i am in this setup and i am currently River Plate, if anyone else would like to join that would be great.

River Heads Up Stream To Top Of Table

River Plate became the first league leaders of the season after their 5-2 win over the unmanaged Rubin Kazan. Although new recruit Sergio Asenjo didnt get the dream start he would of wanted, the rest of the team got their dream starts. The only sour note was an injury to Tuzzio who will miss the next match with a swollen ankle.

Rubin Kazan got the early advantage in the match but this would be the only time the visitors would lead before Sebastien Abreu used all his power to volley the ball past Ryzhikov.

Up and coming Columbian Radamel Falcao put the home side in the lead with a stunning solo run lead to an even better finish making the score 2-1 after only 30 minutes of play.

Mattais Aberailas headed home in the 41st putting the Argentines 3-1 up heading into the break. Kazan however took advantage River Plate's loss of momentum picking up a second in the 53rd.

This made it game on and it was an even affair until Oscar Ahumada slotted home a 76th minute wonder goal after breaking free of 2 markers and shooting from 25 yards out. Augusto Fernandez then put the result beyond doubt with his tap in goal after a rebound off the crossbar.

Transfer News: River Plate are soon to announce the arrival of Frenchman Jeremy Rothen and are rumoured to be offering for German Tim Borowski

Rothen Proves His Worth In Draw With Besiktas

The Argentines continued their unbeaten run in the 4th division and kept hold of their 5th place spot after last weeks draw over fierce rivals Independiente. The game started Jeremy Rothen's career at River Plate with the Frenchmen regaining the point in the last 4 minutes of the game. The ball belonged to River dominating with 55% but it was the Turks who applied the pressure putting 10/11 shots on target compared to Rivers 2/6.

Besiktas got the ball rolling in the 18th through Deivson Bobo who broke through the Argentines defence finishing with great power and accuracy. Although Falcao went close in the 37th it was Besiktas who struck again this time through Mert Norbe who collect a beatiful cross on the volley smashing it into the top corner and putting daylight between them and the visitors.

Like the cliche goes football is a game of 2 halves and this seemed to be the case when River came out firing but failed to get a shot on target until 1st division-linked Rademal Falcao pounced on a shot that crashed off the bar giving him an easy goal and put River right back in it.

It was then Besiktas who found themselves in a desperate attempt to score and put this game away but this was shattered when debutant and former PSG winger Jeremy Rothen collected an aerial through ball with expert control before curling it past Rustu and securing the point for River.

America make their move in the Transfer market

Just hours after the appointment of Ryan Clarke America have confirmed that they have made bids for 7 Players. They do not wishto reveal these as 1. they may get stolen and 2 I cba to type:D

There are some playrs on the transfer list who are not needed as Ryan states his squad if full with people he doesn't need.

Season Objectives

Win League 4

Make a squad with an average of at least 88 by the end of the season

Do the double over rivals River Plate

Don't go into debt once

And stay loyal with the club and stay as manager next season.(Doubt this will happen:D )

Signed Ryan Clarke

River Plate Set To Announce 2 More

River Plate are set to announce 2 new arrivals to the transfers in list after tough negotiations finally came through. The 2 players (yet to be named) deals are currently been finalised and will be ready to purchase their one-way tickets to Argentina.

In Other River Plate News: Manager Read has laughed off claims Mexican side America will win the division 4 saying "its between Us and Napoli." "I'll be in the 1st division before America win the league". "The most they can hope for is winning one of the cups because they surely dont have the talent to win the league. They'll be struggling not to win the wooden spoon in 16 weeks, The "oldies" that they are signing wont do them any good.""

Read: We Will Improve

River Plate manager Mitchell Read has vowed to fans that his side "will improve" after slumping to their first loss of the season at the hands of AEK Athens. The Argentines were hoping for their 2nd win for the season after signing the likes of Brad Friedel, Michael Bradley and Jose Sand. Instead they were humiliated at home to a "weak" Athens side going down 2-0.

The Greeks opened their account in the 24th through Angelos Basinas who, at the embarrasment of the defence, collected a header at the back post after it sailed into the box. They grabbed their second through Ramos Edson who again embarassed the 3-man defence collecting a pass without any hassles and easily breaking through to tap one past Friedel.

