Porto Sunk By Late Garcia Strike

Zaragoza Won Again Tonight 2-1 Against FC Porto, Thanks To Two Goals From, Recently Put Back In The Team, Fuente Sergio Garcia. Garcia's Goals Came On 29 minutes Thanks To Some Great Skill And His Second Goal Came 8 Minutes From Time. Porto Scored A Minute From Time To Leave A Tense Final Few Minutes But They Couldnt Find Another As Zaragoza Won Their Second Game In A Row.

Zaragoza Were Largely Outplayed Over The 90 Minutes With Us Only Having 6 Attempts On Goal Compaired To Porto, Who Peppered The Zaragoza Net With 21 Attempts. Porto Also Shaded The Possesion But Couldnt Beat The Zaragoza Defence More Than Once.

As The Zaragoza Manager, I Can See Improvements And Hope To Continue Seeing These And Getting More Crucial Points Like This In A Battle To Stay In The Division.

Fiorentina make it two wins in a row

Fiorentina were looking to pick up all three points tonight just like they did against high flying Stuttgart on the weekend. They had to travel to Spain tonight against a unmanaged Atletico Madrid.

After just eight minutes Fiorentina's top scorer Jose Sand almost added to his six goals he has this season when he headed the ball off the woodwork.Ibanez Pablo had a shot hit the woodwork aswell in the first half. Two minutes before half-time Gamberini had his shot cleared off the line by Pablo.

The second half came and the first real chance fell to Jose Sand and he took his chance after a inch-perfect cross was headed in by him. This was the Argentinians seventh goal of the season.

Fiorentina knew that they would need to score a second just to put them in the comfort zone and they almost got it when Gamberini had an open goal and he blazed it over somehow.Fiorentina did get a second goal to wrap up all three points when Jose Sand took advantage of a goalmouth scramble and scored his eight this season and his second of the game.

Sand celebrating his second and the winner for Fiorentina

Fiorentina who had a bad start to the season managed to turn the season around and are lien in third place and looking like a team who should be playing division 1 football.Fiorentina are five points clear of fifth place Hamburger and are five points behind league leaders Stuttgart.

Fiorentina play fellow promotion seekers Schalke on Sunday and if Fiorentina can pick up three points they could move into second depending on the score.

Roma lift Division 3 title!

Roma have been crowned the Division 3 champions of the Grudge Match Set-up with 1 game left in the season, despite being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea. Roma were able to lift the trophy following the match due to Valencia suffering a 3-0 defeat at home to Lyon, whilst Arsenal were unable to take anything away from the Nou Camp following a 2-1 defeat to Barcelona. All that means that Roma move 4 points clear at the top of the table, and with just the one game to go, the result of the game against 2nd placed Valencia on Wednesday will be a matter of just pride.

Roma manager Mr. Nice Guy was in jubilant mood following the game, stating:

"I'm still struggling to believe it to be honest, at 1-1 I thought we were going to let our lead slip and mean we would have to avoid defeat if not require victory in the final game. To hear that both Arsenal and Valencia lost was a huge shock, but whilst i'm sure both of those teams are devastated, words cannot even begin to describe the delight it has brought to this club, the players, the fans and the staff."

"It has been a hard season, we've had to pit our wits against some fantastic teams and managers, and to come out on top in the division is truly an outstanding achievement for this club"

"One of the best part of our season is also the success of our signing Ezquiel Lavezzi, whose 12 goals in only 16 games has not only been a crucial factor to this achievement, but also a huge boast to the SPL/European Fans in the set-ups competition, being our star player."

\EDIT: Sorry guys, got ahead of myself there, 26 games in season not 22 so the celebrations are on hold!! lol

Amazing Comeback By Stuttgart!

At one point Stuttgart had a 10+ point lead over the rest of the division, but they went on a run of no wins in 7, which put them behind Schalke, and since then they have been chasing their German counterparts. And last night the pressure finally told, as Schalke fell to a second loss in a row, and with Stuttgart claiming a 2-1 win over PSV, Schalke were overtaken by Samra's team!

VFB Celebrate League 2 win!

Samra has promised that players will be added to the squad, so they can look for cup success too!
