Oh right cheers man. United are already sorted for strikers and are bidding 20mil for Berbatov, i would really doubt theyd spend another 30 odd on another striker.

It would make more sense seeing as weve only got about 4 strikers really, Adebayor (soon to leave), Van Persie (constantly on crutches), Eduardo (injured) And bendtner (cough cough) With theo playing on the right instead of ebouesless B) But who knows?

i heard that Arsenal will sell Adebayor to Barça for 20Millions+Eto'o.

WHAT!!!

ETO'O FOR ADEBAYOR!!!!

What the....

First of all Eto'o is better than Adebayor IMO.

And second of all 20m? Arsenal could buy Arshavin with that!!!

Cardiff Close in on Bent

Cardiff are poised to complete the signing of striker Marcus Bent from Championship rivals Charlton.

The Bluebirds claim they have agreed a fee for the 30-year-old' date=' who is expected to undergo a medical at Ninian Park on Monday before joining up with their pre-season trip to Portugal.

Bent spent last season on loan at Wigan, scoring seven goals in the Premier League, but a permanent move to the JJB Stadium fell through.

Addicks manager Alan Pardew admitted Bent and fellow forward Chris Iwelumo are set to leave The Valley following his side's 6-0 pre-season friendly win over Ebbsfleet on Saturday.

"Cardiff have expressed interest in Marcus, but at the moment he remains our player. There is interest in him from other clubs as well," he said.

"We have some players leaving this weekend. Chris (Iwelumo) is possibly leaving and so could Marcus Bent."

Iwelumo has been linked with a move to south London rivals Crystal Palace.[/color']

Widdy

Iwelumo signed for Wolves this morning.

And there's talk that Bent has snubbed Cardiff and is now in talks with Birmingham.

If it's true.

Why is Mcleish buying forwards all the time. We need defenders!

Juventus have officially confirmed the signature of Sevilla midfielder Christian 'the instigator' Poulsen. Hang on, he's joining Juve:o ... sorry he's not an instigator, Totti is just a bad boy. I guess it'll give Totti another chance to spit on him :)

Juve fans unveiled a banner at the pre-season training camp that read: ‘You’re ridiculous! Poulsen is another flop.’

Welcome to Juve Christian:rolleyes:

To be fair he's not a bad player and can move them forward, especially if Davis is signed too. They'll form a great partnership, one which, imo, could be the heart of a surviving team if the team is built well around them.

Totally agree. I think this is an excellent signing for Hull.
