*STAR PLAYER REMINDER*: THIS IS JUST TO LET ALL OF YOU KNOW YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO CHANGE YOUR STAR PLAYERS, 2ND OF NOVEMBER IS THE DEADLINE AS THAT IS WHEN THE 1ST MATCH OF THE SEASON IS. REMEMBER SINCE THE STAR PLAYER POINTS ARE BASED ON SCORING GLS, PROBS BEST IF YOU SET IT AS A STRIKER AND NOT A MID, UNLESS U HAVE LAMPS OR NASRI.

*TEAM NAMES*: Just an idea, i thought to add to the atmosphere, rather than havin Team 1,2,3,4,5,6 if any of you want to submit names for your teams rather than havin plain boring Team 1 and that, please feel free to do so, just as long as the rest of your team members agree with the name, cheers. :)

la Résistance Updates

Well the setup seems to be on its way, transfers have been taking place constantly and finally some teams have adopted names, most notably as of now once known as ''Team 4'' will now be recognized as ''Hail Hail the queens in jail'' according to article 54 in the Résistance and also ''Team 6'' will now be known as ''The Jinky Jives'' acknowledged by the high-chancellor in the Résistance who we regret to inform was hung today  What for you say? Well just because we can!! :D

Reminder: You still have time to change your star player, please let me know if you want to change it, cheers.

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

New Manchester United Manager Razz has taken the first few days to get to know his new allies in Anthony West, Kenneth McCandless and Paul Thame and he has realised that the group will be relying a little bit on him to get the results to help the group push for the season win - as he arguably has the strongest squad in a group that boasts the likes of FC Bayern Munich, Valencia and Tottenham Hotspur. Heres what the manager of the side said about possible team names and the group:

Well i think its a relatively strong group but the pressure will be on the likes of myself and Ant to get the bulk of the groups points as the other two teams arent as strong. But just because the squads arent strong doesnt mean Kenneth and Paul won't pick up points because there both quality managers and will put up a big fight. I had a good think about group names and didnt really come up with much other than RazzAnt-KenAul... lol... but ya know - theres still time to think of better names - thats just the one that popped out for me.

Razz's Manchester United Travel to, what should be a jam-packed, Vicente Calderon to meet a new - look Georges Atletico Madrid on the opening day of the La Resistance Championship.

thierry-henry-barcelona.jpg

AC Milan capture Thierry Henry!

Yes thats right the Arsenal legend has signed for a great club once more. He was critical of Liam Smith's management style stating that he felt his idea of training was a trip to Disneyland every week :?

Henry is a great player as we all know and will be in amongst the goals in helping Stefan 'Kinky Carrot' Hague in winning the title this season.

Also in the teams transfers the following players have gone out on loan to fellow Kinky Carrots to help bolster their already exquisite teams.

alexandre_pato_2_ap.jpg

Alexandre Pato joins Sporting Lisbon on loan to give him experience and goals.

56945.jpg

Phillipe Senderos also joins Pato at Sporting Lisbon

ambrosini.jpg

Sevilla have Ambrosini on loan after he wasn't happy of being left out of proceedings at Milan, he will help push Sevilla's push for the Division 2 title with fellow favourites AC Milan.

61947shevchenko.jpg

Finally to go out on loan is legendary Andriy Shevchenko as he will also go to Sevilla. He is a young up and coming player and doesn't quite make the starting line up but in the next coming years he expects to be the worlds greatest.

inzaghi.jpg

Finally Inzaghi is sold to Sporting Lisbon as he wasnt happy that his manager called him too inexperienced for the team and that Milan were looking for older players.

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

This Setup looks amazing, just because loads of Chatroomers are in it, AND because it belongs to Kylan ;) Kylans setups are always good only thou he has 2  But this one looks awesome, just a quick question about the points rule, what happens about wins in the cup etc. like against one of ur team members or a different one, would you still get 5 points for beating someone that isn't from you'r team?

Get back :D

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

Well, Sporting Lisbon havn't hesitated on signings:

Bringing in 2 players on loan from fellow group member AC Milan to bolster the attack and defence to stay up in division 1 as we are only a small team, but with a lot of talent, with the likes of Joao Moutinho in the heart of midfield and Miguel Veloso and Anderson Polga both in the middle of Defence keeping them hefty Strikers from scoring goals, with Liedson up front with inzaghi and hopefully Vagner Love by about 5:00pm today hopefully Arriving in portugal with David weir and veteran goalkeeper Brad Friedel.

As Sporting Lisbon Touchdown in Valencia's City Airport, there are 7,000 fans there to great them for the game against valencia on the 1st November.

Sporting Lisbon players and staff were Amazed by the support they got.

Sporting can believe they can come away from the Mestella with atleast a point.

Liedson2.jpg
