329_1205840207.gifLyon 2 - 4 Real Madrid163_1215035995.gif

Madrid started the season of brilliantly as they beat Thomas Lyon . Star player and club captain Raul opened the scoring on 11 minutes thumping a low shot past the keeper . Madrid target Benzema was causing the Madrid defence all sorts of problems . but Real went in 1-0 at the break .

Star player Raul put Madrid 1-0 up at the break

Second half and Lyon came out brightly Fred equalising on 52 minutes heading in of a well worked corner . Madrid went back in fornt when surprise starter Drenthe scored on 61 minutes after a terrible backpass falls short . Sneijder put the game beyond Lyons reach on 75 minutes poking home form close range . Lyon werent done Fred grabbing his second on 78 minutes , And again Madrid scored Drenthe finishing with 2 goals and a great start for Real .

Drenthe and Sneijder both scored

There has been no transfer news of late as manager Mark Wallis has been unavailable for certain reasons but now as he said earlier......Im back and ready to take this club to the league title . Certain players are made available for transfer . Madrid are looking at a few players and 1 in particular in Lyons Benzema

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

Match Previews are on there way people. Infact.. They just got here !

Well.. yet another boring round of La Resistance comes to a head tomorrow night and i have some team news that you may like to hear of, Firstly, Division 2.:

Manchester United Vs Milan

One of the matches of the round sees Manchester Uniteds Razz host Stefans Milan in what should prove to be a very interesting match. Both teams failed to win there opening matches so it should be a tight one.

Chelsea Vs Bayern Munich

After late disappointment against Liverpool, Ants Bayern travel to a Chelsea side that squeezed past Roma in there opening fixture. On Paper, it should be a tight one but the bookies really should have Chelsea as favourites here.

Barcelona Vs Internazionale

Barcelona welcome Italian Rivals Internazionale to the Nou camp in the match of the round. Liams Barca took care of Milan and meet the other Milan tomorrow for a crucial early jump on the other for the title.

Liverpool Vs Lyon

Lyon travel to Anfield to meet a Liverpool side still buzzing from there late win over Bayern. Lyon got beaten by Real Madrid last time out so they will need to be at there best here to take any points.

Arsenal Vs Roma

Arsenal host a roma side that came desperately short last time against Chelsea but the table-topping Arsenal side, who thumped Inter, will be looking for 2 wins from 2.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

The Madrid Derby takes us to the Bernabeu where we have 2nd placed Real, meeting a well-organised Atletico outfit that did very well to hold off man utd last game. This should be a beauty!

Now its onto Division 1:

Udinese Vs Juventus

Udinese, fresh from there late loss to spurs last time out, look to bounce back at home to Juve. Juve are currently 2nd and will look to continue there good form against there less-known opponents.

Fiorentina Vs Man City

This looks like being an early pole-sitting match because the winner here could well find themselves in front at the back straight of the league. Both teams won in the opening game and it is surely going to be one of the more eye-catching games of the division.

Celtic Vs Villarreal

Both these two teams failed to win there respective opening matches, But, currently in the same CL groups, this will be a big game for one of these teams to try and kick-start there campaigns.

FC Shalke Vs Valencia

Both these teams surprisingly did not pick up maximum points first up, and this should be a good match as both sides are quite strong. Shalke will have the home advantage though. Tricky one to pick.

Sevilla Vs Zenit St Petersburg

On paper, this should be a thrilling match, but on form, it looks like being a low, gloomy day for both managers, the managers of these two teams have had awful starts but if you dont mind me saying, need to improve unless disaster could strike.. a draw for me. :D

and last but not least :/

Sporting Lisbon vs Tottenham

Fresh from there late winner over Udinese, Spurs will be looking to gain another important bag of points here, but Sporting will be no pushovers and will likely go all out in search of a win. Interesting one this.

So... We finally greet a conclusion to this mammoth piece of junk by saying them two famous words.... La.... Resistance!!!!

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

Aww why do i get to play Barca second? I hate my fixture list :( Anyway...

