attacking mid

Recommended Posts

if they are just an attacking mid (as opposed to am/cm) then i think they would be better in a formation that offers that position (like the 3-4-1-2).

i find that playmakers work well if it is set to a highly rated midfielder.

yeh true but u can also place them in a 4-4-2 formation, make them as ur cm. that also works but as mentioned, play them wer they play best!!

what's the best place to put an attacking mid? Just behind the forwards (as in the 1 of the 3-4-1-2 formation)?

Do they do well in a regular midfield position?

Should they be designated as playmakers?

thanks

I use them in the 4-4-(1)-1 formation. The AM is the one in brackets.Generally speaking, they do well for me as playmakers in that position.

yes but wat im trying to say is that' date=' it wont hurt them playing in centre mid. its like asking cristiano ronaldo to play at LEFT midfield!![/quote']

I too have played an AM as a CM and he's done well for me. :)

At the end of the day he is a M ... and therefore can be played as a CM, just like a DM can be played there. Although I have always found a DM to perform better in a 4-1-4-1 line up.

Cheers,

Herby

i agree with herby. although can i just add i find the AM and the DM work well in the diamond formation (4-1-2-1-2). i use this formation with a few teams.
