Re: Favorite Football Stadium?

i voted Wembley because ive been there once, and it was breathtaking, the price of the food is horrific, £8-£10 for fish and chips, £8-£10 for burger and chips and its rank.

i wud of vpted old trafford aswell, it was the first ever staidum i went to to watch a game, and it was at night, so the atmosphere was absoloutely wonderful, i nearly cried it was so beautiful, it was just such a memory.

:D

Adios!

Re: Favorite Football Stadium?

Been out of that list (and a few not on there)

  • San Siro
  • Wembley
  • Old Trafford
  • Anfield
  • Highbury
  • Emirates

San Siro was magical but i'm not into old fashioned looking stadiums which is why Old Trafford didn't impress me too much either. I liked Highbury due to the compact size and it felts cozy for a stadium lol  . Emirates stadium is absolutely phenomenal. Best stadium by far for me from the seats to the structure it bosses! I went Wembley for NFL last year and I wasn't overly impressed despite it being a brilliant stadium and I bet for England games its great. I've also been to little grounds such as Hawthornes, Ewood, Deepdale and others and I love them lol.

Re: Favorite Football Stadium?

Beautiful downtown Bramall Lane B)

Umm.. Going to have to say Old Trafford..... Been there a few times, Semi final of the FA cup against Arsenal in 2004 i think it was... Arsenals unbeaten season..

Arsenal 1 - 0 Blades, Arsenal went on to win it..

David Seamen pulled off an amazing save......:D

saitama_stadium1.jpg

I have gone for other/Saitama Stadium, it is in Japan and holds 63700 people (all seated ) it may be small compared 2 the others but it is home to the Urawa Red Diamonds and their fans r arguably the best in the world - after Portsmouths obviously.

Camille Chamoun stadium on the Cola Intersection in West Beirut. This particular image was when they hosted the AFC Asian Cup.

Not sure if you can see the picture but it is meant to be the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. It's about 5 mins from my home and where West Ham may play soon

Re: Favorite Football Stadium?

The Premiership Stadiums I've been too are:

Anfield

Old Trafford

Highbury

Emirates

Ewood

St Andrew's

The Hawthorns

Villa Park

Out of those I'd say Emirates is the 'nicest' stadium. Mainly due to there soft seats and stadium looks.

Anfield has the best atmosphere.

Old Trafford is DEAD! (especially when United aren't winning :P)

and Villa has the worst away hospitality. Went there last Wednesday. No Alcohol and no Pies!

Re: Favorite Football Stadium?

I went to England v Switzerland back in February and the atmosphere was OK. There were only 86k or so there so pretty low-key game.

When 2012 comes around I'll probably try to go to the aquatics centre for swimming, Olympic Stadium for athletics and any footy stadiums for football.