New Players In For Inter

Inter have aquired 3 more youngsters to add to the team. Oscar Gobern, a 17 year old CM was signed for 70k from Southampton. Kenny Steppe, an 18 year old keeper was signed from dutch outlet Heerenveen, for 3.4m and finally, highly rated youngster Douglas Costa, another 18 year old but an Attacking Midfielder, signed from Brazillian club Gremio for 500k. These additions are perfect for Inter as thgey can continue to build they're strong youth squad in the hope they will all improve in the coming years and possibly will find their way to the first team.

Players For Sale

"I have decided to put Julio Cruz on the transfer list as his attitude is terrible and lows the Morale for the team", A spokesman for Inter said earlier. Also, Toldo is up for sale. Milligan is looking to make money for other incoming targets.

Bids Made For Un-named Players

Undisclosed bids have been made for 3 players who will remain un-named until they have signed.

More from the blue half of the San Siro coming soon! ;)

Palacios, Zuiverloon and Tiago Luis All Join Inter Ranks

Last night all of the above signed contracts with Inter Milan. A spokesman later said Milligan was really pleased with the current transfer activity, saying all the players he has signed so far will come good. He is pleased especially at Douglas Costa as he believes the AM to be a great future prospect. Milligan says transfer activity will die down for now, the target of bouncing back from the humbling last week his major thought.

Park Ji Bang Updates::

Manchester United 4 Milan 0

What a result. The team will be stoked at this. also, Cristiano Ronaldo (star player) gets a hattrick, what more could you want?

Sporting 0 Tottenham 2

Great result, John Carew played brilliantly, scoring a brace and getting 2 wins from 2 so far.. Well done Paul :)

Valencia 0 Shalke 4

To be honest, its a bad result. We would of expected more from ken here, and not get thumped, but heres to hoping Ken and his Valencia can turn it around and bounce back! having lavezzi as his star man might bite him up the you-know-what come end of the season

Bayern 0 Chelsea 3

Again, another disappointing performance but i never really expected Ant to get up and win this game anyway, he has one of the more poor sides in the division and probably will struggle. Lets try and get a few wins eh mate?? :P

After a lacklustre performance v Man U Stefan Hague was seen on T.V going barmy

His strikers were absolutely awful it seems Ronaldinho is on the decline after all. After much argueing and the fighting to relieve any frusterations within the squad.

Stefan has now made drastic changes to the team, its a drastic time for the team, the shame of losing to a Man U team was shameful enough but letting Cristiano (Diver) Ronaldo score a hat trick was beyond it for the manager

la Résistance: MATCH RESULTS!

Well the bloodshed continues as teams are starting to make there mark and seperate themselves from others. For some twas a good week, others a horrible one @ that, and for some twas a week of no progress at all.

Sporting Lisbon (0-2) Tottenham Hotspurs

-Teams: The Kinky Carrots VS P.A.R.K. Ji Bang!

-Location: @ José Alvalade

-Managers: Dan Griffin (Sporting Lisbon) & Paul Thame (Tottenham)

-Goals: John Carew(24, 58)

-M.O.M: John Carew

-Star Players: *Vagnér Love & *John Carew (2 Goals)

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +5pts for P.A.R.K. Ji Bang!

What a match! All we know is that the N17 was buzzin after a result like this one as Spurs got 2 players sent off and where still able to pull put an away win courtesy of John Carew who put in a brilliant performance. Dan Griffin must be furious that his team wasnt able to take advantage. Gilberto and Modric where the two players who where given there marchin orders, but that didnt stop Spurs dominating and dictating play, and didnt stop Carew scoring two and earning, M.O.M.

168_1216387042.jpgVS 265_1203975428.gif

Sevilla (0-0) Zenit St.Petersburg

-Teams: The Kinky Carrots VS The Jinky Jives

-Location: @ Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán

-Managers: Mike SM (Sevilla) & Sam Warren (Zenit St.Petersburg))

-Goals: NONE

-M.O.M: Luis Fabiano

-Star Players: *Luis Fabiano & *Pavel Pogrebnyak

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +1pt for both teams

A very stalemate match this game turned out to be, both managers will be dissapointed with the lacklustre performance. There where chances in this match for both teams to come away with the win, but poor finishing from both sides sees both teams go away with a point each.

