After 2 years at the club Ajax Winger Vitor Santiago Leonardo is leaving the club and heading to France to play with Bordeaux after an £7.5 million pounds bid was accepted earlier this morning and Vitor is heading out to France to have a medical as we speak. We just interviewed Ajax manager Jake and this is what he had to say on selling the talented Brazilian "He is a very talented player and I'm sure he will get regular games at Bordeaux. Vitor just couldnt take the places off Emanuelson or Gouffran who have been outstanding for me in the starting 11 this season. The fee is around £7.5 Million pounds and we have made a bid for Jose Sosa of Bayern Munchen and I hope me and the Bayern manager can come to an agreement on bringing the Argentinian to Amsterdam."

After a poor start to the season, Rhys Hunt's, Bayern Munchen, have started to pick up some form. Hunt's Bayern Munchen last night faced Hertha BSC, Hunt fielded a strong side last night, except that he was missing his star man, Andres Iniesta, who is still recovering from an injury, but Hunt says he might be fit enough to face VFB Stuttgart in Bayern's next league game.

Bayern Munchen started the game well against Hertha Berlin, with Huntelaar and Lennon coming closest too opening the scoring for Bayern, but Hertha had some attacks of their own, with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer making some fantastic saves, too keep the score 0-0. Then in the 27th minute, young English winger, Aaron Lennon, opened the scoring for Bayern, when he scored an absolutely amazing overhead kick. Then Hertha hit back at Bayern with some attacks, but the Bayern defence stayed strong, just before the end of the first half Hunt's men tried to double their lead, but too no avail. The score at half time was Bayern Munchen 1-0 Hertha BSC.

The second half kicked off, and the tempo from the first half was still there, with Manuel Neuer saving Bayern on numerous occasions. Bayern then went on attacks of their own with Aaron Lennon heading over, and Huntelaar hitting the post. After 74 minutes had past, Bayern's rock in the midfield, Yaya Toure, doubled Bayern's lead with a brilliant header, after a well worked corner. The game ended Bayern Munchen 2-0 Hertha BSC, with winger, Aaron Lennon being award the man of the match award.

The result leaves Hunt's Bayern Munchen in 6th place, but they only sit two points behind 1st place, Borussia Dortmund. Manager, Rhys Hunt, had this too say to SMTV after the game, "This was a great win for us, and I feel we are sitting in a good position!". Hunt also said after the game, that in mid-week he and his board were inches away from signing Russian playmaker, Andrey Arshavin, and after having a bid accepted, it was then later cancelled.

Diego & Arbeloa arrive in Germany!

asasa.jpg

Today, Bayern Munchen manager, Rhys Hunt, has unveiled his new signings. In the form of Brazillian magician, Ribas Diego, and Spanish full-back, Alvaro Arbeloa, who both arrived from English Giants, Liverpool. The player who left Bayern to go the other way was arguably Bayern's best player, Andres Iniesta. Rhys Hunt commented on the signings saying "It is absolutely fantastic too have Ribas Diego here, he is fantastic, also Arbeloa will be a very important player in the side as he will be our first choice RB".

Rhys Hunt then added "It's such a loss losing Andres Iniesta, he is amazing and i think he's one of the best players in the world, and I will always be a great admirer of him, but we have Diego and Arbeloa, and that is fantastic for us!".

As part of the deal, a young talented player will be joining Bayern tomorrow at the earliest for an un-named defender. :)

Rhys Hunt's Bayern Munchen tonight lined up against VFL Bochum. Hunt and his side set out to bag their fourth league win in a row. All of the attention tonight was on Hunt's new star men, Ribas Diego, and Alvaro Arbeloa, who all the Bayern fans were looking forward to watching. Bayern Munchen were clear favourites heading into this game, against an unmanaged Bochum, who before the game, Hunt said "We should cruise this!".

VFL Bochum started off with a bit of intent and a few of their shots coming seriously close to opening the scoring in the game. Then Hunt's side countered Bochum, and central midfielder, Dirnei Renato, capitalises on some poor defending to slot home, Rhys Hunt showed his delight from the goal by running down the touchline to celebrate with his players in true "Jose Mourinho" style. Bayern's young English winger then got in trouble, and recieves a yellow card for kicking the ball away, that could come back to haunt him. Bayern Munchen then piled on the pressure, but a strong VFL Bochum defence held strong, and went into the break 1-0 down. Half time, Bayern Munchen 1-0 VFL Bochum.

