Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

After i read this post i tried to be as calm as possible before replying, and here it is: I was born in 1972 in Lebanon, i never left Lebanon for more than 3 months, i have been involved and following up politics since i was 10 years old, and YET all i know about the tanzim is that it was led by someone called George 3edwen who was in the Lebanese Front, so can someone please enlighten me how Tom, who lives in Paris and who is a native Yugoslavian, know the following:

1- There's a Lebanese party called "Tanzim"

2- They were dismantled in 1989

3- Now they are back

4- It is a truly patriotic party without...bla bla bla

please dont tell me that i'm being paranoic with the conspiracy theory, i just dont like it when someone insults my intelligence

walla ya rafik;

baddak t2oul bi ghar 3layna ktiir ;)

by the way check the thread named Aoun/jumblatt started by Tom himself. :)

Barcelona Win La Resistance Divison 2.

Barcelona today wrapped up the second divison of the La Resistance after a comfortable 3-1 victory ove Manchester City. Barcelona's win and Lyons loss to Liverpool saw Barcelona go 4 points clear with just one game left to play. With the title comes promotion to the top flight of La Resistance after two disappointing seasons in the lowest divison.

2772_1240177567.jpg2409_1209755861.jpg

A speculative chip by Lionel Messi was fumbled over the line to give Barcelona the lead. A quick turn and shot from Stephen Ireland found the back of the net to draw Man City level.

Goran Pandev put Barcelona back in front with a powerful header. The ball Andres Iniesta casually rolled into the net to secure the victory, the league title and promotion to the top flight.

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

MILAN FINALLY UP!!

After trying for a couple of seasons Milan are finally promoted. The manager Stefan Hague is extremely happy even though he seemed to be taking a more relaxed approach to the past season. So what does this say about his managerial qualities? Well its quite clear that the team can manage themselves due to the average age of the squad so the boss will carry on taking the back seat. :D

United add 3 youngsters to there ranks

Manchester United have been busy so far since the end of the season, with a 6th placed finish all that came from a season that promised so much at the start to not really deliver anything good.

Since Uniteds final game of the season, a home 1-1 draw with Chelsea, Manager Razz has acted swiftly to sign 3 young players, adding some youth to there ranks.

First up, was 18 year old English Right Back, Nathaniel Clyne, in a deal consisting of 2.2 million pounds plus argentinian left back Juan Carlos Ojeda.

Hi signing was closely followed by the capture of fellow 18 year old Austrian Centre Back, Aleksandr Dragovic, in a deal thought to be close to 1.9 million plus brazilian misfit, Rafael Toloi.

Lastly, was probably the biggest signing of them all, with the signing of brazil's highly rated 20 year old goalkeeper Dos santos Renan from Botafogo in a deal worth around 3.85 million plus striker Alemao and goalkeeping flop Garcia Felipe.

I am very pleased to have signed these three players. They will add extra depth to our youth ranks. They realise that they probably wont get much game time, but of course they do know that they are part of our long term plans otherwise we wouldnt have signed them. There all eager to contribute in some way or another to this football club. Renan is moving into our club to become the number 2 at the club. We felt Van der sar didnt really have much backup last season so we've signed this fella and im sure he'll make an impact.

SHAMBOOZY NOUVELLE

The Ministry of la Résistance, would like to congratulate all participants for another successful season, one which couldn't be completed without a few further scandals this season, as such is, la Résistance! A further ovation is needed for the repeat of Real Madrid manager, Mark Wallis' winning ways, after plundering, Div 1, yet again for a third title, also newcomer, Allan MUFC, showed previous gaff's at Barcelona lacked the man-management skills as he promoted the Spainish oufit in his first season, also helping his team, Guerilla Warfare, to a close 2nd place finish. This season has also seen the 'LR curse' dawn once again, on now, former champions, Park Ji BANG! finishing in last place, also we saw a new team, Meals on Wheels SS.JR dominate, la Résistance, becoming champions.

NOTICE BOARD *For all Participants - PLEASE READ*

-> NEWS ABOUT DRAW: As you know a draw will be conducted for all the teams to be made anew, all except for this season's champions, Meals on Wheels SS.JR, the draw will be done either today, or tomorrow. All procedures for the draw are adhered to by 'RULE 156', for further info on how the draw is conducted please see the following link: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showpost.php?p=566689&postcount=353

-> STAR PLAYERS[sP's]: Now's the time to change your SP's if you wish to do so, so please submit the names of your SP's even if you don't want them changed, just so we know please.

-> LOANS: If SM hasn't already automatically done so, please retract any loans that you may have made to other teams.

-> NEW MANAGERS: Season trois' end has seen Manchester City manager, Mark Farine part ways with the club, thus evoking the return of Danny King to the Eastlands club.

-> Lastly... Viva la Résistance!!! :D