Fiorentina (3-0) Manchester City

-Teams: The Jinky Jives VS The Pink Fluffy Penguins

-Location: @ Artemio Franchi

-Managers: Kylan Hood (Fiorentina) & Adam Selby (Man.City)

-Goals: Adrian Mutu(5, 64), Alberto Gilardino(15)

-M.O.M: Alberto Gilardino

-Star Players: *Adrian Mutu (2 Goals) & *Robinho

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +5pts for The Jinky Jives

First home game of the season for Fiorentina and they picked up where they left of in Russia, putting in yet another great performance to see away the Eastlands side 3-nil. The whole Fiorentina side where instrumental in there, noticeably both Mutu and Gilardino who ran City's defence rampant. Adam and City's new owners will be dissapointed wth a result as such and will be wondering when is this team gonna start to click, they did have chances in this match, particulary Elano who blew em all.

131_1204699836.gifVS 110_1199637426.gif

Udinese (1-1) Juventus

-Teams: The Supermondo Warriors VS Hail Hail the Queens in Jail

-Location: @ Friuli

-Managers: Jack Dimmick (Udinese) & Troy Ledgerwood (Juve)

-Goals: Di Natale(49), Trezeguet(78)

-M.O.M: Antonio Di Natale

-Star Players: *Di Natale (1 Goal) & *David Trezeguet (1 Goal)

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +1pts for both teams

Well this one was tight throughout with one-man being sent off from both sides being Pavel Nedved for Juve and for Udinese, Mauricio Isla. Di Natale put the homeside ahead in the 2nd half as he ran onto a through ball and thumped it into the top corner. Juve's reply came in the form of french international, David Trezeguet in thr 78th min after a complete and utter mix-up amongst the Udinese defence, ending in 1-1.

FC Schalke (4-0) Valencia

-Teams: The Pink Fluffy Penguins VS P.A.R.K. Ji Bang!

-Location: @ Veltins Arena

-Managers: Carl SFC (FC Schalke) & Kenneth McCandless (Valencia)

-Goals: Levan Kobiashvili(2), Altintop(11), Jefferson Farfan(16), Kevin Kuranyi(32)

-M.O.M: Jefferson Farfan

-Star Players: *Kevin Kuranyi (1 Goal) & *Lavezzi

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +5pts for The Pink Fluffy Penguins

Well this match was pretty much over in the first 20 minutes as Schalke in front of there home fans put on a clinical show, making Valencia look like a amateur Sunday league team, scoring 3 goals. There after Kuranyi put the icing on the cake 12 minutes later adding to the tally making the final score 4-nil, leaving a very pleased Carl muching gingerbread men on the sidelines with pals, Mongo and Gingy, as for Valencia gaff Ken, he will have to see his defence and midfield starts putting in top performances, this team cleary has the offence, but no service and appauling defending.

Manchester United (4-0) AC Milan

-Teams: P.A.R.K. Ji Bang! VS The Kinky Carrots

-Location: @ Old Trafford

-Managers: Razz (Man.Utd) & Stefan Hague (Milan)

-Goals: Cristiano Ronaldo(13, 32, 75), Wayne Rooney(48)

-M.O.M: Cristiano Ronaldo

-Star Players: *Cristiano Ronaldo (3 Goals) & *Ronaldinho

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +5 pts for P.A.R.K. Ji Bang!

Wow! what a match this one turned out be @ Old Trafford, as after a lacklustre perfmormance from Man.Utd in the 1st game of the season saw them come away with a draw, Razz unleashed as more hungry, determined looking Utd side against AC Milan, who to no prevail showed any signs of improvement from there 1st match. ManUtd dominated the ball and controlled the tempo of the match against the ageing Italian giants, also having Kaka sent off in the 33rd minute was no help for Milan. A quiet Ronaldo who pretty much didnt show up against Atletico the previous match set Old Trafford alight with a hat-trick with Rooney also contributing one goal. Razz will look to keep his Utd side playing like this, while Stefan will defo have to get his team in order to contribute to the cause.

