Riferimento: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread

Everyone know that now GCs aren't the same thing of some years ago. I have only three Gold teams, and this is (maybe) my favourite.

Real Madrid - GC 271

Real-Madrid-Logo.png

This is the 3rd season and this the team I have built in three seasons so far:

1st team - Casillas, Ramos, Kompany, Godìn, Nastasic, Howedes, Marcelo, X. Alonso, L. Bender, Modric, Khedira, Guarìn, Willian, Iniesta, Ozil, Isco, Draxler, C. Ronaldo, C. Vela, Ibrahimovic, Falcao, Benzema, D. Costa.

Youth team - Di Gennaro, Zouma, Vergara, Bazoer, Carvajal, Tielemans, Samper, Cristante, B. Fernandes, Green, Wilson, Januzaj, A. Zivkovic, B. Traorè, Dierssen, M. Lopes, V. Araujo, Martial, S. Ramirez, Azmoun, Unal.

I know it's hard to believe, but I never cheated and I'll never do this. The only thing I done is devote time to all my clubs and this is the result.

For now these are my trophies:

S1 - Serie 1 winner, Spanish Shield runner-up.

S2 - Charity Shield winner, Serie 1 winner, SMFA Championship Cup winner.

S3 (so far) - SMFA Super Cup runner-up, Charity Shield runner-up.

I think that this team could be on top for many season, I have a good young 1st team and a good youth team, but I'll continue to try to sign top players and improve my team.

Soon I will present to you my other two teams :)

I gladly accept advice and criticism :)

wow' date=' what a team you have clearly built up there!

it takes someone special to sign draxler, ter stegen and a few others for cash in a dead GC[/quote']

At least he sticks with clubs... I've been on the game a week and already seen your name all over setups of you quitting and rejoining clubs

yes, I know it must look bad from your eyes mate, but trust me, I have my reasons for doing so.

and also, apologies to guerrilla, as now I look back at what I posted earlier about your Dortmund side and to be honest it didn't come out right at all, I didn't mean for it to sound offensive to you or anything like that.

That's fine. I just didn't understand the anger.

I prefer to build on what i have with a team. I like adding pieces rather than revamping a team all together.

I've just simply added to an already very good Dortmund side with the likes of Draxler, Ter Stegen, Howedes, Meyer, Goretzka, Tah - Good young players who will only get better. :)

Man, i love my Dortmund side in GC 280.

It's just such a fun team to play with!

There's plenty of teams available in 280 if anyone fancies joining me.

I know what you mean mate, I know ive only taken over Ajax in GC 280 just over a month or so ago but its turning into one of my favourite teams already. The managers that are left in the league are great for working deals with, eg- I bought Yarmolenko for 9mill off a managed team (still cant believe that:D).

First XI for tonights season 3 league opener-

Begovic

Van Rhijn - Alderweireld - Moisander - Telles

Taider - Florenzi - Paulinho

Heung Min Son - Mitroglou - Yarmolenko

433 (wingers)

Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread

the amount of Liverpool teams now available is ridiculous. I know everyone keeps saying this, but if this was 1 or 2 years ago, none of those teams would be around for any longer than 30 seconds!

how long do u reckon its gonna be before barca's and real Madrid's start becoming available? I reckon 6 months tops

Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread

it looks like the forum is following the footsteps in the actual games fall now.

this is the first post on here in 3 days. it isn't the same without stifler.

also, it seems as though sm are stepping up their constant rating changes even more now, and being so much more lenient. there are players on there getting increased by 2/3 who don't even deserve a rise in my opinion! its so obvious they r doing this to try and reinstate the interest in newer GC's by increasing the values of all the teams, but to be honest, it just results in making the game more corrupt and fake than ever

After a three trophy season last season, Olympiakos kept up the pace with three more this season, but it was a lot closer. They struggled down the stretch and nearly gave up the title in the last few games of the season. A low point came when they were ousted from the SMFA Cup by an 11-2 aggregate by Borussia Dortmund. However, there have been some key off season reinforcements and Olympiakos is ready to compete for three or four more trophies next season, lead by newcomers Andrea Pirlo, Mirko Vucinic, Mathieu Valbuena and Andoni Iraola.

Projected Starting XI:

89 Leno

90 Iraola – 88 Fofana – 87 Holebas

I Just swapped Benzema+Willian for Aguero. I'm really happy for this deal, C.Vela will replace Willian as Ozil's substitute and now I've CR7, Ibrahimovic, Falcao, Aguero and Diego Costa as strikers, not bad. :)

The deal was reported and canceled. This is the 3rd regular deal canceled in the last month, SM is becoming a ****. When other managers see you do a good deal they reported and SM delete it immediately. I will never give a penny to this crappy game, now I'm tired.

It was almost a dream season for Insider’s Internazionale. After inheriting an ageing squad that had lost most of its young talent last season, insider brought in some more experience as well as some dynamic young players in the hope of rejuvenating the squad. It worked, as Inter comfortably took home the Serie A title as well as the SMFA Super Cup and the Italian Shield. One thing that can never happen again, however: Crosstown rivals AC Milan eliminated them from the SMFA Champions Cup. Never again. It won’t be a worry next season, however, as AC Milan didn’t qualify for SMFA competitions.

Projected XI:

90 Diego Lopez

90 Nagatomo – 90 Ranocchia – 91 Cambiasso

91 Piszczek – 91 De Jong – 90 Lucho Gonzalez – 90 Mertens

Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread

Okay guys so I decided not to renew my gold membership in the end, yesterday was my last day of GM and it now reads -1 days remaining so I expect be removed from these teams and gameworlds very soon, something to keep an eye out for:

Roma - Gold Championship 86:

Very good team, was tempted to renew my gold just for this side but thinking about it the prices SM charge aren't worth it. Great young talent such as Pogba, Kroos, Alex Sandro, De Bruyne, Son and many more, worth keeping an eye out for most definitely.

Bayern Munich - Gold Championship 208:

Was surprised when I picked these up actually, near enough the complete Bayern squad with a few additions but as it was an older setup Gotze and Thiago arent in the squad, signed Aguero for Muller whilst here, I expect it to get accepted on job offer/go over quickly if released but still worth keeping an eye out for.

Ajax - Gold Championship 389:

Untouched Ajax squad bar the addition of Leno and Jonjo Shelvey, Vermeer and Schone went the other way for these additions, with a bit of cash too but regardless I thought these were great deals. Nothing special, but when the rating changes come along should be an even more tidier squad.

AFC Barrow - Gold Championship 391:

Pretty much bought every riser I could/know with the £1.6 million budget I got at the start of the setup, since then a few have rose, some are yet to rise, it's already a great looking squad for division 5 which is easily capable of winning it so would appreciate someone continuing my work here.

Gold Championship 384 Fulham -

Well were sitting fith in the league only four points off the top spot, my next two games is against 3rd and 4th so should be fun, looking for deals with this squad so make me a offer if a player is listed. Steven Pienaar has been cracking since joining 6 goals in 9 games.
