Re: Graphics Design Feedback

There are some great paint.net tutorials:

http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16799-faith-signature-tutorial-render-sig/

That is where I got the background from

Go on paint.net forums and there are some good tuts ;)

Thanks:)

After looking at a numer of tutorials i came out with this sig:

NAI.png

Still probably a bit too big although that is improved and i think my text is much better.

My main problem is the backround whick i will try and improve.

Not to sure about this' date=' opinions?

I've seen you do much much better

Blend the render with the texture

Don't like the texture doesn't go well with the render

Render placement is good

Don't like the clouds

Render looks a little LQ

Text is too simple and too close to the render

White text hard to see against white jersey of render

Re: Graphics Design Feedback

Latest sig i made:

LIVERPOOL.png

Also i improved my own sig:

another%20PAOK%20sig.png

Im taking requests here is anyone wants one.

How could i improve my backrounds?

Nice sigs mate' date=' but on the Liverpool sig I don't like the text that is used for the players names and for the PAOK sig I don't like the badge placement, maybe it would be better behind the player and bigger :)

Thanks for the feedback.

I like the Ava, normally text doesn't work but it fits in well. Good job:)

BUMP!!:P

A few avatars I am looking for opinions on :)

BiffyClarkfinished-KyleWalker.jpgWayneRooneyBiffyClark-finished.jpgKatyPerryfinished.jpgDimitarBerbatovfinished.jpg

Sahafinished.jpg

Sorry' date=' I know theres more than a few :P[/quote']

good work lad, great colour and use of layers on the Saha/Berbatov ava's......the placement is great on the Katy Perry one aswell.

The other two are still nice but look like they need a little more work, the rooney one looks over saturated to me and the stock on the Taarabt ava looks LQ.

Keep up the good work though kiddo, some crackin stuff there;)

Re: Graphics Design Feedback

Hey guys' date=' I haven't done any graphics in like 6months but wanted to like an advertisement that you see in newspapers for my thread. I hope you like it :o

[img']http://i55.tinypic.com/14y517m.jpg[/img]

It's not a signature or banner it's just an image of an advertisement

I quite like it mate, it is fairly simple but everything works well and it looks very good. Not much you could improve on as it is great for what you are using it for:)

Cheers Adam, I only started designing again last night, quite liked doing it so tried my first ever PIAD (if that's how you spell it, it's not brilliant but for my first try it's decent-ish.)

Very good for a first go although the head is to big and the rendering on the top half of negrado's head isn't great.

What tutorial did you use?

some of the main things I try to get right when doing PIADS is the angle of the head needs to go with the body and the lighting has to be right or it will never look correct, no matter how well sized it is.

a little tip is to copy and paste the shoulders and collar of the shirt above the head layer, it makes it alot easier to blend ;)
