Ok First of..

Does it matter if you play a Fwd [for example: Aguero or lavezzi] in the lone striker for 4-2-3-1? Or would a CF [for example: mario gomez] get more goals?

Ok moving on, In 4-3-1-2

Could you play wingers in the midfield?

Midfield.

Wing - Cm - Wing

and then the Attacking midfielder behind the front two.

Would the wingers still play well?

All Help appreciated.

:)

Also if anyone has had any success with these formations, playing a Fwd as lone striker in 4-2-3-1, and playing wingers in 4-3-1-2 please say so!

Re: Advice on 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-1-2

It matters when you change the style of play. If you are playing with CF then use Target man. If you are playing with a forward use contra-Attacks.

I don't advice playing wingers in middlefield. Just use CM's or AM's in middlefield.

I am successing in 4-3-1-2 i defeat real Madrid second time (first 2-0 second 1-0) fiorentina without Adrian Mutu.

Also a useful tip 4-2-3-1 is a offensive tactic. Just think before you play.

BUt you can play 4-3-1-2 in every tactic.

Re: Advice on 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-1-2

in 4-3-1-2

could i play a RM ?

would they still be able to perform?

because i got MAXI RODRIGUEZ' date=' Pablo who is a RM/AM[/quote']

No difference in playing a F or a CF in my opinion...

My main forward is Fernando Torres (CF) and he plays superbly... unfortunately, he gets injured after every approx. 3 games, so I play either Pato or Higuain; they play very well and score loads of goals aswell.

For your question, I think that a RM/AM will play good in the 3 of a 4-3-1-2... make sure you play him on the right.

I agree with that.

And about 3-4-1-2 the Real Madrid i faced was playing like this.
