Me, George and Tom have decided to have to give ourselves a challenge.

This is to get Luton Town (Sam), Bournemouth (George) and Rotherham United (Tom) who started on minus points this season, as far up the league rankings as possible.

This will have to require superb managment skills, and will be important what kind of players you bring in.

so can Sam, George and Tom do it?

Can they really get Luton, Bournemouth and Rotherham in Division 1?

Because Jeff Stelling does

GeorgeECFC was named as Bournemouth manager at just after 5pm this evening as he turned down offers from several Premier League sides to manage the League 2 club.

Bournemouth moved quickly to secure 3 loan signings, the Manchester United trio of Ben Foster, Jonny Evans and Manucho.

Around 9 bids have been put in to add some more depth to the squad and it's likely most current players will find themselves on the way out soon.

Bournemouth haven't been as active as they hoped in the transfer market despite bringing in 7 new players to Dean Court. Rodríguez Ledesma Pedro, Christopher Schorch, Sascha Studer, Diego Orlando Suarez, Gastone Bottini and Francesco Bolzoni and Dean Moxey all joined yesterday morning.

With some youth now in the squad Bournemouth will look to add some vital experience before the season opener at Port Vale on Saturday.

Before yesterday's first game of the season, Bournemouth managed to bring in 7 more players to their new look squad, and all brought some experience to the team.

Carlos Morales, Russell Latapy, Roar Strand, Ronny Johnsen, Ever Palacios, Andrey Tikhonov and Ivica Vastic all signed short term contracts with the division 4 club.

Port Vale 1-3 Bournemouth

In a side full of players making their debuts, it was veteran midfielder Darren Anderton who scored the opener as he picked up a short corner to curl it round the unsighted keeper. Loanee Manucho soon headed home the 2nd and Ivica Vastic grabbed the 3rd just before half time with a 25 yard shot flying past the keeper. Vale pulled one back in the 87th minute through Marc Richards but it was the impressive Bournemouth who took the points.

THE MINUS POINTS TRIPLE CHALLENGE UPDATE

With 11 games played so far this season, Luton Town Manager Sam Warren, Bournemouth Manager GeorgeECFC and Rotherham United Manager Tom Greenfield, have been trying to push their side up the table, and into a possible promotion push at the end of the season.

It has been up and down for all 3 teams, but this is what has happened so far this season.

519_luton.JPG

Luton have had the better start out of the 3 clubs, who currently sit in 4th place, and are only 3 points behind the leaders Northampton Town.

A Play off spot is gaurenteed if they can hold there place in 4th, but Manager wants more than a play off spot, as he quoted that his team are pushing for a Automatic Promotion spot.

Warren's side have won 5 drawn 3 and faced defeat 3 times, which is a steady and healthy start to the season, but Luton are currently lacking a high goal difference, which they will be targetting to rise.

Warren's signing of the season, has got to be on loan striker, The Duke, Nathan Ellington. He has lead Warren's side right from the start of the season, and if Warren can keep the Duke Occupied, then we could see the man who scored 38 goals for Wigan.

Ellington is the leading light for Luton.

Bournemouth have probably been the most disapointing out of the 3 sides alot was expected when George took over as manager, and as well has bringing in 14 new players with him, Bournemouth fans were expecting.

But George just hasn't been able to get it going this season, as his side currently sit in 10th place, which really is an understatment for this side, who should really be looking for a play off spot at the very least. In reality though, George's men are only 3 points adrift fom the play offs, so a win could lift them into 6th place, so all is not lost their.

Bournemouth have tasted victory 4 times this season, drew 2 and lost 5, which they really need to improve, but they do have a healthy Goal Difference.

George's signing of the summer has got to be 28 year old Uryguian Foward Carlos Morales, who has managed 3 goals in 6 games, and i one of the top strikers in the division at this moment in time,

but the question is, can Bournemouth push for Promotion?

Tom Greenfield and his Rotherham army have made a very steady start to the season, winning 4 games out of 6 is there current form, and they will definatley be in for a chance of a Play off spot.

These were sat above Luton Town, until last night when they slumoed to defeat, but Tom Greenfield will be feeling confident about his sides chances of promotion, who has a very strong and physical side, who are tough to beat.

Rotherham have won 5 drew 2 and lost 4, which is a steady record at this time of the season, and are sat in a good position, and are only 1 point from Warren's Luton side. The only thing that is keeping Greenfield's side out of the Play off spots is goal difference.

Rotherham's player of the season so far has to be winger Alex Rhodes, who has managed to score 6 goals this season, and is looking in really fine form currently, and has the potential to be a very good player.

Bournemouth Update:

9_1197341021.gif

After the £3 million signing of Manucho from Manchester United, Bournemouth have won their past 8 games and now sit at the top of division 4 but are now £1.1 million in debt.

Sam's Luton are 2nd on the same points but Bournemouth's goal difference of 41 puts them top.

Hopefully get promoted, a stadium increase and a few million to get out of debt with at the end of season, surely that isn't too much to ask for? :D