140_1204773136.gifVS 109_1190676380.gif

Barcelona (2-1) Internazionale

-Teams: The Jinky Jives VS Hail Hail the Queens in Jail

-Managers: Liam Smith (Barcelona) & Ferg (Internazionale)

-Goals: Eto'o(12), Esteban Cambiasso(52), Gabriel Milito(67)

-M.O.M: Eto'o

-Star Players: *Messi & *Zlatan

-Points up for grabs: +5

-Points earned: +5 pts for The Jinky Jives

Definitly alot of hype around this match there was, and it was close at the best of times. Ferg's Inter where looking to rebound after losing to Arsenal, while Liam was hopin his Barca would continue there good form which they did. It was a close one through out with Eto'o putting the Catalan side up 1-nil in the 1st half. A reply for the goal came in the 2nd half for Inter as veteran midfielder Cambiasso scored a goal leveling the game up. It was 14 minutes later that Barca found the unanswered goal from defender Milito from a surprising blast from outside the '25 which left Julio Cesar stunned. 2-1 final.

Re: la Résistance (Official thread)

::La Resistance Preview::

It was just yesterday when we logged on and was bracing ourselves for the expected result of the previous night in La resistance, however, Round 3 of this prestigious league makes its u-turn tomorrow night and what better way to kick things off than a good ol' Match Preview sheet :D

Firstly, Were off to Division 1 to see whats happening::

Udinese Vs Valencia

Both of these two sides, without a win so far and struggling to compete, it would seem, however, Kens Valencia are coming off a 4-0 mauling at the hands of Shalke. Will there be extra bite in this one?

Celtic Vs Tottenham

2nd placed Tottenham have started the league campaign with great spirit, however, they may find themselves unstuck here after 2 players were sent off in there previous 2-0 win over sporting, for Celtic, there in desperate need of a win to boost there league position. Should be interesting..

Schalke vs Fiorentina

The Table-Topping Fiore's visit the Veltins Arena for what looks like a cracking game. Shalke have all the confidence in the world after there shattering of valencia. But will they be brought back to earth by a Damaging Fiorentina side managed by the irrepressible Kylan Hood?

Sevilla Vs Juventus

On Paper, this match is likely to be one of the best in the division. However, with just 1 win between them so far this season, it seems neither side has quite hit there strides just yet. Could this be the match that jump-starts either teams season??

Sporting Lisbon vs Manchester City

Sporting are struggling at the moment, and man city have been ok so far. But, the likelyhood of this match being a classic is not that great. Both managers will be looking to get, what could prove to be, a crucial win. However, a draw suits my betting.

Villareal vs Zenit

This should be another good game on paper, however neither team has picked up a win so far this season. Zenit wil have to play well to break through what has been a stubborn Villarreal side who have 2 straight 2-2 draws next to there name. Maybe i should bet for a hattrick of 2-2 draws.. :P

Now its onto Division 2:

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

Atletico have not had to leave spain yet, with a home match against united, and 2 games against real and now barca. However, they are winless after 2 games on home soil, and meeting a barca team inspired by the tactics of Liam is going to make it really hard to change the trend. It would be difficult to vote for Atletico, but will there be a major surprise??

Liverpool vs Chelsea

The all-english match is likely to be a really hard-fought one at that. Liverpool, with the kop behind them!, will be hard to beat, but if anyone can do it, its the Chelsea side who have won both there matches so far and are looking very strong.

Arsenal vs Milan

After there horrendous thumping at the hands of Man utd :P , Milan now travel to the Emirates to meet a Gooners side top of the table, and with 0 goals past the keeper. I find it difficult to suggest anything other than the younger side teaching the elderly Milan a real footballing lesson. 3-0 to the home side :D

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich

Lets be honest, Bayern have looked anything but assured so far and travelling to the Bernabeu is not a good place to be going when your where Ant and his players currently are. A win could spell jubilous celebrations, however, a thumping looks on the cards. Real look, simply, far too good.

Inter vs Roma

An enthralling all-italian match-up is on the cards, both sides are yet to even pick up a point so far this season and the managers are furious at there players for there lack-lustre performances. Will the players make a feast of football tomorrow night or will it be more exciting to eat an apple instead :rolleyes:

and last but not least :/

After what was a huge win over Milan last time out, United host french champions Lyon to Old Trafford. Each team gets the chance to pull away from another as United sits 5th with Lyon 7th. A win could cut the gap between themselves and the leaders however, a draw would not be satisfactory at all. A loss and either manager could already be saying goodbye to title hopes.

So... We finally greet a conclusion to this mammoth piece of junk by saying them two famous words.... La.... Resistance!!!!
