Chelsea snap losing streak with a 3-1 win over arch-rivals arsenal

The chelsea fans heaved a sigh of relief as they finally ended a two match losing streak with a 3-1 hammering of london rivals arsenal to kick start their season. Ayush decided to give de rossi a much awaited debut as he packed the midfield in a 4-5-1 formation with drogba playing alone upfront & the tactic seemed to have paid dividends right from the start as chelsea suffocated arsenal's stylish game & hit hard on the counter & soon started dominating the game.hence it wasn't a surprise when essien & joe cole stuck twice in the 23rd & 24th minute to give chelsea a 2-0 lead. In the second half man of the match drogba made it 3-0 before di natale restored some pride for the home team with a consolation goal. On this win ayush commented " well this is a really special win for us & i dedicate it to the fans & hope we can have many more wins in the future"

Sevilla lose again

Sevilla have once again got beaten and this time it was by Spanish giants Barcelona. It is Sevilla's fourth defeat of the season.Sevilla have just managed one point this season and are out of the cup.

Things started off badly for Sevilla because after just 5 minutes there was an error in defence and Eto'o scored because of it.3 minutes later Henry smashed in a shot into the roof of the net.It looked like Barcelona were gonna put 4 or 5 goals past Sevilla but sevilla started fighting back.3 minutes after that Sevilla got themselves back into the game when Yakubu scored after a goalmouth scramble.Eto'o almost made it 3-1 but his shot hit the bar.Yakubu made it 2-2 after 21 minutes when he volleyed a shot past Valdes.Eto'o once again hit the bar and then 3 minutes later Henry's shot was cleared off the line.

The second half came and Adriano almost put Sevilla 3-2 up but his shot went just over.Messi almost got himself a goal but his shot hit the post.Sevilla did score a third goal and it was Yakubu's third. It was his first Sevilla hat-rick.That lead did not last long when Eto'o got himself another goal.Barcelona got there winning goal thanks to Afellay's late goal.

CHELSEA BEAT ARCH RIVALS LIVERPOOL 1-0 IN A ONE SIDED AFFAIR!!!!!!

Chelsea responded to their manager's call for a consistent display by completely outplaying a strong liverpool squad 1-0 as drogba scored the fastest goal in the setup history as he beat liverpool's offside trap to latch on to a brilliant ball by de rossi & produced a superb finish. the score is quite kind to the reds as they were tactically outplayed by the blues who seemed the hungrier of the two sides and only some great keeping by the reds keeper kept the score respectable as chelsea dominated the possession & reds could answer with just 1 shot on goal to the blues 8. This victory made the blues fans happy and they are sure that their club is in the right hands. On the victory Ayush commented " well such wins really boost the squads confidence & now they are sure they can go ahead & win the league" however being a perfectionist he wasn't happy with the conversion rates " well we had several chances to put the match to bed but are finishin let us down sometimes & it made me feel that we cud end up regretting this but thankfully our defence was just too tight for liverpool to get any joy out of it "

Drogba won his 3rd man of the match award of the season for a great game.

Sevilla finally win

Sevilla finally picked up three points this season. There first win of the season came against German giants Bayern Munchen.Sevilla who had just 1 point going into this game looked like they would lose again as Bayern are a very strong team at home.

Sevilla dominated the game again. The Sevilla fans have been great so stick with Daniel as there manager and the head of Sevilla's supporters group said that Daniel is a young manager and we are gonna give him time before we start to doubt weather he can do this job.We now he can do it just give him time.

Sevilla did not have many chances in the first half and there was no great chances for Bayern eiter but they did look like they would score sometimes.Sevilla's first real chance fell to Duda andhe smakced his shot off the bar. That was the last chance of the first half.

The second half came and Sevilla broke the deadlock when Luis Fabiano was played threw and he slotted the ball past Kahn for his second goal of the season.Just two minutes later Freddie Kanoute made it 2-0 with a well placed header after a fantastic cross was played into him. That was his first goal of the season. There wasn't really any other chances until the end of the game when Micheal Owen scored a cracker from 25 yards for Sevilla's third and his second of the season.

ESPANYOL stun JUVE

Daniel Guiza's shock 5th minute strike left the result an unlikely 1-0 as the espanyol supporters went wild in celebrations.

The manager had this to say,"I believe we deserved to win this game and thankfully we took our chances or that would have come back to haunt us against a quality side like Juve. But this result was tough on the thin squad and I have to ring in changes for the Everton game.Yes I am confident of beating them and then we can hopefully challenge for the second place only 3 points away. Also I am looking forward to loaning in any forwards available for the remainder of this season."

CLASSY CHELSEA EDGE OUT GUTSY BETIS IN A CLASSIC CUP ENCOUNTER

Chelsea came from a goal behind to beat a well organised Real Betis in a cup classic in which the underdogs betis playing in from of their supporters took the lead against the run of play when Pavone thumped in a low drive in the start of the second half. But Ayush showed why the Chelsea fans adore him as "THe special one" as he immediately bought in attacking substitues in the form of di santo, diego capel & anelka to completely change the route of the game as the blues lay seige to the betis goal & this finally payed dividends as david villa returning from suspension hit a superb volley from just inside the box to equalise. But the Blues continued attacking as their manager pushed them on and the betis defence were literally forced into submission as another driving run by youth prodigy diego capel led to a fantastic goal for the young winger showing why Ayush invested a whopping 8 mil. on the youngster. After this betis tried to attack a bit more but makelele commanded the midfield with aplomb leaving no chances for betis to take. At the end of the match a very pleased Ayush commented " well i am very happy for the team as they showed admirable fighting qualities against a stubborn betis team which finally cracked open. I am very pleased by the performance of winger capel. he really showed geniune skills that he possesses."

David villa earned the man of the match & was substituted with a standing ovation by even the betis fan.

david-villa-2.jpg

next up for the blues are manchester city in the cup but before that they have to tackle a tough away game against betis's rivals sevilla & it seemed Ayush had an eye for that game as he rested all his starting 11 from the match against liverpool.

Post Match Interview With Everton Manager Grant Thame.

"I think the team played well but I'm not shocked as Inter Milan beat us they had the better team but it always better luck next season for the cup if I gave my team a match of the match just for my team as being the manager I would give it to Tim Howard even he letted 2 goals in but he was the star man in my book for the team this game."

ARSENAL NEWS!

Still nursing the pains of their 3 - 1 home defeat at Chelsea, their first of the season, Arsenal were determined to get back to winning ways and they did so as they defeated Rangers in style away from home.

It was a good match, but Arsenal could not be stoped by such a team.

429.gif 0 - 2 1.gif

It was basically a training match.Rangers, in the rare moments they handled the ball, were sloppy and inefficent, whereas Arsenal were focused.

The scoring started in the 9th minute, when Di Natalie burst into the ox and slid home from 7 yards out.

rangers started to attack, firing shot after another, but they were ineffective, as Almunia parried shot after shot.

Then, in the 65th minute, Di Natalie strolled into the box and netted casually, killig off the game and getting only two shots on goal.

Arsenal controlled the possesion as well, but it was really a practice match for Arsenal.

Next match pits Arsenal against Real at home, who ar

e bottom of the table.

Got a brace for Arsenal.