River Plate sit on 5 points and have dropped to equal 9th along with 4 other teams. They face mid-table Athletic Bilbao in Spain on the 10th.

River Return to Winners Circle

River Plate have done the perfect response to last weeks 2-0 loss to AEK Athens beating highflying Spaniards Atheltic Bilbao in a 3-1 win which saw Diego Buonanotte and Jerome Rothen score the 3 goals in the first 10 minutes.

The fans had barely sat down before Buonanotte skimmed one over the crossbar within 1 minute of play. He didnt miss his next chane heading home a picture perfect Jeremy Rothen cross 2 minute later. His second goal was even better, twisting and turning around defenders before reaching around the legs of defender Kokili and placing it into the bottom left-hand corner.

Rothen then decided to get in on the action collecting a Irazioz fumble tapping in his 2 of the season. The Argentines looked set to score their second clean-sheet of the season before Velaz Inigo scored on the rebound after Brad Friedel saved a powerful shot in the 89th.

"I was right," was all River Plate manager Mitchell Read had to say about his clubs 3-1 after announcing his club will improve after their shock 2-0 loss to Athens.

The result puts River Plate back up to 5th level with America, Athens and Anderlecht. They are 7 off the pace after San Lorenzo kept their unbeatne record going. On the induvidual scene San Lorenzo's Gonzalo Bergessio leads the goal scorer on 6 with Buonanotte, Falcao and Rothen all featuring for River Plate.

Napoli In State of Shock as River Surprise Home Fans

River Plate have pulled off the shock result of the season(so far) defeating 2nd placed Napoli. The result keeps River in 5th while rivals Club America jumped up to 3rd. River are still 7 off leaders San Lorenzon but are 1 poin away from claiming 2nd/3rd. If they fail to win at Saint-Etienne they could drop as low as 11th.

Jose Sand got the Argentines up and running in he 7th minute after chipping Iezzo causing the Italian to franticly grab at the ball forcing it into the goal. Napoli hit the bar 3 times in the next 10 minutes before Diego Buonanotte changed the tide after his shot was just tapped away by Iezzo.

Jose Sand was forced to save River at the start of the first half, taking down Lavezzi just outside the 18 before the fellow Argentine could get a shot away. Napoli's frustration showed with Germen Denis receiving a yellow card after desperately trying to get the ball resulting in a caution from Fernec Bede.

All was quiet for about 5 minutes before Radamel Falcao got behind a Buonanotte cross, volleying it in from 20 yards. The noise that was created by the 65,000 strong crowd could be heard almost 8km away.

Falcao is estatic after scoring what would be River Plate's winner

Fans re-act as if they have just won the Cup

Papastathopoulos tried to start a Napoli fight-back in the 77th but the Argentines held on to what was their best win of the season.

"The fans, out over in Germany, we never got this sort of treatment. They really love their football and im glad we could give them a great show. I think they know we are contenders for the title," said an estatic Michael Bradley to SMTV.

"Brilliant, Our boys were playing to prove to everyone they have what it takes to fight in this league and i think we have shut up our critics. What we are focusing on now is the Cup match against Boca which is where we really get to prove to everyone that we are fighters," said Australian manager Mitchell Read.

Tosic Arrives Ready For The Challenge

Serbian young-gun Zoran Tosic has completed a surprise deal which saw Gerlo and Mustacchio move the other way. Tosic will most likely feature on River Plate's young bench which features future prospects such as Henrique Buss, Gelson Fernendes and Boateng.

The Serb was apparently bought as cover for Frenchmen Jerome Rothen but if he proves himself at training he might have a run against Fiorentina in the cup. Read has no more plans to sign players but this could just be mind-games preparing for a shock signing.

Norwegian Happy To Play Second-Fiddle to Sand, Falcao

Tarik Elyounoussi has arrived at the Monumental and has announced he won't get "cranky" if he doesnt start every match. Arriving from Heerenveen, the forward is excited to be playing with big names like Friedel, Falcao and Rothen.

"I would never of dreamed of playing with the sort of players i am now. It's an honour to not only play with these guys, but to be manged by such an.....an awesome guy."

