The same one who we have been criticised for poaching?

Ever seen him play? I heard he captains the French U-16 team and is a DM.

And what about Massacci?

sorry for the questions but seeing as you are an expert on United youth...

Last question:p I have become a big fan of matt james. really have. Love his passing as well. Is he likely to get playing time in Carling Cup?

Heres the latest on Pogba

Massacci is a tall right back who loves to get forward he was spotted at a tournament playing for Empoli where he got player of the tournament which is very unusual for a right back.

Matty James will probably be the number one midfielder and will play a lot for the reserves this year with Possebon gone out on loan and will almost certainly make his first team debut if he continues last years form especially after making the bench for the last game of last season.

Re: Manchester United youngsters

A few very good prospects coming through the Manchester United academy who obviously wont be on the database for a while but look very good prospects

Matty James

A very strong and powerfully built centre defender or centre midfielder who turned 17 in June has looked very impressive for the under 18s and reserves. A very good passer who has added goals to his game year and is an authorative figure who really drives the team forward. He has recently stepped up to the united reserves and impressed being bigger and stronger than many of the senior players he heas faced

Ryan Tunnicliffe

Another central midfielder who can also play in defence Tunnicliffe does not turn 16 until December 30th but plays for the England under 17s and has really excelled this season scoring 3 goals in the last 2 England games he has been Englands best player despite being surrounded by the likes of Bostock and Baxter. He is reminiscent of a young Steve Gerrard

Ravel Morrison

Morrison Is a central or wide midfielder who is a very impressive dribbler and excellent finisher. He was second top scorer in the under 15 Nike premier cup during the summer with 5 goals despite playing in midfield. He has continued his progress this season scoring for England under 16s against Northern Ireland and making his debut for the Manchester United under 18s against Celtic in a friendly

Morrison is very highly rated, but has a terrible attitude.

The others to really watch are:

Paul Pogba - The 16yo we pinched from France. Looks great, like Vieria with more passing ability.

Josh King - Lightening fast Noggie who made a 10 minute cameo in the CC this season. Had his progress delayed by injury. Already on the DB.

William Keane - Top scorer in the reserves. Everyone who watches him ends up saying he is the next Teddy Sheringham. Great ability on the ball, great visionand like Teddy does not have too much pace.

Davide Petrucci - Italian youth international, likened to Totti, mainly because he came from Roma. A real no.10.

The funny thing is that for the first time in absolutely years we are producing forwards rather than defenders. There are NO defenders coming through the ranks.

Ravel Morrison has started in all of the reserves pre season friendlies and scored a brilliant chip against curzon aswell as getting a couple of assists in the other games.

Ryan Tunnicliffe has played in the reserves pre season friendlies mainly as substitute.

A new name to look out for in the united academy is Tom Lawrence

d.o.b. 13-1-94 who is a Welsh under 17 international who can play as a striker or on either wing and has been put on standby for Wales under 21s next game. Tom played for united in this summers milk cup and scored a couple of goals during the tournament.
