United Jump further points clear

Manchester United have moved 4 points clear of the 2nd Division table after a thumping 4-1 win over AS Roma overnight. an Early goal from Cristiano Ronaldo (just his 1st goal in over 8 matches) put them on there way, however it didnt all go to plan as Francesco Totti pulled an unwarranted equaliser 10 minutes from halftime. Wayne Rooney Squeezed a very Impressive Manchester United outfit back into the lead 5 minutes later to go into half-Time with a 2-1 lead. That 2-1 lead didnt last long as just before the hour mark Rooney struck again to give his side a comfortable lead. United were still not done as Centr back nemanja Vidic scored a beautiful header 10 minutes later to seal the much deserved win.

"I think we thoroughly deserved this win. We played very well from the first whistle and big credit go to the boys as were coming off of a disappointing 1-1 draw with inter last weekend and they responded very well. Rooney was exceptional tonight and Ronaldo played his best game for a long time. Unfortunately Patrice Evra will be sidelined for about 2 weeks with a Shin problem, but he could be back for the March 22 top 2 clash with Chelsea. Diego will be back for that match too but now we look towards Barcelona on Sunday Night, a game we cannot take for granted as they did us a great favor in holding Milan last night. Chelsea were also held so we have pulled away a little bit so we need to stay focussed and get the job done", Man United manager Razz speaks jubilantly about his sides display.

Yes its true sky sports were rushing to anfield today leaving alan shearer behind as liverpool annouce that the mad scottish git who had a stint at celtic is now back this time with liverpool and he has a point to prove. After tomus leaves them 2nd botom and doing rubbish kirby has promised the kop they will be brilliant again just after celtic gain promotion so he doesnt need to play them :D

Liverpool fans waiting for kirby to be unvailed at shankley gates.

Alan shearer thinking how could i be as briliant and as popular as nathan kirby.

Since kirby has come in all the sqaud is avalibe for P/E unless ur buying OAP then u can have them for cash. He also slated all his group expeciley jack saying he was an awful manager.

Kirby seen here in a local scottish newspaper advitising the new film "How not to support your club" Which is based on rangers football and will be realised in 2 months time, gave this short message......

Stewart joins Atletico as cover for Aguero!

749246.jpg

Atletico Madrid moved to sign 36 year old forward Marcus Stewart from Exeter City today for a fee of £200k to provide cover for the injured Sergio Aguero. Stewart has also been named as the side's temporary star man with Aguero once again facing another 3 weeks out - this time with a pulled calf muscle. With just 3 games left it means Stewart will have 3 chances to prove if he is still capable at the top level and if all goes well it could mean Aguero is left out of the starting line up next season.

Also arriving at the Vicente Calderón were John Arne Riise and James Milner. Riise was signed from Roma for £6 million whilst Milner joined from Aston Villa in a straight swap for Yoan Gouffran.

- la Résistance Season 3 changes -

As the second season of, la Résistance, comes to an end, the Ministry has hereby passed, 'Rule 156' after thorough consideration upon revising current rules, the rule idea was submitted by Razz.

thumbnailCA2OFM1W+reading+scroll+peng.jpg

'Rule 156'

- As of now the team that finishes 1st in the 'teams table' at the end of the season, for example as of current it would be, 'The Kinky Carrots', for the next season, that team will stay the same and defend there title, the remaining 5 teams will however be re-drawn into new teams, for some of you... you may find that you may still end up with being with some of the same teams from your previous team, for others you maybe find yourself in an entire new team. The draw will work exactly the same way it was when LR started, 1 team will be drawn from each of the 4 brackets as shown below, to make a team of 4.

- BRACKET 1: Manchester United, Internazionale, AC Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona.

- BRACKET 2: Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal, Roma, Lyon, Juventus.

- BRACKET 3: Valencia, Villareal, Sevilla, Fiorentina, FC Schalke, Atletico Madrid.

- BRACKET 4: Tottenham, Zenit St.Petersburg, Sporting Lisbon, Celtic, Manchester City, Udinese.

Well thats the new change, only 2 matches left in the 2nd season, so good luck, fight hard for those points, avoid relegation, and once the season is over, and the draw is done, be sure to post your 'Star Player' for the new season. VIVA la Résistance! :D

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

Man utd Manager plaudits his players

Manchester United manager Razz has complimented his side on a brilliant season that should wrap up with promotion to division 1 for next season. The current crop of United players have had a great season, Leading 2nd placed rivals Milan by a point and 3rd placed chelsea by 6 points with just 2 games to go. It means only a monumental downfall in there final 2 league games would see them playing second division football next season. Not only is there a 6 point gap for chelsea to overcome, but even then they must eclipse Uniteds current 4 goal difference advantage.

"I think weve done very well but now we dont want to slip up right at the end. Weve had a great season and now its time to leave Milan in there wake. We host Park Ji bang! teammates bayern next and a point will be enough to secure promotion, however that doesnt mean we wont be gunning for victory because Id still like to win the league given our current position."

Are United good enough to get top spot? or will Milan surprise them and take 1st place from there grasps? and what will come of Chelsea? Coul they possibly climb this massively and seemingly impossiblyhigh rock-climbing wall??

VICTORY!

:D

Fiorentina 3 - 2 Sporting Lisbon

As the Jinky Jives look to end the season on a high note, Fiorentina comes through with a vital win over the 'Kinky Carrots', Sporting Lisbon.

Fiorentina where without a few of the first team regulars, including 'SP', Adrian Mutu, whom is still recovering from an injury. On the plus note Fior gaff, Kylan, used this as an opportunity to hand, Michael Mancienne, the young English CB his debut, which he showed much poise, with a solid outing.

Sporting Lisbon took the lead twice in this match, but Fiorentina always seemed to have an answer, until finally, Jermain Defoe, propped up with the winning goal in the 74th minute.

Young, 21 y/old, Michael Mancienne made his debut for Fior, in a solid outing, much more will be expected of him in the future.

David Beckham made his 1st captaincy for Fiorentina and showing a much inspirational outing, scoring a goal.

Defoe, grabs the winner in the 74th minute, thus easing pressure off Fiorentina who where near the relegation zone, now find themselves in 7th, however, The Jinky Jives, still lay at the bottom of the points table.
