way.

Yeah he's been marvelous- his first season in top flight football has been awesome.

But as you said , not sure how SM will increase him (by 1 or 2) mainly because of his team.

Re: TomOwen's Italian Rating Changes-Full Report

Agh, you guys are all confusing me now b/c I was convinced to sell him before, then spoke to a bunch of guys who told me to keep him, so I canceled a deal for 14 million for him, and now you guys are telling me to sell him. Nevertheless, I feel that SM doesn't make that many changes each round, many fewer than expected, and Seedorf has been playing better than that of most of the Milan stars, so maybe he will remain the same. Also, he is one of the better players right now and has a lower rating than those like Pirlo and Gattuso who are playing quite a lot worse.

Re: TomOwen's Italian Rating Changes-Full Report

what do people think of julio cesars rating hes inters no1 keeper with 38 games played this season and his team are sitting at the top of serie a. at only 93 he should be at least 94 if not 95

Yep, you can find my thoughts on the first page.

I think it's been a goalkeeper season so far with Buffon, Julio Cesar, Frey, Kalac and Doni (in that order imo) all in great form. All should get healthy raises (except for Buffon because of that no CL games thing:rolleyes: )

Re: TomOwen's Italian Rating Changes-Full Report

i think borrilo should dfnt get a increase. He is the top scorer in one of the best leagues in the world.

he has scored more goals then many higher rated players in the league. he might not be more involved and assited than di natalie or not as eligent as totti.

but he is a goalscorer.

reminds me of owen.you never see owen in a game but he gettes you goals.

other players in a the like him are for example trezguet.

borrilio has scored more goals than him.

if you look around europe he has been as good as adebayor(20goals)borilio(19goals)who is 92 rated.

SSC Napoli-Rank 10

Ezequiel Lavezzi-90-29-2570-7-2-90

I think Lavezzi will get a 91. Has been mightly impressive this season and has broken into the Argentina team now. Played a part in their last two or three games.
