OMG W T Hell I knew it had some nudity in it but this is way stronger than I thought it would be especially as it's got some good actors in it Malcolm McDowell, Peter O'Toole, Helen Mirren. I seen soft porn films (whilst flicking through the tv channels ) with less graphic nudity in it than this. So far its been OK but surely it calms down a bit on the nudity front and concentrates on the plot??

Allan-NI 10,006
Re: Rate/Discuss Recent Films You HAVE Seen Really really enjoyed John Wick. I enjoyed it too, they kept it simple and full of action, like me did you find it better than The Equalizer? I watched Furious 7, mainly because of Paul Walker death, I wanted to see how the film would develop without him. It was as you expect loads of action and little realism, but for some reason it works well, probably my favourite of the series. The ending was emotional and a great tribute to Paul, you could really see Vin Diesel struggling in the final scenes. KYQS

Maxpayne 11,112
Re: Rate/Discuss Recent Films You HAVE Seen The ff trailer was ok, but the doom shot is way overrated, people give it way too much praise, if you think about it, his back story is still that same one people (me included) arent very fond of, we always knew they were going to make him look badass, but as TASM2 teaches, looks are useless if the back story of the characters is weak and/or stupid. All in all i like the Effects on the ff guys (aside from the thing, didnt like his face), also it didnt really tell us anything new about the story aswell, but we did get abit more character development among the ff. All in all, as i said at the start, the trailer was ok,but Nothing more imo, definetly expected more from a second official trailer in terms of definining the story and the villain, i mean, if you compare the BvS trailer (which is the first one) we already got a sense of the overall story, a good look at the 'villain' (Batman) and at his motives, and it made it alot more fulfilling imo. footie 4,479
Re: Rate/Discuss Recent Films You HAVE Seen I don't think Fantastic Four is ever close to the Avengers (which is Marvel's pot of gold), so if anything they (F4) will be joined by Luka Cage from the tv series, Ant-Man or Spiderman. Hopefully it isn't a flop. For Star Wars 7, they knew the fans hated the futuristic backgrounds in 1-3 so they are going back to old fashioned backdrops with updated designs on the storm troopers, tie fighters etc. BvS isn't giving too much away at the moment, but if anyone reads one of the best selling comics in The Dark Knight Returns will know neither Batman or Superman is/was the villain. I didnt mean Batman will be actually a bad guy, but in the eyes of the audience and even by how it is gettign marketed, you do get the feeling like Batman is the antagonist as he is obviusly going against the good guy, who has proved to be good in 'Man of Steel'. You have to consider that the casual movie going audience doesnt go and rread the batman returns and all other batman/superman related comic books, so they base their idea on just the movies/trailers alone. Im just trying to give an opinion from a solely movie/trailer going perspective, otherwise it would make little sense, seeing how you already know how it ends up in the comics. The Art of The Steal Taken 3 Take this Waltz Charlie Countryman Wrecked The Experiment Last Knights Cosmopolis ACOD All the film set to watch in the next few weeks' date=' anyone got other suggestions and or reviews on this list?[/color'] I liked The Art of The Steal, good movie but not a great movie. Haven't done this for a while, might as well do it now. Interstellar Coming from someone who knows science, I thought this was a really well done movie. Nolan made a great movie again, and this might be his best yet. I did feel that the last scenes were a bit overdone though. But overall, great movie. 9.7/10 The Imitation Game The movie is good, but I feel that they gave too much credit to Alan Turing. And they(those 5) didn't choose what information was sent out. Historical accuracy 6/10 Overall Movie 7.7/10 The Day of The Jackal A thriller that centers on the assassination attempt and the attempts to thwart it of the French President Charles De Gaulle. I liked how the plot moved and ended, with a subtle emphasis on time. 8.9/10 More later

Mr E 3,117
Re: Rate/Discuss Recent Films You HAVE Seen Saw Age of Ultron a few nights ago. It's a fun film but I was pretty disappointed. Based on the trailers I was hoping they would develop a story that would rival Nolan's Batman films. Instead, it was just your typical superhero blockbuster riddled with far too many jokes. Dont get me wrong, it was enjoyable enough, but it wasnt anything special for me. I'd give it a 7/

I agree that the trailers and media hyped it up, be it due to the success of the first installment or not, I prefer Chris Nolan's trailers where he gives almost nothing away to the actual film and usually has the unknown factor that keeps people guessing. I am alright with the jokes. Mr E

87+ 2,415
Watched Ex Machina the other day. Good film and fit chick so ticks all boxes (Recommend watching this if you havnt done so) Also watched Gone Girl. Another good film but I can't help feel it could have been better without Affleck in it. Wyrmwood road. A zombie flick that is fairly recent but has the feel of something done in the eighties. Not bad but not great either. Its lighthearted rather than a full on serious one. Zombieland. Not bad and a lot better than I thought it would be. I was expecting something just plain stupid but it is more clever than that.
