And if you look better you can see that the Bayern, Dortmund, liverpool etc. are teams in game world that are in the 10th or 13th season, so the team has not even a player like in the beginning, so these teams are not the best choiches in these leagues.

Intact team or not - you could of had a very poor Chelsea team back in the day but they would still get taken over.

I'm going to keep an eye out anyway for any decent teams that come available.

GC13: Roma complete a domestic treble (League, Shield and Cup, SMFA Super Cup too) after a 5-2 win over a strong Palermo side. Iniesta grabbing a hattrick, with Robben and MOTM Schweinsteiger scoring too.

That's 13 league titles on the trot. Curious to see if anyone else done more in a row.

Taken charge of Real Madrid in GC172. Safe to say the squad has been turned upside down, no Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, Pepe etc, Casillas and Arbeloa the only survivors

After losing 5 of their first 8 games this season, Leeds United were able to turn it around and become a serious contender in the Championship this season. A few shrewd signings helped change things around, notably 87 rated free agent Olcay Sahan for 4.2 million (I still don’t know how he was a free agent). Leeds weren’t able to get very far in the cup competitions, and that’s still not the objective next season. Next season, all the focus will be on staying up in the Premiership. The squad’s not all that advanced yet, hopefully we’ll be able to add a few shrewd signings before too long into the next term.

One can get an idea of the level of dominance shown this season by the average performance (to 13 all Gateshead or former Gateshead players or by the massive goal differential shown. The statistical season shown by Morgan Sanson was simply out of this world, 21 goals and 21 assists in just 15 games before being sold for a massive profit and bought again at the end of the season once the transfer ban ran out. We seriously believe this team can compete immediately for a League One title; anything less is a disappointment. It would also be nice to see at least one cup run.

With quite a bit of work to do (about 15 points behind Benfica halfway through the season), Porto was going to need to be close to perfect to end the year. So they went on a signing spree adding Stephan Lichtsteiner, Carlos Tevez and Nigel de Jong to an already strong squad. The move payed off and Porto gain 43 out of a possible 45 points in the last 15 games of the season. It was a well-deserved title. Next season, there are a few objectives: 1. Get a goalkeeper. 2. Win at least 1 new trophy (cup or shield). And try to keep the title from Benfica (it’s quite the rivalry. Benfica have Mata, Alexis Sanchez, De Bruyne, Dzagoev and C. Eriksen, to name a few. Together, we have the top 23 performers in the league)

Do you get to pick what GC you want your team in? Or does it just say for example you have reserved Juventus in GC394 or something similar and could you change it for say GC395?

It'll say something like you have reserved Juventus and are number xx in the queue. You don't get a say in what GC you have the club in.

Man, i love my Dortmund side in GC 280.

I got it last year when they still had Gotze.

I now have a starting XI of Ter Stegen, Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer, S.Bender, Gundogan, Gotze, Kuba, Reus and Lewandowski.

On the bench i have the likes of Kehl, Draxler, Howedes, Rode, Herrmann, Rausch and Leitner.

Then i have youth like Goretzka, Bittencourt, Cigerci, Horn, Meyer, Hofmann, Durm, Stark, Sule, Tah, Gunter and more.

It's just such a fun team to play with!

There's plenty of teams available in 280 if anyone fancies joining me.

Afraid to say, as I expected, gold championships just aren't the same anymore. I currently have 3 sides (in gold champs), on a 1 month gold membership and it isn't looking likely I will renew. As well as it being hard to deal, the ignorant managers really don't help that are spread across the setups, even seen a guy trying to sell his account on one of the news feeds the other day:o

I will wait it out until my gold status officially runs out, but if I'm honest paying the extra £12 per year wont benefit me as I'm having more fun in EC106 and with my Bayern in a Euro Championship, the Roma I have acquired in GC86 itself tempts me to just renew because its such a great squad with great youth but even there it is hard to find a deal that suits both managers.

Guess times change, good to see some of the old faces still around though