Elyounoussi is 'excited' to be playing in Argentina

In order for Elyounoussi to come to Argentina, Read let go of Salcedo (along with Sciorelli).

"Salcedo was unhappy about the lack of game time he was getting. Frankly if he wanted more game time he should of shown us in training instead of having a go at us through the media. But now Tarik is here, he has already spoken out about how he is willing to wait for his chance and judging by how he has performed in training, he wont be far off his debut," was what Read had to say on the situation.

America get down and dirty in the transfer market

America were busy in the transfer market as Ryan placed and amazing 14 players on the transfer list.Ryan said that he wants to trim the fat and tansform the team.5 of the players later than had bids made which Ryan accepted.

Then Niko Kranjcar was unvelied as a new signing and Ryan has promised that he won't stop there.

America are taking ble because huge gamble because when they go through Ryan will have to find replacements and fast but Ryan has stated it will benifit the club in the long run.He then also made it clear once he had finished with all the tinkering that he will be close to making his teams average ratng 88 depending on how fast the players go.

Once the transfers go through Ryan will have an esitmated 25 mil to spend and that will increase if he can offload the rest of the transfer listed players.

More to come as we get it

River Steal Win Late But Come Out With Casualties

River Plate struck late to record a win against Saint-Etienne, resulting in the Argentines taking 2nd spot off Napoli and leap-frogging rivals Club America who both suffered draws. The win came with an injury though, with wide player Augusto Fernandes suffering a bruised heel. The 22-year old will miss River Plate's cup match against Fiorentina and their league match vs Deportivo La Coruna.

"This will be the perfect time to give Tosic a run. I will also rest Jose Sand, which means Elouynoussi will get a run alongside Falcao. I am also giving Henrique, Boateng and Fernandes their first run with the team." But Read has said he wont touch Buonanotte. "The boy's in red hot form. Im glad i didnt sell him earlier in the season."

Diego Buonanotte gave River Plate the winner in the St Etienne match, scorinfg in the 85th. The Argentines dominted possession but only got 3 out of 13 shots on target. Falcao could of scored early in the 2nd but mis-judged his chip which thudded off the crossbar. Buonanotte's goal in the 85th was met with a sign from the home-fans who thought they would leave with at least a point. But that wasnt to be the case with Buonanotte breaking through the defence, finishing from 10 yards.

Buonanotte celebrates with manager Read

The attacking-midfielder had another chance to score in the 89th but hit the post. The 20 year-old has now scored 3 goals in 4 matches and sits equal 5th on the Goal Scorers list with team-mate Radamel Falcao.

Elyounoussi Impresses But River Out Of Shield Contention

Tarik Elyounoussi got an equaliser in the 30th for River Plate but it wasnt enough to keep them in the Shield competion with Fiorentina striking back twice to record a 3-1 win. The result wasnt a complete failure with standout performances from debutants Adriano Buss Henrique, Tarik Elyounoussi and Zoran Toic.

The Italians struck first in the 11th through Alberto Gilardino who climbed over the defence to head home a Montolivo corner. Elyounoussi struck back for the home side, doing a Rooney-esque volley past Sebastian Frey to record his maiden goal for the Argenines which was greated with an applause from the fans.

Elyounoussi celebrates his 1st goal in River colours

The cheers quickly turned to sighs as Daniele Dainelli split the defence in half, breaking free into the 18-yard box leaving Brad Friedel with no hop of saving it. Buonanotte then got his name into the ref's book, but all for the wrong reasons. The wonder-boy showed his frustration by sliding in at Gilardino two-footed resulting in an auto-matic red-card.

The advantage for Fiorentina payed off 3 minutes later as captain Ricardo Montolivo scored an almost carbon-copy of Gilardino, rising high and heading home in the 74th.

Feyenoord have unveiled Jared as their new manager for the next two seasons. The Dutch club, leading Division 3, have beeen on the look-out for a new manager since Leon Vlemmings was sacked by the board after a massive disagreement. It is still unclear what this is about.

However they have found a more than capable manager in Katzeff. He made no secret of his plans for constant glory and success.
