FK Moskva

26th October 2008

BBC Sport have announced that FK Moskva are preparing to launch a bid for Nancy's left winger Chris Malonga (87). The 21 year old Congolese is held in high regard by FK Moskva manager Jason Thackham and it remains to be seen whether Aaron Mahil will be prepared to let one of his youngest prospects leave Marcel-Picot.

Malonga is held in high regard by Thackham.

27th October 2008

Nineteen year old, Aleksandr Marenich (67), has left FK Moskva to join up with German outfit Erzgebirge Aue. Marenich was deemed surplus to requirements at the Torpedo Stadium and whilst Erzgebirge Aue are looking to improve their youth squad, the deal came as a benefit to both sides with FK Moskva receiving around £20,000 for his services.

FK Moskva have had an undisclosed transfer bid rejected for Fabian Delph (75) of Leeds United this afternoon. Leeds have stated they want to see how Delph develops over the coming years but it remains to be seen whether they can hang on to his services with Sheffield United, Newell's Old Boys and Plymouth Argyle also in the hunt for the teenager's signature.

30th October 2008

Forward player, Artem Varakin (77), has swapped Russia for England this afternoon as he signs for Keith Jenks' Burton Albion. It is felt that although a decent enough squad player, Thackham is looking to get rid of those that aren't going to offer strong challenges to the regular starting eleven. The 26 year old did come at a price though with Burton splashing out a cool £550,000 for his services.

1st November 2008

Russian League - Division 2 - Match Day 1 of 36

1. Zhevnov (87)

2. Kuzmin (87)

3. Stoica (87)

4. Jop (87)

5. Godunok (87)

6. Rebeja (86)

7. Samedov (87)

8. Ivanov (86)

9. Bracamonte (86)

10. Maxi Lopez (87)

11. Bystrov (87)

In a game that could and should have produced a much more positive scoreline for FK Moskva, the players had to fight their way to a draw following a red card for Pompiliu Stoica on 32 minutes after two bookable offences. Thackham was hoping for a dream start against Spartak Nalchik but was still content with the solitary point. Viorel Frunza gave the unmanaged side the lead after just 12 minutes after a terrible back pass from Stoica fell short and the Moldovian grabbed the opportunity with both hands. The red card then seem to condemn FK Moskva to defeat but they came out fighting and despite their one man deficit still controlled the game with 60% of the overall possession. The equalising goal came on 35 minutes through the talented Petr Bystrov although there wasn't much talent about the goal after poking it in from 3 yards following a goal-mouth scramble. Despite FK Moskva's overwhelming possession, both sides had a similar amount of chances on goal and had FK Moskva bought their shooting boots with them, it is likely all three points would have been taken back to Moscow but Thackham remains optimistic and is looking forward to the visit of Metalurh Donetsk on November 5th.

2nd November

The third departure in from the Torpedo Stadium in the space of one week has seen Jerry-Christian Tchuisse (80) pack his bags and move to Czech outfit Mlada Boleslav for a cool £654,500. The 33 year old Cameroonian was not considered a likely inclusion for the first team during the current campaign with Oleg Kuzmin (87), Roman Hubnik (84) and Kirill Nababkin (83) all in front of him in the pecking order. We are still waiting to see whether Thackham will choose to move in the transfer market this campaign and following yesterday's obvious lack of fire power, we may see a highly rated striker arrive over the coming days.

How did you manage to get a 91 for cash!?:eek:

Why did you not play Simao or Maxi Rodriguez... and you didn't put out a full strength team for your important opening fixture that really does confuse me when you have a great team!

12_front_small-1.gifPreston NE 1-6 Norwich City kityellow.gif

Norwich City came into this match on a high after their opening league fixture win against Charlton Athletic and Preston North End were on a low after they lost in a 5-4 thriller against Plymouth.

Norwich got off to a flyer when Jason Roberts scored in the 5th minute of the game after a superb cross from the wing. Then Norwich fans had to wait 21 minutes before seeing their side double their lead through on-loan wonderkid Jose Sosa.