Rhys Hunt told his side at half time to start the second half how they ended the first, and that's exactly what they did. Bayern striker, Carvalha Amuari came close on numerous occasions, as did Aaron Lennon. Bochum then did some counter attacking of their own and it paid off when the ball was crossed into the box to be headed in neatly by Christoph Dabrowski. On the 75th minute, Dario Cvitanich came on for Amuari, and created a few chances for himself. Then Aaron Lennon's petulance made him pay when he recieved a second yellow card for abusive language, and will serve a 3 match domestic ban. Then Hunt's super-sub, Dario Cvitanich, rounded the keeper and slotted home from an accute angle, and everyone in the Bayern Camp went mad, and that goal turned out to be the winner. The final score, Bayern Munchen 2-1 VFL Bochum.

This win now lifts Bayern Munchen to first place in the Bundesliga. New signing Ribas Diego recieved some critics for his performance tonight, and Hunt had this to say on the matter, "He was poor tonight, and he knows it, and there are many things we can work on in training, but it always takes time adapting to a new team, I except great things of this great player".

Brazilian sensation joins Bayern!

Keirrison.jpg

Rhys Hunt has worked some magic in the transfer market, with the signing of young Brazilian striker, Carniero Keirrison. The deal was suppose to be completed a couple of days ago, but the deal fell through, that didn't put off Bayern's manager, Rhys Hunt, as he re-negotiated with the Liverpool manager.

The deal saw Abdoulay Konko head to Anfield in exchange, which Hunt says is a fantastic deal.

Bayern Munchen Update

Latest scores:

Champions League: Bayern Munchen 1-0 Marseille

League: Bayern Munchen 3-3 Bayer Levekusen

League: TSG Hoffenheim 1-5 Bayer Munchen

Rhys Hunt's Bayern Munchen have enjoyed a great run of form lately, and are unbeaten in 7 games, winning six and drawing one. The latest win in that run was a fantastic win against Bayern's bogey side, Hoffenheim. When Bayern lined up against Hoffenheim they made no mistake in showing what their all about with a thumping 5-1 win, with new signing, Ribas Diego bagging one of the goals.

Hunt's side tonight face Bundesliga new boys, SC Freiburg. Rhys Hunt's Bayern are sitting top of the Bundesliga by one point, and Hunt is hoping to win the Bundesliga that so aconisingly creeped away from him last season.

391_1238686832.jpg

Rhys Hunt's Bayern Munchen looked to continue their superb run of form last night, when they met Bundesliga new boys, SC Freiburg, at the Allianz Arena. Hunt was able to field basically a full strength team, with only one notable abbsentee, in full back, Phillip Lahm. Before the game everyone was tipping Bayern to over-turn the minows, and that's exactly what happened.

As the game kicked off, Freiburg looked very lively and were putting Hunt's team under pressure. Freiburg started creating chances for themselves coming close a few times. Then the pressure finally paid off when SC Freiburg took a surprise lead, when Mohammodou Idrissou slips away from his marker and smashes the ball low and it squirmes past the goalkeeper, who really should have done much better. Then just two minutes later, Bayern's defensive midfielder, Yaya Toure smashes the ball into the top corner from 35 yards out. Bayern then cranked up the pressure on Freiburg coming close on numerous occasions. Then on the 25th minute, Bayern new boy, Ribas Diego, struck the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards out, to bag his second goal in four appearences for him new club. Rhys Hunt's side then put on more pressure, but SC Freiburg held out until half time, and the score at the break was Bayern Munchen 2-1 SC Freiburg.

SC Freiburg came out of the blocks for the second half a lot quicker than Munich, and Freiburg created chance after chance for themselves, but they just couldn't convert, with the Bayern defence staying strong and disciplined. Then totally against the run of play, Yaya Toure bagged his second goal of the game when he smashes the ball into the net from the edge of the box after a nice lay-off from the Diego, which made the score 3-1. Then just seven minutes later Bayern put the game to bed when under-performing striker, Carvalha Amuari, uses his pace and gets himself into the box and lashes the ball into the net. The full time score was Bayern Munchen 4-1 SC Freiburg.

This result meant that Hunt's Bayern Munchen kept top spot in the Bundesliga by one point, ahead of Borussia Dortmund. Hunt after the game praised the performance of midfielder Yaya Toure, who Hunt said was fantastic!