Half Time : 0-2

Just two minutes after the restart Preston's Paul McKenna rifles a shot in off the woodwork to make it 1-2. Then in the 54th minute Leroy Lita strikes to score his second goal in as many games. 3 Minutes later Brazillian Alberto Claiton scores on the half-volley to get his second of the season, then just one minute later Jason Roberts bags his second goal of the game with a superb header again! Then in the 64th minute Craig Fagan on-loan from Hull secures all 3 points for Rhys Hunt's men with a superb curling shot from 30 yards!

The only downside to the superb win for the Canaries was the injury to Lee Bowyer who has suffered a bruised head and will be out for up to 3 weeks, so Norwich manager Rhys Hunt said he is looking for a replacement in the matches that Bowyer will be out!

There is already a thread on this and there is no need to create another one just because it is inactive:rolleyes:

The other thread is in use for the match report so please do not create multiple ones.

2_front_small.gifBirmingham City 1-2 Norwich City kityellow.gif

Norwich City came into the match top of the table with so much confidence and they hoped to turn over promotion rivals Birmingham at St.Andrews. This match really was going to be interesting.

Rhys Hunt has clearly stated that this match is a must win for him and his team if they want to achieve their goal of reaching the EPL, he also said he really wants to win against Birmingham as they are one of the toughest teams in the division and it's away from home.

Norwich City got off to the great start that their manager wanted with Japanese winger Tadaaki Hirakawa scores in the 3rd minute when he runs around Birmingham's defence and chip the ball over the keepers head. Then just 9 minutes later Veteran Lee Carsley scores a rare goal to make it 1-1 and thats how it stayed going into half time.

Just 3 minutes after the restart Jason Roberts scores his 3rd league goal of the season and as it turns out that was the winning goal with Norwich and Rhys Hunt taking the full 3 points back to Norfolk.

Norwich City came into this game top of division two and they played 3rd place Swansea City at Carrow Road. Norwich won the match 1-0 after Jason Roberts bagged his 4th goal of the season when he scrambled the ball in after a goal-mouth scramble in the 26th minute and that was the winner. Now Rhys' men have won 4 of 4 games in the league this season.

Norwich City came into this fixture winning 4 of their last 4 games in the league as for Burnley who have been rather inconsistant with 2 wins and 2 losses. Rhys basically named a unchanged team to the team that beat Birmingham except Belgian International Wesley Sonck comes in for Leroy Lita.

Wesley Sonck turned out to be the hero for Rhys' men after he scored in the 7th & 48th minute of the game he also bagged the man of the match award, Alexandre Nei scored for Burnley but that did not effect the result of the match.

Monterrey move up to 5th place, just outside the SMFA Sheild places, after beating Toluca 3-0 tonight.

Goals came from the Monterrey Superstar Humberto Suazo, Jose Arellano and Walter Erviti.

Bentons team are starting to stand strong in the Mexican Division 1, considering not one player has been brought into the squad, but several have departed.

This meaning Monterrey are looking strong and have plenty of funds to build on their success.

Re: Gold Championship 39 Match Reports/News/Transfers Thread

ZiggysSig.jpg

Inter Milan had a tough clash today against A.C Milan. After a tricky SMFA game mid-week, Inter were forced to play their reserves. Realistically Redstall was looking for a point.

Internazionale dominated the match and took the lead through Herman Crespo but quickly lost it after Andrea Pirlo equalised only three minutes later.

Sully Muntari scored another before half time and Inter lead 2-1 at half time.

After an inspirational half-time team talk by the gaffer Inter totally dominated the the second half and after more goals from Stankovic, Adriano and another from Crespo, the final whistle blew with Inter running out 5-1 winners!

I was absoloutely delighted with the team today! We were disappointing against Arsenal in mid-week and i told the boys they had to perform today and show why they should keep their places in the first XI. They showed exactly how much depth we now have to our squad and this is a superb win! Its always good to get one over your greatest rivals, especially by a 4 goal margin!

The win now leaves Inter 2nd in the league and only a point behind league leaders Napoli and three points in front of Siena, Juventus and Udinense.

Re: Gold Championship 39 Match Reports/News/Transfers Thread

Robbie Keane scored a hatrick in tonights 8-0 thrashing of an underfit Spurs side at White Hart Lane, but now faces a week on the sidelines after picking up a slight injury.

This now only leaves Torres as the only class striker, so Liverpool are now seriously looking at the transfer market. With Alonso's departure expected in the next few days, some new faces are being sort to try and bring some depth to the Liverpool squad.
